Such reverberations for me during this discussion. And so timely for a summer season (which always seems to expose-hah!-and magnify our lower desires.) Once again, kudos for your handling of a sensitive and complex subject. 👍🏻

Re structuring our days. My recent surgery and its long painful aftermath has thrown a monkey wrench into my sadhana, with the result of spiraling backwards. So the vigilance we need to be mindful of issues we think are “conquered” can’t be forgotten.

Jai Guru everyone. In last few minutes of the podcast lauren talked about how loving god conquers all desires which seems true and at initial stages of spiritual life it seems relatable. But after some time of walking on the path how does one love god, i mean in the sense that how can we love someone we don't know.Is it a particular aspect that our heart finds close to our being or what is it?how does one find the aspect which one can love because i am very confused about it from some time and it doesn't seem to get clear on its own.

Jai Guru, what a great topic to write to a Monastic about (or to ask in a counselling session for expert advice). It is a very personal and individual thing... Our Guruji advises us to connect to God as Infinite peace, love, joy.. whichever you may feel during or after your meditation.. it does not need to be all of them at the same time! 🙏🏽
