probably the best review on Gurkha 2024 so far by any media outlet as it goes into nitty gritties (finer details) of the vehicle
Hey buddy, what is your opinion on your gurkha ? I had booked my 5 door but very scared
@@SawaijamShreyan darr ke aage jeet hai
thank you for leaving this comment
@@SawaijamShreyanOverweight and underoowered for class.
No automatic option with torque converter.
Abysmal fuel efficiency of 7-9 kmpl
Diesel only means who knows depending on gadkari jees whims may be banned by 2028 then what?
Poor service as in non existent- multiple failures not including all cars delivered had leaks in power steering (just imagine).
Poor build quality as in 3 near fatal accidents due to steering failure, all drivers claimed sudden jam and inability to turn steering, all three cars fell down from mountain side.
Force says 3 yr warranty but if you read the manual carefully the warranty only applies to most things at most for 6 months. Also they will say go to ac company for ac comoressor problems etc. 3 yr warranty applies to crap which doesnt need it like engime block. 6 months is less than even cheap chinese junk.
Middle seat is unusable, so need to spend 50,000 plus to change middle seat.
Multiple frequent wheel bearing failures with multiple customers every 7-10,000 kms why? Who knows. Thats what company says. Keep in mind even skodas diidnt have this issue, nor any tata or mahindra.
If any water exposure is done the alternator and self start motor breaks, comoany refuses to repair or replace, they say alternator/self motor/and ac compressor isnt water proof and if you go in water like more than 1 feet then you are misusing the car, this is what was forwarded in writing from force to their service centre.
Then whats the use of snorkel etc😂😂
Previously they used to boast about mercedes pedigree etc hemce high cost of 7-8 lakhs in 2013. Now they dont have anything from Mercedes then how come price is hitting 21+ lakhs in 2024!!!!!! They dont give usable middle seat, some truck ac blower used as fan, some third class 4000 rupees android head unit. Im not askimg for premium I'm asking fair price for fair job.
But like always customer ke toh naam mein likha hai mer.
Chassis is not painted from inside, let alone rust protection, very soon people will be claiming of sudden rust failure in chassis and body. Remember how force other products are always lined up on roadside for full body painting denting.
Force comoany is like a sarkari thekedar, they can manufacture for others but not for themselves just like any lala company in india.
Ps hilux is getting 12-15 lakhs doscount from most dealers.
Pps remember the 90s and the noughties when the abysmal bullet quality was described as having character and replacing sprockets every 5000kms and getting broken chassis welded every 20,000 kms was called as having character.
Yep the force Gurkha has character and lots of it.
Don't trust these paid shills from auto media, or you will land up with acche din/vikas model/viksit Bharat/swachh Bharat thepla to eat and it'll be a bitter bitter thepla to eat
@@NomadGurkha first I searched for safari storm 6 speed 4wd but didn't found one single peice all over India, than I settled for fortuner 4wd but got to know that old shape is under 20 lakh new shape will cost 24-.... lakhs out of my budget than found a old shape 2012 4wd fortuner but than I got to know old shape was all time 4wd also its very underpowered in the mean time 5 door gurkha was launched and I liked it so booked it now delivery in next month.
2 captain seats in the middle would have made it much better in terms of seating flexibility.. imagine all 6 captain seats with sliding option :)
It can be easily done. But, yes company should have done it.
Yeah FM offers this option. But not sliding though
Ive been driving the Gurkha since 2021 and i really enjoy it. Your's has been so far the most positive review of the 2024 Gurkha I've seen. The Gurkha may not be perfect for many but where else in the world will you get such a handsome vehicle with 4x2,4x4 High and Low Range selectable transfer case, manually locking front and rear Differentials and superb progressive spring suspension at this price point? Yet all some people want to talk about is "interior quality". In 3 years I've not had a single sqeak from my Gurkhas dashboard. Thanks for the unbiased review.
i agree, it is not orefect, but it has character and presence. I love the build, the looks, plastic is long lasting. Overall loved driving it.
Considering these awesome 4x4 credentials, it makes me wonder why this test drive used such a softroader track?
Clearly this vehicle can do much more to really showcase it's 4x4 abilities?
@@mariusgrobler4235 maybe its the abilities of the Auto Journalists that was in doubt. The Gurkha can handle much much more.
They should give captain seats in the second row and place that bench in a park
Great presentation and maybe the only review with positive vibes for the new gurkha!
Thanks. Cannot compare it with the Creta. This is purpose built, and it delivers. Much better/powerful than before.
Gurkha looks old school which I love alot fancy features don't matter
Already booked
Congrats
congratulations
Well done.
Why do people still buy jimny 😅
No automatic is a drawback..not sure why still some cars or offroaders dont offer automatics....Its much needed as one doesnt do off roading all times...vehicle has to be used in urban commute too
Go to kannur ,or ghats you will understand ....this cars with manual gear box rules ...from a PROUD GURKHA owner
@@saikatadhikari4469 I have been to Kannur and drive in ghats...How much percentage of a persons' drive will be in ghats? not more than 10% ....for remaining 90% you will still drive in highways and urban roads where auto makes lot of sense...if thar and jimny have autos, why not gurkha? Today proper offroaders 4*4 does come with autos ...its surely a drawback for buyers considering gurkha of not having an auto gearbox
Didnt the Explorer had a five door version too? I guess this is not the first five door.
True
Only thing I notice on this Gurkha again is the articulation. Previous gurkha models had very poor articulation, and so does this one.
Removing the rear sway bar gives it over a foot of extra articulation.
But the trade off is stability for a tall vehicle like the Gurkha.Articulation more than what is available is required less than 1% of the time but stability on highways is needed a 100%.
Where it lacks in articulation it makes up for with the rear locking differential.
thank you for your insight
Force Gurkha is intentionally killing itself. Neither the sales team nor the sales person from showroom deals with its customers properly.
They have to come out with an automatic and improve the interiors, That is the basic requirement of the market today.
interiors are cheap quality. and automatic is a must
I did take the test drive of 3 door gurkha and loved it. But the question is does the 5 door also has the same power and punch (as foce motor says there is no difference except the additional door) because the 5 door is more than 100 kg heavier then the 3 door.
None of you never told the visibility issue with that snorkel. Force just copied the snorkel from foreign LEFT steering vehicles where snorkel is on right side. But their designing fools did not think right side snorkel won't interrupt left side seating driver and it should be vice versa!
Interior 🤮🤢
Fabric seats at 20 lakh
Keeps your back sweat free
Late in party. But best till now.
I must say that this is one of the best review on Gurkha, may be with Sirish's Evo India Force Gurkha review.
Also, I loved to watch that undercarriage footage of the Gurkha where we could see the 4x4 into action. Loved that footage! Watched repeatedly. Don't know why we don't get such shots for every 4 wheeler review!!
Review of rear seats is not correct, all want good comfort. It seems you are trying to hide the shortcomings regarding rear seats of Gurkha.
No cruise control is another let down for long highway drives.
That’s way if you are not hard core off road driver, other cars are better. You should bring all this out in your review.
Agreed, space is limited and screens are not the best. But I believe people here know just how purpose built this vehicle is, and are already aware of the shortcomings. As opposed to what it was, it is a huge step up, and that is why more positives than negatives.
After @Motoroids, this is by far the best review covering every minute details. I really didn't expect the gearbox details. No one has talked about this yet.
thanks for the feedback
hello, I watched almost all other videos of other you tubers. but your video and presentation is top of the list❤❤❤
thanks for the feedback
I dare topgear Mag India to do a comparison video of toyota hilux vs isuzu vcross, nobody is ready to do it.
Same type of vehicle is different price why would you compare ? Have more money hilux have less isuzu
Why dare and not just ask
@@SawaijamShreyan they are ready to do endeavour vs fortuner (endeavour not launched), thar vs gurkha, thar vs jimmy, gurkha vs jimny (same type of vehicle, same 4*4 low range). Point is just go to any global forum, australia, phillipines, malaysia, thailand, south africa, turkey etc, you will get isuzu dmax vcross vs hilux (its just like scorpio vs safari old gen), globally both these vehicles compete but not in India, the offroad test which most of overdrive, autocar etc do, is just rubbish, watching australian reviews, turkish reviews, you realise the difference.
@@ethanhunt2263 its been so many years, nobody has been able to do it.
@@jattboy2043 ya but you live in India buddy, here both are of different price range. So for us this compariosn is useless.brother what you are talking can be done by faisal khan
Very good review, clearly explaining the new specifications. Definitely a good review when compared to other channels.
thanks for your feedback Sir
Better than Thar
Nice review. I had the BS6 3 door version and I loved it. This looks more interesting 😍
thanks!
Does Force Gurkha come with AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION GEAR BOX ? Or do they have any plans in future ?
The only thing gurkha has better off-road capability is because everything is manual so not short-circuits will survive even in floods
2:03 "5 door version very first time. "Did you know gurkha explorer 5 DOOR?
It makes engines for Rolls-Royce and bmw both are same company
Yes mentioned that
Will gurkha have automatic gear box, eagerly waiting
Not that we know of
Nice review
thanks
Waiting for this type of review every day from the launch time thank you 😊
Awesome job done by Force motors. All the best Force motors !
Review is very good and based on purpose build...some other teams are having fancy reviews...good work force.... purpose build machine....
thanks man
SUV means Road presence, and This One is Fitted the Purpose 👍
agreed
Was waiting for this review since 5 door launch ❤the most best review on gurkha with person who know about it cleanly superrrrrrrrr broooooo
thanks man!!
Even I had to thank you for your review
Ibam waiting for their pickup
Please bring automatic
Its a pity they didn't do a proper 4x4 track...that was really a softroader 4x2 track
...
YESSSS tell me about it. Was hugely disappointed as this was immediately after the 2024 Wrangler drive and that was epicc
Gurkha is trying to follow the don'ts of TATA Nano marketing, they are trying to mask their flaws to the choice of a masculine customer..... But the fact is no masculine customer would love to choose a vehicle with low range of torque, less responding gear box and and slower 140bhp vehicle less comfortable than a Bolero with a basic quality plastics in fittings..... Please try to update as per Indian Standards...!!! We would love to buy one.... Critic's allowed!!..
Impressive Force Motors
The voice of the car 💌💌💌
I have been driving the 2022 version for a year now, my son says the snorkel sounds like Darth Vader is standing next you 😅
Force should come out with 5:seaters five door as well.....in doing so , force can make the seat more comfortable with more leg space....
I can really buy one when it comes with automatic gear box and 4x4 on demand
Very well written piece
Would love to see a Gurkha 5 with captain seats in all three rows
With BS 6 does this vehicle use Adblue.
How many km does it need this Adblue
Great 👍👍
Thanks
Hello, what is the NCAP rating and no of airbags
Why no automatic transmission?
Because grown adults prefer manuals in a rough and tough offroader like this. If you're a pavement princess you can always go for thar or scorpio N.

3 door more practical for a small family, the luggage space is very good compared to 4 door.
Remove the 3rd row captain seats on the 5 door and the boot space is massive.
Honest review 😂
seriously 😂😂😂😂looks like a paid review
Second raw has no legroom
Better practicality than 3-door Gurkha/Thar.

Already having gurkha worst service facility higher service cost than skoda and also difficult in availability of needy parts.

No ground clearance
233 mm isn't enough??
Brother high GC 233 mm itself is reason people are staying from gurkha and you are saying low GC😅
great car worst seats 😂
Low ground clearence nd less wheel articulation
High thN any other vehicles morethan thar ,235mm
It's fixed now

Very nicely put brother.
Best for offroadimg is to buy some second hand car for sub 10 lakhs and purpose modify.
For family use buy mg zs ev for 21 lakhs and use for free with rooftop solar.
Remember with mileage of 8-9kmpl you will spend 1,00,000 plus to run 10,000kms.
While even without solar an mg zs ev will cost you only like 10,000 rupees for 10,000 kms.
Also some safety rating is their unlike the completely unsafe Gurkha with its frequent steering failures, wheel bearing failures etc.
