This is exactly the kind of content that the DIY community has been waiting for. Rustoleum paint with 2k clear…adding the pearls is pure artwork. Awesome work. Huge fan of your channel. Thank you for sharing.
I agree,he is freaking awesome!!!
Thank you, guys! 🙌

We thank you, GT!
Yet again, black base is the winner! Test after test pearls, any color, look stunning over black!
Nice Brown result. Would love to see a Gold Pearl over dark Brown.
WOW that brown is insane! That would look sick on an old box Chevy or a truck. With a cream or orange pinstripe and gold rims. I just saw at a few hardware stores today, they have the rust oleum pro red gallon on clearance for like $25 from 65 or so. I think it was called safety red , That might make a good budget base coat for future testing. Awesome work!
With honor and the highest regard of respect, this man is the new and modern aged Bob Ross of paint. Many compliments to his skills plus sharing with the world to see, learn & enjoy....
I came across your channel recently and I'm really enjoying all the videos showing different pearls over base coats. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. I'm considerably older than you and I've had good luck with solid colors, metallics ect but I've never used pearls but now I'm going to try them on my 64 Galaxie. I probably don't have too many more ground up builds left in my life so I might as well go big. Thanks again
Reminds me of Early 80's Gm Brown.
I was thinking the same... My neighbors 1980 Chevy Impala station wagon was same color brown... Ford used same brown in the mid 1970's on L.t.d.'s & Mavericks....
Exactly! We had a late 70s Impala that color.
78' Chevy Malibu
Yep, I had a 83 chevy truck that color
Brown and orange
My first car was a 1981 Buick Regal with a two tone brown and gold. I hated it. If I knew about this kind of painting back then I would have put this color all across it!! I'm loving this format friend. Good stuff!
This is my favorite one, to date. Beautiful color! When I was a teenager in the early 90s, a local guy had a 72 Chevelle in a similar color. That car looked awesome. Side note: he bought the car off a little old lady who kept it in the garage. The guy paid $200 for the Chevelle, cleaned it up, slapped a nice set of rally wheels with white letter tires on it, and used it as his daily driver.
I remember that color on the 70-72 Chevelle
You are opening up my eyes to come up with a color scheme for my 56 Chevy! Keep up the great work!
Looks nice, I’m about ready to paint the interior of my 67 c10 stepside, I did the exterior in a patina using lagoon, brown, seaside and black…….the body panels have been painted and sitting in my dry garage for a year or so……once I get cab interior painted and cab back on the frame I’m going to shoot the body with a flat clear……I still have to airbrush in some more rust….your series have given me some great ideas…..Thank you for doing what you do!
This looks great! if i had an old school square body i would absolutely do this color. the black with that pearl looks great too.
Bro I’m a huge fan of your channel. This is what the average guy wants to do. Spray can as a base and mica pearls and candies. Awesome content bro! Please keep these videos coming. I’m so tempted to paint my Ryker. You are to blame!!! Hahaha -Blessings
My thoughts exactly
Been waiting for this color and didn’t know it. Cooool!
Cool color
It turned out looking great
Bro thank you for the color. Looks freaking awesome so nice different from other regular colors
I would LOVE to see that brown Rust-Oleum with a pumpkin orange pearl over it. I think that would look very interesting.
Looks good. Keep up the great videos . Never knew you could get such a nice color with spray cans, and clear with pearls took it to a new level.
Yes, it does!
Create your own colors by mix & match
Looks good. I think the brown base looks really good. The black was nice too. U making it alot harder for me to decide on my paint color for my truck now
😂😂 you're telling me!
I love every single color combination.. I usually change colors on my car once a year, but whatever comes out, I'll ride that till the next paintjob.
@@GTsPerformance yeah I Wana change the civic up some. Thought the wine color would have been a little darker then it was. My mustang needs a respray and once body works done on the s10 it gotta get paint
I really enjoy the colour/pearl mix videos! Super interesting to see all the different combos!
Thats a great colour 👌 good idea
Black base 💯
I would absolutely paint my car with that recipe!! Beautiful and unique
I'm loving these metallics videos you're doing. Can you do a black basecoat with a candy red or vibrant red flake clearcoat sometime?
I'd LOVE to see that!
Even more though, I want to see Rainbow Pearl over Silver Metallic paint.❤😊
Huge fan of your channel
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Wow. Absolutely spectacular and great results...
These videos are pretty awesome. I appreciate the experiments.
That Brown is actually a really nice color 😍 and the bronze color is equally nice.
The brown on my 1980 C10 is almost that same tone. It'd look badass with the pearl effect, lol.
my dad had a 76 corvette factory brown i really liked it.
Back in the day my body / paint mate done his colt in a red base (RUclips red or emoji heart-ish) he then put a flip paint over. Had orange, green, gold, yellow etc, it turned out amazing. Was a 1991 mitsubishi colt, 1.6t, box shape, 3 door. Give it a whirl.
Love that color. My dad had a brown Chevy Nova.
Another awesome test. This series is really cool. I was just wondering if that would standup against fuel. I was thinking for a motorcycle gas tank.
My guess is that it shouldn't have a problem since it is an automotive clearcoat. But I'll definitely try it!
Been enjoying the pearl videos
This is nice! I would've never thought that it would've came out this nice! Good job bro! 👏🏾
Sick finish on that brown. Love these experiments 💯
That bottom corner of the fender without the Rustoleum looks sharp!
Thank you for sharing this amazing video gives me and probably many others inspiration The color I have been growing more funder as I get older
Digging the pearl videos bro
Nice Brown 👍
That combo is legit
That color would look good on 30's and 40's cars also. ✌️👍
Oh man. I just found your channel n this is great. I did not know that you can spray 2k clear over spray can paint. Now im planning to put blue pearl on black to my chryslers roof. Thank you bro.
Man you make it look sooooo easy.
Looks fantastic, with a cut and Polish, would really set that color off. Nice work!!!!!
These color sprays are epic!
man color came out looking good! its would look good on a truck
I would like to see more of a subtle color change. Like black with a very light red or brown pearl. Like root beer is mostly black but with lots of light you can just barely see brown. Also would like to see a complete car painted like this. Plus how does it last over time.
That color looks really nice it would look great on a pickup truck
It looks great!
Looks great!
Nice color 👍
This came
Out great!
something with contrasting colors would be cool .. 90s minitruck style
I'm probably weird but I like brown cars. I can think of around 2020-2022 brown subaru outbacks or around 2006-2007 special edition honda element SC. If I remember right they called the color "root beer"
A cool video project I can think of, is some sort of refrigerator with a custom paint. It would probably even sell pretty easily after some wet sanding and polishing for a perfect show finish!
You should give the rustoleum 5 in 1 cap a shot it may improve the spray fan pattern on the can, from what i remember when i painted my mirrors, the 5in 1 cap fits most of the lineup of male cans so you can kind of hot swap the cap for whatever color you like
I've seen people try those, but I haven't seen them in my local Walmart.
I'll keep an eye out 👌
Cool videos, the experiments are dope
You do so great work
Man that is a nice color!
Really like that color
this is great looks awesome !
That is real nice!
Been watching your videos lately, very cool. Checked out the products also. It so happens my green Nova is due for a low buck paint job. Now the plan is to try a few of these pearls over john deere green. It'll be fun for sure! Thanks for the videos.
Great work
Gotta say the brown pearl looks better than the pink one in the background.
Awesome was thinking marble and brown Pearl just last weekend this helps 🔥
That bronze pearl you sprayed would've been nice too
I like both the bronze colors keep up the awesome content
I love that color. Looks old school GM but way better
That’s sharp. I enjoy the videos bro.
I used that expreeso base to paint my truck about a month or so ago, used the rustoleum color shift bronze/pinkchampagin, put some flames too, got it to look like a burning old penny. Is a poor quality vid on my channel. I like that color. :}
Good stuff man!!
I liked the brown. I’m working on a 92 Nissan D21/Hardbody and brown is one of the colors I’m considering. Going for a “what if Nissan had an Infinity version of the Hardbody” look.
That would be a great color for a pickup.
Hey GT how are you is Junior from classic VW bugs . Hope all is well . Loving the rust oleum series of paint and pearl application. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your videos, very eye opening to what's possible.
I'd like to see primer gray with a pearl... blue, red, teal, purple... any pearl really.
When you paint with rusto, to avoid tiger striping you should get a rusto cap adapter and New York fat caps. Get them online they’re really cheap.
try ICE CREAM MINT GREEN as a base coat with the light brown pearl
In my humble opinion it looks better on the black than on the brown
Cool stuff keep it up, cheap cool paint jobs
White with silver flake 😮
could you play with the recreational white and pearls or flakes? i think that soft white might be nice for some vintage or softer looks. love your videos, full of ideas to try.
i love this content!
Just started watching channel, Super Nice color!
I tried white with iceberg blue pearl after watching your videos turned out nice
About to spray my square body Chevy P W 7 white and wanted to add little pear, can’t wait to see you do white
Thanks for the video and for taking the time to demonstrate the different color combinations. How about Rustoleum Professional Safety Blue with Blue Pearl Dry. This would be similar to the 80's Chevy and Isuzu's.
Makes me wanna do my 95 Camaro this color 😎
New to your channel. Love the content.
And My god you have a soothing voice.
Im new to the channel l. Love the content man!!! I’m working up the courage to do body paint on my truck.
I have a 66 mustang that is dark black with red interior. Would like to see red pearl over black. Also would like to see how you “ghost” a racing stripe into the paint. Is that done with the materials you are currently demonstrating or some other products?
that expresso with the pearl looks awesome that would look great on my truck you should try a yellow
Mid 80s ford had trucks in ginger brown. That looks like it. Not my first choice either bit it would look good on a restore
I would luv to have this man paint my 1999 Honda CR-V in two tone : metallic green on the sides with black metallic on top.
I'm curious to see what the whole panel would look like, the black with the mettalic over it. That small section looks like a really good color combo
I can see my 2 tone 74 LTD with this color as the rooftop and a sandy gold on the rest of the car.
Orange over black!
That would look good on a square body Chevy.
That is a nice color it woukd be good on a classic regal or cutlass
