Lucasflim could also found a body double closer to Haden at that age and did a head swap.
It was done before in a similar technique with Dooku in TotS.
Hayden is already hidden underneath Vader's helmet for 99% of his screen time, but when he finally has a chance to play Anakin, the director is supposed to turn around and say "we don't need you mate, we've got a lookalike to replace you"?
@@DS9TREK his likeness and voice will still be there. I meant a body double the same size as he was in the prequels. Even with the deepfake he was still noticably taller and bigger than he was in the early 2000's. Then de-age his face to match the movies as close as possible.
However, the point of this " flash back" was from Vader's PoV. As you know, some memories are recalled as your current self. (The brain is funny in this way) because "Vader" was never there an "Older Anikin" was how his brain replayed this fight.
I believe that it was a great way to show Vader's pain and failures as he saw them. It gives more to the character than just another CGI effect.
BZ to the reimagining of this scene; it is really good. However ... That wasn't the point .
You're just overreaching .
@@tr4gik11 maybe. But creative thinking is better then complaining 🙂

He looks even younger than the prequels
although hayden looks pretty decent & reconisable for his age, this is defenitly the best cgi ive witnessed. you cant even tell that its cg & it makes hayden look more like how he did when he was 19.
Yeah something I couldn't quite understand about a flash back, he looked his real life age despite the flash back being 15 or so years prior
Really grateful for this by the way. But if it's not too much trouble, is the technology able to fatten up Obi-Wan a bit? To make it even more accurate!
This is the best one i've seen yet
Wow, this is a really good edit.
This is SOO much better. Disney should use this and fix some of the enormous plot holes and Kenobi will become a decent series.
omg you did it!, and yeah not gonna questioned why they ignored this way
This is what Disney should have done with both characters, de-age them to make the flash back more believable.
Once a chad, always a chad.
One of the 'faceless men' being humbled. Well done, Hayden. Well done.
