I am a senior bowler and have the x-1 but I had to put a 2000 grit finish for it to work for me. Very happy with the ball. Keep up the great reviews.
“I’m gonna try to make these videos quicker, instead of 13-14 minutes” proceeds to make a 13 min vid 😂
🤣
I’d rather see 13 minutes of pure shot making, than 5 minutes of techno music only showing all the good shots from the same part of the lane.🤣
I really enjoy your ball reviews. Perfect length, solid info and you keep my attention.
How does this compare to the Rubicon?
I like the look from the lane angle. You can see the transition better. Keep up the good work!!
Roto stuff works so well.Great video keep up the great work.
You really have a nice ball roll JR. I am one of those Knucklers you spoke of. I have to stay right and aim. Zenith looked like a great spare ball. ;)
Your my TOP go to for video reviews... preciate what you do, thanks for the update on layout on balls...your pap must be 4 inch or less huh, maybe 3 5/8 looking at 5 in pin to PAP layouts
this balls a beast and i can get it to hook without really trying and i dont really throw to where i could get a ton of hook with most balls. threw 100 pins over my avg (series) first night with it, no practice other than the shadowballs.
I like that you show a pic of the drilling. You spout all these numbers this by this by this means nothing to most of us. I enjoy your videos
The numbers are all that matter. Seeing the layout actually means nothing
If you dont understand the numbers seeing it at least gives an idea what they mean
@@rickjohnson8527 the thing is, if you drill the ball exactly the same pin and mass bias layout as the picture, for you it could be a totally different layout. First number closer to zero the sharper it is, second number is pin distance has to do with flare potential, 3 3/8 is max flare, with direction with symmetrics is less hook, lower with asymms is less, and higher stays around the same, third number closer to zero is faster transition, and determines pin up or pin down.
You should lightly discuss what the layout you put on it is supose to do for those that don't understand or know.
Hey JR, just a minor thing - your neck chain makes a ton of noise when you throw from rubbing against the mic. Kind of grates the ears with buds in. 😬
I am a noob, I am lost pretty much after the first few minutes. I cannot go left, nice to see people will be able to use this ball for that. Looks like a winner BUT who is the main target audience for your reviews? Most bowlers I am with ain’t looking to keep going left, left and more left.
Just practice. Do the 7 arrow drill over and over. You should be able to go left. It helps me if I think about walking a straight line with my feet while I keep my hips open during the approach. This way I don't drift to either side and the ball gets laid down in the right way
Kinda makes me thing of a Rubicon/phase 2 shape to it....just slightly bigger than the Rubicon but for a asym it looks pretty versatile
Would love a comparison between this and the Phaze III at 3000. Or even see the different surfaces on this
thanks for throwing some straight shots
Good review
What happen to your boy that looks like Kanye lol and another great video keep ot up brother.
I truly enjoy your video length especially if your content is worth viewing. Any thoughts on the Rubicon UC2 match up to the RST-x1
Or I guess even if you could comment on your thoughts between the Phaze III and this that would be great too! Thanks for the vids really help me out with choices and understanding how to be a better bowler
Enjoyed the video JR, I liked the knuckle ball and rolling a full roll, Fantastic Ball, I’m N
Hello JR What Roto Grip model ball is similar to Nomad nomad Dagger?
how does this ball compare to the dv8 imtimadator
Good ball to replace an old physix’s?
Every review I've seen of the Roto-Star Tour X-1 by Roto Grip has looked like this. I saw a video of the explanation for the dumbbell shape of the core, to maintain rotation ease while adding a measure of resistance to turning. Unfortunately, I cannot find that now. But this and the Storm Parallax are two balls that have this sort of core design, and I think for once the core is a big issue when it's this type of core we're talking about. Track has two balls with similar cores, the Precision and In2ition. For league bowlers and seniors, the In2ition breaks at the back more than it did for JR.
I thought Track no longer uses a core with that sort of shape, they used to have the "DNA" core, and the 900 global Ordnance pearl has a dumbbell sort of core shape (the solid does not).
High RGs are underrated; the Hy-Roads have moderate RGs and the Fast Pitch does have a sort of high RG, so there are at least options.
I’m relatively new to bowling and I was wondering if you would consider this a strong ball?
Yes this ball would be considered a strong ball and since your new to bowling here’s a tip the strength of a ball isn’t determined by how much the ball hooks left to right it’s determined by how much it hooks front to back as in how early it reads the lane.
Also this ball looks like a little stronger Hustle HYB
significantly stronger than hustles
About x4 then you are close
More like a lot stronger
@@kierynknox2907 my bad I stand corrected. I was very wrong LOL
@@TACOFULL it’s all good 😂
Will you review the Proton PhysiX?
????? Gonna or did you check out the idol synergy?

Rotogrip has always had problems with the returns
