I've just acquired one of these (as the firmware update for the Sony A1 screwed up the connection with my Zhiyun Weebil S...!!!) and have some observations. First, as mentioned, I had to create an account with DJI, just to allow me to use my wholly owned gimbal. It was my money and I own the device outright. Why do I have to bow down to DJI to get it working?????????????? Even more ridiculous, the whole process is seriously flawed as they don't have a link via Google Play for the required app, so you end up having to make all manner of permission changes (that are not obvious) on your phone just to get the damn thing installed. Of course, once it's working you have a number of questions, such as 'why doesn't the cable connection to the camera work'? So you look to the forum, which has also been foisted on you, only to discover that they won't allow you to post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally, having previously read all the advice saying that the DJI Ronin RS4 was the best thing since sliced bread for Sony cameras, I discover that you have to alter the balance setting just to change the camera's battery. WTF??????????? The only 'quick change plate' contains part of the balance system and it blocks the battery port. You have to turn that 'handy' adjustment knob to move the plate out of the way and then you have to balance the camera again, once you've changed batteries. Who, in Hades, decided that was good design???????? If anyone can point out what I might be missing, please let me know, because DJI have left me in the dark since acquiring my details for undoubtedly nefarious reasons.
heavier? I thought it was lighter than RS3
Could you share which cage you are using exactly from SmallRig? Thanks!
This is the cage that I used on my a7iv. geni.us/EglX
Thanks for the video! I couldnt see the compatibility guarantee on the list of dji website. Do you have any issue about a7iv compatibility
A7IV is fine even with a 16-35mm GM lens
@@ThisVSThat thanks for the very quick reply. Do you know the reason why dji did not include that camera to compatibility list?
@@emirhandr.3824 according to this search Database from DJI it should fit. www.dji.com/mx/mobile/support/compatibility

I agree about changing battery on the gimbal. Still have not figure a way around that yet.
