As an INTJ I can definitely attest to the fact that we try to find things that fuck up our minds and current perceptions of the world. We love our preconceived notions being shattered. Especially in films, a film that forces us to think and forcibly contradicts what we previously thought to be true or right. Taboo’s are my dog treats. I’m trying for a career in filmmaking, it’s hard finding likeminded people who wish to pursue the same art but most good actors are amazing people to be around and work with. Great people

Really great video. Also super refreshing to get some MBTI content from an ESTP !! - for once, not an IN. Not that I mind, being an INFP myself, but… there’s such a different, direct energy you bring that’s really clear and dead on. ❤❤
I'm the kind of intj that is pretty concerned with matters involving the future. When it comes to my body, the way I see it is that with age, things will begin to fall apart. So in recognition of the future, I do what it takes to maintain my body and prevent that from happening. Diet, exercise and a whole host of other things. It's all about what actions will garner the best results down the road. I'm certainly not an istj though, because I'm way too future oriented on basically everything, especially politics and my interactions with people. I find myself constantly thinking about how the things I have said might alter someone's perception of me. I've taken the Myers Briggs several times and always come up as intj.
I would say I'm a lazy ISTJ. I enjoy doing things like graphics and spreadsheets for almost everything I want to control, like expenses and the things I eat, but not all the time. I get bored pretty easily and I stop doing that sometimes.
I'm an enfp. My father's an istj and mums intj. My istj dad is far from health conscious. He just doesn't worry about his health at all. Smokes eats anything. I've had to step up and am getting him to eat healthily, got him to promise to quit smoking new year, getting him to come work out with me. One thing I give them is how detail oriented they are, how amazing their recalling memories are, and how grounding they are.
Sarah Jasmine M Hope u get somewhere with that. Probs the best way to help/encourage him, based on his type is to provide the benefits and risks of the issue and let him compare the two and choose for himself. Giving him a choice is key.
Your ISTJ dad likely decided long ago with his Si that it wasn't important to eat healthy and not smoke, and it's hard to break that long-standing belief. If you can get to the heart of why he believed that or who he heard it from and logically convince him they had outdated info, he will change and incorporate more healthy habits, I believe

Most relatable comment for me!!! I was confused about the same, whether I'm istj or intj. And your explanation made my mind clear!! Thanks!! I'm too istj with a high level of intuition
Is it strange that I have both traits of the S and the N? It's as if they aren't even opposites in my case. I am extremely good at recalling information and I'm in-tune with my body, though I'm too lazy to do anything about it. I am a HUGE planner. I plan literally every little tiny detail of my life and it's like almost all I do. I don't always follow the plans. Usually don't to be honest, but I need them to keep me grounded and my mind at ease. My mind is never in the present. It's usually always in the future. Sometimes in the past. This video is either unclear or maybe my type is just unclear. Every time you said something about either S or N I would be like yes that's me, for both of them.
+adubber97 Just going off this, you sound like more of an S type, as well as a J. Being good at recalling information is more associated with introverted sensing specifically. Being in tune with your body is S, too. As for planning, that's a J trait.
Back Space it's strange though, because although I've gotten varied test results on different websites, I've never gotten an S. Always I and N. Usually T sometimes F, usually J, sometimes P.
adubber97 Oh, okay, that's trickier then! Yeah, I wasn't going off much there, so maybe my assessment was off. I've done many tests and always come out as INTJ, and in the past when I understood it less and I was a bit skeptical and thought, hmm, could I be this instead (INFJ, or INTP, etc.) I've gone and read over their type descriptions and functions and it's very, very clear that, nope, that's not me. INTJ all the way. Your best bet, if you're interested in figuring out your type, might be to look at the functions themselves instead of type descriptions. Learn the difference between extraverted and introverted Thinking, extraverted and introverted Sensing, etc. See which ones you use the most. For instance, as an extraverted Thinker and introverted Feeler, my emotional life is very private and centred around my own personal values, ideals, etc. whereas the way I communicate is very logical and facts-oriented. For people that are extraverted Feelers and introverted Thinkers, their communication tends to be more people-oriented, more subjective, they tend to have more awareness of social norms and expectations; they have more awareness of how to affect people (whether it's to comfort them, move them, manipulate them, etc. - depending on what kind of person they are and what their aims are!), whereas their thinking occurs more privately, behind the scenes. Sometimes it's confusing because a person could strike you as more of a thinker, because that's what they put out there (it's extraverted), but really their feeling side is a bigger part of them, it's just introverted/private (like in an ESFP or ISFP). But reading the descriptions might help you figure out which functions you use, and that can help you narrow down which type you are. Hope that helps. :)
I'm an INTJ female and though it comes out VERY sensory in your video (duh...LOL), I can understand what you mean by saying. A good way to put it is that INTJs are like olympic snipers who can watch their target for days, not eating, sleeping, etc. because we're focused on the mental activity of what we're doing and couldn't care less about what's going on in the box. ISTJs are like the soldier that fights and comes home and wants meat n' potatoes. Maybe that helps.
I'm ISTJ and want to know what you all like to do for work, hobbies, friends, social life. I work in medical records but feel sort of disjointed b/c of the social interactions most of what I don't participate in, I like quiet and a conscientious worker. I can be friendly but don't exhibit "over the top" behavior. I'm trying to get a feel about these things
I've definitely been tossed around alot on the spectrum, never been able to stay one type for long. Until this year, I started getting INTJ and ISTJ. I averaged all the results out and I'm about 2% more S than N.
Really excellent commentary - I also liked watching your eye movements and facial expressions when communicating - very engaging. I think I'm an INTJ, but I think I hate planning. However, I am very careful when making decisions and seem to have a knack of making the right decisions, or anticipating/predicting the possible outcomes and making the right decision - I do think I tend to have my thoughts ahead of the now, so probably INTJ. Also, I am very creative and think creatively, like to solve problems and make improvements or develop systems that do so. I read somewhere that we may not be able to control our hunger and may eat too much (my problem), but that may be enneagram - not sure where I read that from, but it applied to me.
So many personality types. Im trying to figure out all the subtle difference. The N vs S, and J vs P parts I'm especially unfamiliar with. This was very helpful. Thanks
I’m an intj but I love fitness and I am in tune with my body, I also like to be “on the front line” so to speak which I’m isn’t typical of an intj so it can be confusing but after research I’ve decided I’m definitely an intj

I REALLY miss his videos on mbti, enneagram and socionics soooo much. i wish he would have at least left the ones he's already filmed instead of deleting the whole channel. a lot of my fundamentals on this stuff has come from this guy.
I find fourth Se under stress is most definitely manifesting as impulsive eating and stuff. Me and almost all infj women I know have had an issue with food and overeating but infp women have been these skinny geeks who are too good for bodily needs. I know a lot of overweight istjs who still are extremely aware of their comfort and talk about their vitamin water magnesium spray research so much I lose track... you'd think Si is comfort and so they eat to be comfy. These are all anecdotes... it's difficult. But istjs being aware of their bodies is not just an uncertain mental image ,it's completely true. All of them do prioritize it, some just end up gaining weight from it.
There is a website that narrows it down. It tells you what percentage you have of N and S. I was 54% N and 46% S. So in a way, it is possible to be a bit of both.
as INTJ i can confirm the part of not taking care of my body, and yes I very thin and ppl keep telling that I'm too thin but I never notice about it, and yes nothing make me craving ever since I don't even have my fav meal or what did I eat most, for me food is keeping me alive just eat to make myself still walkable.
I'm an INTJ who is a fitness and nutrition freak (Very disciplined BIG time) . There is No way I have SI as a dominant cognitive function. I am a textbook INTJ.
However; my goal of doing this is not to only look great for the present time but because also and EQUALLY I envision how I want to look like when I'm older.
It's like me asking what's the difference between my 3 year old ESFP niece & my 30 year old ENFP sister,my answer is they are both very different to each other. I'm a 38 year old ESFJ who obviously sees that my communication style, etc is closer to mine,it is more to do with how another SF like her makes me feel inside,I don't feel the same when I'm with an NF type as it kind of feels awkward. Having said that, some SF's prefer an NF type (where the S/N is about 50/50),my ratio is 75/25 so I need another SF. The same goes with my ISTJ niece (other brothers daughter),she would prefer to live with him (he's an INTJ) over her ESFJ mother (they both have shared custody as they split up),so she wants to move closer to him when she gets older. I don't know why some _SFJ's haven't worked out for me,maybe they are more of a T or an N than I am !!!!
Ya I have to be conscious of my body needs, almost as though there is no choice. I have overworked while ignoring my body needs many times and things screwed up. The lesson I learnt is, put body needs first. I wonder if insensitivity to body sensation is a factor that promote a person to become an INTJ? For eg, you mentioned they don't have a craving most of the time. And they probably also don't experience intense discomfort when they are hungry, or sickness when they overwork? Perhaps a person with higher sensitivity to body sensation has more chance to grow into Istj while the more insensitive one has more chance to grow into intj (let's not talk about other type)?
my mom is an ISTJ and she is very focused on her weight and her body but she considers herself to weigh too much because she overeats as a self-soothing, chaos management technique. (no one else in her life cares or thinks she's fat)
Nowadays I am mostly ENTJ, sometimes I act more ISTJ or ESTJ (sometimes I behave as an ESTP) depending on the situation where mostly I have to do it alone in my own. This is why I have the plan to form a team to take these tasks I am not as good at in my company.
OpportunisticHunter I reckon our minds don’t work that way. You can learn to improve functions, but completely swapping cognitive functions some days, randomly, isn’t likely. Perhaps you’re still maturing mentally so that could explain not analyzing yourself definitely.
But as I learned vaulable info from an ISTJ. I've learned how to care of my physical body more and eating habits. It's a struggle tho I'm on and off with it.
On the 16 Personalities test, I’ve gotten 49% on the S trait and 51% on the N trait multiple times. Overall, I would definitely consider myself an INTJ (I have literally everything in the next 8 years of my life planned out, with multiple other plans just in case plan A doesn’t work out, I enjoy contemplating various topics, etc...), yet I do seem show many ISTJ traits. I make sure that I’m in shape, there are times when I can practically go into detective mode with my surroundings, I have a relatively clean living space, so on and so on. So am I switching between both of them, am I actually an ISTJ, or am I an invincible INSTJ hybrid?
As for intj, it's been my experience that their ni can fabricate stories in their minds and I've come to dislike that function as I find it superstitious. And to think intj is meant to be my ideal type. No dominant ni for me thanks. I favour ne, se, Te, fi. But no type possess all the aforementioned functions. Hahaa
I'm watching this year's later. 3 out of 4 INTJ I know are very fit with athletic build. And their 30-40 y/o. It's possible that you haven't met one because their hermits. I know one that is skinny but he can't help it. Genetics. I can tell the difference in their mannerisms. The INTJ comes off as more empathetic even if it is fake. The ISTJ comes off as rigid and very fact based. ~ENTP
Heitor S S Sorry if you're taking offense. I did say more empathy even if it's fake That doesn't mean that it's ALWAYS fake. Like I said before I would NEVER say a person that I do not know is a psychopath. We are all fake at certain times btw.
@@ifonlyunu994 an intj will most likely not be fake with people. there's no need , we don't "need"your friendships /bonding time to fulfill ourselves , we're about facts not feelings . *our intuition pick up if people are being fake with us. *our introversion allow us to not be solely depended on other people or material possession. we can sacrifice time /"fun" for complex concepts that we deem individually matter. unlike you extroverts our thinking function give the ability to think beyond human capacity of need, to obtain present relations. instead we can carry out the duties to focus on our future , if we ever needed to. rather than being unauthentic to gain approval from people , we might not even deem worthy /stupid/ manipulative /needy ect. *and lastly our judging prowess , lets us repeat the other ideas i list above . or ideas i or anyone fathom to think , until the individual intj's aught to.. or an intj can bend the truth to get around small talk and mundane trivia. cryptonite .
I've got in to fitness through knowledge so it depends what what we are interested in at that time. If one is fitness it can last or be just for a certain amount of time. I'm turned in to a life style. Did a lot research 9n fitness and then turned in to reality. Sometimes we get stuck in our heads and don't turn it into reality.

Good video man, keep it up
I'm 17. The first test I did I came out INTJ. The next couple I came out ISTJ (Different tests used to).
Same here. I got INTJ the first time, then I got ISTJ and now i'm getting INTJ again. I'm confused!
I shifted from ISTJ to INTJ when I was around 19 - 20 years old, but the difference between the personality S vs N is around 2%
same here
Same to me! I'm not sure if I'm INTJ or ISTJ :S
There is a website that narrows it down. It tells you what percentage you have of N and S. I was 54% N and 46% S. So in a way, it is possible to be a bit of both.
as INTJ i can confirm the part of not taking care of my body, and yes I very thin and ppl keep telling that I'm too thin but I never notice about it, and yes nothing make me craving ever since I don't even have my fav meal or what did I eat most, for me food is keeping me alive just eat to make myself still walkable.
i really like the way u speak, u did quite good research, thanks
I am an INTJ with enneagram 1w2. A lot of things did not make sense until I learned my Enneagram type. The 1w2 INTJ is like an ISTJ.
Awesome video bro. The situation you described at 4:35 is exactly me. INTJ raised in extreme sports environment.
my mom is an ISTJ and she is very focused on her weight and her body but she considers herself to weigh too much because she overeats as a self-soothing, chaos management technique. (no one else in her life cares or thinks she's fat)
I'm an ISTJ, But relate better with INFJ... I think I have trained myself to be more sensitive.
Iam an INFP and even when i was very young i cud intuitively know the intuitives and separate INTJs from ISTJs.
INFPs are cute :3
every time u gulped I laugh
I've grown from INTp to INTj... during school. I was too much negative INTj for a while and after college I went superb ENTJ
Not how it works lol
I'm a younger INTJ and my BMI is 17, so when u said skinny I started laughing so hard.
The old boy & momento got me. Continuing to watch videos to compare my various personality I get.
your ISTJ 1k subscriber is here !
✌
I'm in the middle. I get both intj and istj. They both feel like me and I feel that I'm on that spectrum going back and forth.
When you are both its ixtj
Great video, I'm an ISTJ
But as I learned vaulable info from an ISTJ. I've learned how to care of my physical body more and eating habits. It's a struggle tho I'm on and off with it.
I like your videos.
I'm both depending on what's going on with me at the moment.
Same here. My N and S traits keep fluctuating. I'm currently an ISTJ, but was an INTJ a couple of months ago.
No you're not. Look up the function stacks... you can't be multiple personality types.
Jake Doherty if you find yourself thinking about life and death your probably an N, or as I have just said in my last comment about eye movement.
Lisa Allan Based upon what you've said, I think I'm an INTJ.
You can't be both. It doesnot work that way.
we love ej
That test sucks. Look into cognitive functions
@@nahualli5003 thanks for reminding me how cringy I was 4 years ago. Literally hate that so much
@@hiba1612 yeah lol I’m actually an ESFP I was just in denial/actually retarded back then
@@Funkopartnerhow do you go from INTJ/ISTJ to ESFP. Did you seem more introverted in ur younger years (shy etc)
@@M9Bandit bruh idk cognitive dissonance and denial
Every test tells me I'm an ISTJ but im very clearly an INTJ. Its really weird.
Hahaa
I don’t get it tho cuz I’m literally half and half and it deadass hurts my brain so ima just identify as a mix even tho Ik it’s not a thing 🙈
~ENTP
Oh look there's an ENTP calling us psychopatics. Such a surprise.
lol, N-O. I would never describe someone that i don't know as psychopaths. please get a life.
Hm ok, then what does "fake empathy" means?
Heitor S S Sorry if you're taking offense. I did say more empathy even if it's fake
That doesn't mean that it's ALWAYS fake.
*our introversion allow us to not be solely depended on other people or material possession. we can sacrifice time /"fun" for complex concepts that we deem individually matter. unlike you extroverts
our thinking function give the ability to think beyond human capacity of need, to obtain present relations. instead we can carry out the duties to focus on our future , if we ever needed to. rather than being unauthentic to gain approval from people , we might not even deem worthy /stupid/ manipulative /needy ect.
*and lastly our judging prowess , lets us repeat the other ideas i list above . or ideas i or anyone fathom to think , until the individual intj's aught to..
or an intj can bend the truth to get around small talk and mundane trivia. cryptonite .
hey whats your study background how do you know these? Just wondering thanks
ISTJ go by the book, INTJ WRITE the book
I've got in to fitness through knowledge so it depends what what we are interested in at that time. If one is fitness it can last or be just for a certain amount of time. I'm turned in to a life style. Did a lot research 9n fitness and then turned in to reality. Sometimes we get stuck in our heads and don't turn it into reality.
Hey could you upload your video of ISTJ vs ESTJ?
could u pls do compatibility of the intp/entp types
I think you're an intuitive person. I can tell by the eye movement. Sensing people don't move them around a lot, generally.
Lisa Allan I'd say I'd depends on the type of n and s ie introverted sensors don't but se users scan there environment. Ni look through things. Ne look around a fair bit ive seen. But I'd not look to it that much.
Dr drey is peak istj stereotype
I think a lot about the future but the test say that i'm istj
if they walk around with a notepad they are INTJ
You remind me of my ESTP brother
INTP and INTJ parents gave birth to an ENTP ? how did that happen?
Wrong wrong...how can you be comfortable in a mausolism of cleanliness?
S-Type and nerd at school? They excell at something with exception of some technical stuff? They just cannot think associatively and recognize patterns.
How shitty it sounds. I am way better in math than my ENTP friend. You just think so stereotypically, stop this. I also know an ENFJ who is way better in real life staff than me
I am an ISTJ, btw
I wonder how many people here think that this is his youtube channel... 😂
I notice a good majority of the mbti community likes making up "facts" off the top of their heads. You all take assuming and prejudging to a whole new level, lol.
mgtow?
Way too disjointed. Lost interest.
No no I'm fat cause my pathways are all blocked with vaccines for 34 years.
