in season 4, devs were just dipping their toes on diablo 3 damage numbers but season 5 is the official transition of diablo 4 to diablo 3.

I feel like the more Rob says "billions and billions of damage" the more this will get nerf or worse will not make it to season 5.😅

@@flowqi212 I wonder why all barb players are so braindead. Like i really wonder why they will take the most insane bug that will obviously not make it to live to say that Sorc is strong. Go watch Mekuna play, he spent like 6 hours trying to replicate that bug and couldnt. Barb is currently 10,000% stronger than Sorc. Barb needs to be heavily nerfed for the game to ever be balanced. But Rob does not care for the health of the game, he just wants Barb to be op. Luckily Poe2 is coming out soon tm.
@Mas-ij3ti geez, calm down man. Nobody says that Sorc doesn't need help and that Barbs don't need to be fixed. But replacing one broken thing with 2 new broken things won't help anyone. If these items make it to the live server unchanged, balance and build variaty will be even worse than it is now. The top 3 Barb builds are all based on bugs in S4, these things have to be fixed first.

Great video! Two questions: Do we still need the fortify from Rallying Cry with the changes to bash/"clobber" ? And: how much fury are we actually spending, because of the fury costs and cost reduction, is it possible to achieve the maximum damage buff from Wrath of the Berserker?
Additional Fortify sources are stilled needed on high tier - you spent 15 & you gain 15 so that is no problem & actually really good. With seems not worth it atall unfortunately
Have you tried using Magnus Optus with this build? Since you have so much fury you could do the build where for every fury you have you do 0.4% more damage or something like that I think Cliptis ran a build like that at one point in season 4 and it was pretty solid

Wouldn't GF pair really well with this unique amulet? For a really heavy crit scale?
Have you tried a similar setup with dual-wield instead of Hammer of the Ancients you play Rapture for extra attack speed with these new unique items, I feel like that's even faster gameplay and you probably regen and spend fury more often for more damage.
I did but dual wielding is always a huge dps loss

ROB Listen up Brother.. Spin-2-win for life !!! clearing the 101 pits with your build, running about 5-6 / 15 minutes (stop to empty bags, use obols.. master work something) works great. I even ran a few rando's through for a bit.

Any good way to find the new uniques? Could not find any so far
Been grinding Infernal Hordes a lot and all I got was the new boots. The amulet is a season quest reward at least I think
@flowqi212 I was grinding the maiden, but so far not even she would drop much. Killed some normal Muriel and varshans but also just crap :(
One would think for a ptr you easily get new uniques and even users to test stuff...
@GamersVault2011 I feel like the Maiden even drops less uniques than before. It would certainly be nice to test these items without the grind, especially since they all are hopelessly bugged right now -_-

Hi Rob, wirst du am PTR auch mal das neue Amu was eisernen Mahlstrom verstärkt austesten?, ich stelle mir da in Kombination mit dem anderen neuen Schwert was Waffenbeherrschungs in Kernfertigkeiten verwandelt in Kombination mit Todesstoß als was brauchbares vor, ich habe eben geschaut da gab es noch kein Video von diesem Setup.

I want life steal for my barb!!! Maybe just an aspect for frenzy that gives life steal and atk speed or something, frenzy dustdevil would be awesome, I spent like 60 hours just trying to get good GA gear and it wasn't happening, when i would finally find something id brick it, really not sure how people get all the GAs they need and the perfect tempers and masterwork rolls, i could find 10 griffons eyes in d2 by the time i get there.
I predicted that after the patch notes, the new items would greatly offset The temper nerf.
I hope it stay the same when S5 comes out
the amulet with ramaladni's might be good no? stacking resources gives multiplier for both
cant use bash though...you will have to use another basic since shard and ramaladnis are swords and you need a bludgeoning weapon to use bash...well you can still use two handed mace but then you are not using ramaladnis

Locran's crit chance bonus is bugged? The "instead" keyword at the end of the description confused me, so I thought maybe it won't apply the crit chance bonus if you have above 100% fury. But it doesn't seem to scale with fury at all.
After some more testing I think it's applying the crit chance bonus just once, and not for every point of resource.
Bleed doesn't work why?
Also with so many new max resource items, I kinda wanna try Magnus Opus builds ( not bash) , and in season 5 all uniques are buffed so will be interesting to see how strong it will be

Not really, it's single target only and dmg is still much lower than bash, I mean you can still use it and you can still clear most content if not all content, just you won't be clearing high pits which is fine I guess. Also frenzy necklace sucks, basically legendary is better.

With the Bash temper nerf, wouldnt it be better to use Ramaladni instead of a legendary 1 hander and set Bash to use the dual wield weapons? Or would that be too much damage loss?
Yeah I'd Imagine Ramaladni's would give much more damage, especially because we're already stacking max fury for the amulet.
@@Draconix6can’t use ramaladnis with shard of verathiel since in order to set ramaladnis as weapon type you have to have a 1h bludgeon

If the crown is “bugged” like is being said for sorcs damage then this bash new bash damage will going away prior to season 5 start right
It is not bugged for barbs just double damage like expected
you just need to die once in the pit so the monster and boss reset, even the stacks mechanics is gone

As much I like bash, I will not get my hopes up since this is just a PTR. A lot can change once season 5 goes live. But if this goes live with the barbillion damage, good.
For any other build i will say "Man, remember its a PTR i don't think that dmg go out live" but because its the barb i will say "Enjoy that damage next season"
At least it's harder for them to decide to nerf a build that use the sword. The sword that gives the basic skill multiplicative bonus can be equipped to all classes not just barb.
If they nerf the sword just because bash is OP they will end up nerfing all builds from all classes that uses the sword.
@@duskairable That is exactly what has been happening for a year now though. Necro blood builds are pretty much useless because overpower is too strong on barb.

Not dumb at all. First of all Bash needed to be fixed, secondly the items are not Barb exclusive. Sorcs can even do Pit 200 bosses with the same gear ;)
The reason is simple, before you could reach an incredible power to early, I have seen barb at level 30 do multiple million hit, cause almost all the damage come for a single temper affix, now to reach that damage, and even higher, you actually need more time and the journey doesn’t end after 4 hours ones you hit the bash temper on all your weapons as season 4
Bash temper is bugged, it gives multiplicative bonus, there's charge and dustdevil dmg temper too in the game but it's additive. Why only bash multiplicative but not charge & dustdevil?

I dont get why the paragon is so focused on overpower when its only used for the 40x when hota overpower which you can easily proc after 4 bash crits... i mean the overpower damage is way too low compared to normal crit damage. Hmm

I hate how same barb builds/skills will be meta for season 5 as season 4, so many new uniques and legendaries but literally nothing change..
I'll probably make support barb, make a diff class or make a mid tier build and just accept it's not gonna perform.

What about that Lilith debuff that makes your attack weaker. I understand that you’re maxed out but on those that are not makes it virtually impossible to level up your gear even on lower pits. That debuff needs to GO! I cannot play the pits with that in way. SUPER LAME
Druid still feels underwhelmed to play. Sorc, not too sure what’s their direction now when immortality is removed. But as usual from blizzard dev, let’s buff barb again😂😂
I don't like that gold and damage inflation... Wall of text on the screen. Can't they cut it like 100X times togheter with gold costs and monster hit points ?

how is amulet bugged?
@NoodlesXmachina Rob says it, it indicates additive damage but gives multiplicative damage. Besides that for me it doesn't give crit chance though
@@flowqi212 so i my interpretation of how it is supposed to work is it “adds” a percentage multiplier of your crit strike damage apart from what is gained from the amulet. so 1500 crit strike damage would become 3000 with 200 resource. is that a correct interpretation
@@flowqi212 which when fixed and combined with a grandfather should lead to, let’s just say absurd crit strike damage and theoretically insane bleed builds too. but i haven’t seen any vids on that stuff yet so ill wait to see if im right

Why are you pushing overpower Rob? The occasional Bash OP procs very rarely and the HotA OP doesn't matter damage whise. I wouldn't use the Glyph and Node and even Brute Force seems questionable 🤔

I would just like a build to take back to the Eternal Realm that doesn't get destroyed for 'Season' purposes. I really have no interest in the seasons, so why do Blizzard keep breaking my Eternal builds?
Teleport nerfed, focus nerfed, flame shield nerfed, ice armor nerfed, Debilitatin Roar nerfed, Shadowblight nerfed, Victimize nerfed, etc
Meanwhile, Barb holding one button to auto-attack with Bash or WW... Yeah, this game is perfectly (un)balanced.
They will nerf everything to the ground outside the Gushing Wounds of course with its double dipping that shouldn't be nerfed, right?
But we all know that this Crown of Lucion is bugged and every build and class using it is doing crazy damage. Won't last long.
Ich halte es für viel zu früh jetzt schon S5 Builds anzupreisen. Es ist der PTR und es ist mehr verbuggt denn je. Also bitte hört mal auf die Leute damit zu überfrachten zu solch einem Zeitpunkt. Es folgen noch unzählige Anpassungen bis wir Normalos S5 spielen werden.
Why are there s5 planners and build vidoes already? Feedback videos and pointing out bugs and other things make sense. Build videos seem weird and somewhat click baity in a way. We dont know yet if any of this will actually make it to live or how many changes there will be. Its just for free views in the meantime
And he put two mega bugged items on this build that stack infinite ..... like wth LUL

Because it’s for the ptr players, and after the ptr ends, patch hits, and season 5 starts, all he’ll have to do is update the build guide.
