but what is the point there is no endgame besides a number of the same rift you have done a million times there is litterly no point in even gearing
How do you get your damage to tick 2x? Example at 7:00 mins you're ticking damage 2x on the dummy.
Hi Rob, on your amulet you have Critical Strike Damage as a tempered option. I don't have this option on my barb (lvl100). Can you advise please?

all his build only work with greater affix , dont trust his buid, you will never even come close to match the power of his build if you dont have the same tempering rank like his and greater affix , these build is not accurate at all for normal affixe
@@frenchyfrenchsilver1331 I mean, isn't that a self evident statement? Of course GAs and max tempering is going to be needed to reach high Pit levels and Uber boss clears. Same for the Uber uniques required in the build.
I've been running the build without Uber uniques and with only some GAs and mid level tempering, and although I'm not able to clear super high pits it is still clear that mechanically the build works well (albeit it's a bit slow for my tastes).

PSA: I am running 2 barbs, only direct bash and one bleed using Robs exact build with Ubers and heavy handed + bash ranks. My bleed is finally matching direct damage as 3800 crit, 400 vuln, 5 extra Bash ranks, 4 heavy handed, 65% crit. It’s about dead even 2 to 2.5 mins clears on pit 90. I really recommend doing direct damage bash until you have pretty crazy gear, it is also waaay easier and cheaper to build. Rob confirmed he has not tested bleed bash with more average gear. Good luck!

How come there is 2 set of numbers when you bash? Like the bash on the dummy hit for 23 mil and 24 mil together (not the bleed)

Hi Rob, can i ask how you get double bleed & dmg hits per bash? at 10:00 i see you hitting the dummy and each Bash hits twice and then the bleed also goes off twice. But i copied the build exactly but when i hit the dummy my bash only hits once and my bleed is only there once aswell. What am i doing wrong?

Rob says bleed ticks twice a second but on console on my barb it didnt ticks twice only once
Console player should hit the trainings dummy and watch if they have the same problem (missing 50% bleed damage)

Not really, you need high crit to benefit of that, would not recommend switching without it

Hi Rob! Great content as always. I noticed at 7:05 when you hit the dummy your bash hit twice and you got two separate bleed ticks. What is causing this? Whenever I try this, I only get one bash hit, one bleed. Been scratching my brain for hours. And yes, I have bash cleave on all the weapons.
Sry for the confusion this is just a target dummy only big not a specific build mechanic

Wow this was great. I was missing a couple of interactions but this guide really helped to clear up my questions.
I have been playing the stone skin build with Shako and was trying to work out when to transition to bleed. After watching, I think I'll just go to the HotA build and see how that feels while I work towards getting the Grandfather.
There are a couple of immediate things I can do to improve that I learned today - such as using the antivenin.

Don't transition into bleed before you're close to Robs gear (3 GA on almost all items, multiple ideal masterwork crits). It's a trap.
Rob, I have everything here as close as I can to your build but I'm not getting the bleed numbers even close to yours. What is the most important things to look at for the big bleed numbers?
Everything in the build scales off of each other. You need your bash Cleave to be double or triple master work critted (25%). That makes your Berserk ripping aspect do more damage at the base level. Then you need high crit damage to make Gushing Wounds 140x multiplier hit harder. You also need vulnerable damage so your Hemorrhage (legendary paragon) multiplier goes up. For example Rob is getting 60%x more bleed damage to vulnerable enemies from Hemorrhage. To put it simply: His bash does a fuck ton of damage, berserk ripping scales off that, gushing wounds and Hemorrhage multiply that and you end up with a ton of bleeding damage. Holy Bolt elixir, plus Ranks to bash,war cry and heavy handed make big difference too, but the above explanation should clear a little confusion on why his numbers are so large.
@@Bherby it's actually insane how much this build seems to scale with higher stats, because everything is multiplicative to each other. I think I got pretty decent gear with half the items masterworked to 12/12 and the rest between 8/12 and 10/12.
I have 64% crit chance, 3635% critdmg, 395% vulnerable dmg, +4 Bash and +4 Counteroffensive, so definitely lower in all aspects. However, when I am on the target dummy I only get my bleeds to around 120-150kk ticks compared to his 600kk ticks, so only around 1/5-1/4 of his dps with all stats a bit lower.
@@andreasels779 yeah, the triple greater affixes on all of robs gear makes such a big difference. Especially since masterworking gear improves affixes by percentage, it just makes them scale even higher.
His greater affix rolls are insane
Switched over with similar stats and feels like this is very hard to reach good scaling for on, direct damage may be the way to go unless you have crazy gear.
Hey rob, my barb hota bleed only deal 170million dps bleed max, can't reach a million higher. What do you think I miss ? Is it only the crit dmg and vul ? sitting at 4000 crit dmg and 400 vul with 11 rank of dmg cry, 15 rank on bash. My bash only deal 40-55million also.
Same problem, something is off. 4.1k crit dmg, %72 crit chance, %421 vul, %30 blood rage 1.6k str, even got rank 15 bash and doing 140m bleed per tick

@bjolycayla You need the holybolts. Those high ticks are when Holy bolts hit if I'm not wrong. I have seen my ticks at 800m.

Where does the super bleed come from?
4x bash stacks > hota > shouts and vulnerable > spam bash with full fury.
my bleed is like 1-2 cm of bleed ticking on bosses

I think a guide on how to get that level of gear would be more helpful to be honest, I've been following this build for weeks and just the planner was all the explanation necessary. But even playing hours a day i get no whiff of triple GA gear, and if i do its trash.
There is no guide. You farm, farm, farm, and farm some more. You either get lucky with what you need or you sell items that you don't need and buy what you do need.
You need to understand that Rob plays for on average 10 hours a day most likely (probably even more) Combine that with him playing alongside other sweaty players and that gives him a lot of Uber Boss rotation runs
Triple GA gear is not required, but the absolute worst thing about this build is the need to get double or triple crit masterwork rolls on crit chance and bash temper, which requires an insane amount of farming, gold, and luck. This something he didn't seem go into much at all.

Yeah same with his bleed it's ticking twice a second for some reason and never explained why. Cause it's clearly not the paingorger cause it's doing it even before he use flay, there is something we missing here

I built this build and it feels like I cant hit the insane numbers he's hitting. I have 4k crit damage 400 vuln damage, have bashing cleave on my weapons and even the damage while berserking. Copied the paragon exactly as well, does anyone know what might be the issue? I have all the correct aspects as well and all the uber uniques.

How are you getting 2x bleed ticks on the training dummy? i tried everything i could think of , standing further away, standing close as i can get and i still cant get 2x bleed ticks? :( help would be greatly appreciated
Apparently even when you bash normally you have 2x hits on the dummy in the video, but i cannot get 2 i only get 1 set of numbers resulting me in hitting only once per bash.
How do you get 2?
I would also like to know how this is happening as well as from what i understand basics are only supposed to be single target? I only do one hit with bash and one bleed tick also.

Hi Rob, I did some testing early on in the season to figure out how GW was actually scaling, and it looks to be scaling off of your RAW CSD% from gear/paragon (not the 4000-ish% percent in your sheet) as follows:
GW_multiplier = ( 1+rawCSD% ) * ( 1 + 50%*140% ), which boils down to ( 1+rawCSD% ) * 1.7.
(the 1.7 bit is a leftover multiplier from after the CSD rework which was the only part of the above equation that worked in S3 for instance, which was why GW sucked as it didn't scale off of CSD% at all, just a constant 1.7 multiplier). This means if an applied bleed ticks for 100 dmg, a crit through GW would tick for: 100 * ( 1+rawCSD% ) * 1.7
If you have CSD multipliers like for example HH, grandfather or 2H mace expertise (x15% CSD while berserking), those multipliers are multiplied on the above formula like the following example for 3/3 15% HH and 100% from grandfather:
GW_multiplier = ( 1+rawCSD% ) * ( 1 + 50%*140% ) * (1+15%) * (1+100%) * ...
Also in general, I don't recommend using the total sheet values for calculations, they're misleading. Use the raw values from gear+paragon to base the math off of (the values at the bottom of tooltips when you mouseover a stat).

@@Rob2628 Hey, just wanted to give a small update on the GW math I posted up above. I went back and looked at the original data I posted above, as well as doing some more GW testing for the Cleaver glyph and Grandfather (cleaver doesn't affect GW btw). I don't know if my original data was simply lacking somehow (most probable explanation) or if blizzard hotfixed the GW interaction early on in S4, but as of writing this, GW might be one the most literal abilities in the game right now as the interaction is simply:
When causing an enemy to bleed, you have a chance equal to the "Critical Strike Chance" stat in your statsheet to increase the bleed by an amount equal to the "Critical Strike Damage" stat in your statsheet.
It doesn't give two shits about general crit interactions in the game (e.g. conditionals like the phys crit against elites from Harrogath), if the two general crit numbers in your stat sheet do not change, it doesn't affect GW.
I was initially a bit harsh on Rob's usage of the statsheet CSD, mainly because almost every bit of math in the game doesn't use those numbers, it uses raw values, and tooltips in-game are updated without taking other stat interactions into account which is misleading. As it turns out the simple answer was the correct one here, and all the hoop-jumping with equation fitting was a waste of energy and misinformation from my side.
Hi! tried this build but not working for me. Got same items with same affixes. Maybe not perfect, but 4500% crit dmg and around 66% crit chance. My bleed hits are around 20 millions, or MAX 30. I don't know why. :s
Switch bash to 2h weapons, I had it on mace and sword, hitting 18M max , 2h mace, 67M.
@@regisdolci3324 Using 2h. I upgraded my gear with very good 2GA items, but still very low dmg. I think still not enough, need real money gear for that...

@@deezanutta7919 the most I can get the bleed to tick for is 20m. My crit damage is 3.2k, vulnerable about 350. I have all the aspects, including grandfather and shako. I dunno, I'm starting to think that maybe I've used the wrong paragon board. I'm using the Pit variant of the build and wonder if maybe there is an issue where the paragon board for a different variant of this build is showing instead of the correct one!? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My bad this build is insane for me now, I can kill all uber uniques with ease now. Feels good. Fun build. A lot of work into this build and now all bosses melt

Awesome explanation following guides is great but showing when to build what, how to respec because of items you get or what to start and progress with is really needed to be shown like this. TY. Currently have alt at 94 for bash been playing double swing twisters.

@Rob2628 question for you about my last temper: I have 1 roll left on gg amulet GA on counteroffensive, attack speed, and crit chance. I got gutteral yell +2, and my other roll is damage to cc enemies. I'm thinking of leaving damage to cc or rolling on berserking finess and changing Hota over to Wrath ulti if I get damage while berserking roll instead of the others. What do you think I should do? huge thank you for all of this info. I've been following your builds for a bit and can easily say they outclass any other barb builds I've seen. What pit level/ nightmare dungeons can you run with that build?

@@Chill-C I'm using the bash no uber version. Since I'm not pushing for the highest tiers of pit, the bash no uber version works just fine for me. If I feel like I'm struggling with survivability, I just swap CoA for Challenging Shout which seems to be enough for me.
Hi Rob, I was looking through a lot of the CN pit clears and saw many of them were running the rupture build, but they swap out rallying cry for iron skin. Does much change for that variant and if it does could you add that build to the planner? Really appreciate all the work you put into these barb guides, my barb was able to clear pit 105 (which was further than my necro I had been playing since season start at the time) the second it hit 100 because of them!
Hey rob, just finished the whole entire video, first THANK YOU. Second, any considerations for Hardcore chars? seemed like nothing extra for the ironskin starter and both HOTA and bleed were using challenging shout with extended crowd control. I mean Tyreal's might maybe?

Hey Rob! Thank you so much for the video and build! For the Starter set, I remember you mentioning you can use Beserk Ripping in the event you don't have Paingorgers. I noticed you said Elements can be used until you get Paingorgers. I apologize for the question and might be dumb but I am curious as to the benefit of Elements. How does Poison, Shadow, Fire, Cold, etc. factor in? I understand Physical but the other elements are primarily used with Rogue and Sorc. Thank you again for all the build variations! Love your videos! I am just really curious and really want to understand the use of the Elements Aspect in place of Paingorgers.

Man i love ur content. Makes d4 so much more fun. Having a blast on all classes besides druid. Tornado felt awesome until i hit a wall early wall around 100. Gearing my barb atm had issues with boss dmg with bleed build, noticed now i lack berserk dmg and vulnerable 1.10 ratio trying to fix that, thx for insight in the game every season! And i enjoy holy bolt, feels like javazon all over againxD

@rob my problem with the rotation is that is it better to have berserking uptime vs hota buff?? My steel grasp always consume the bash over power. So sometimes I’m thinking if it’s better to just use steel grasp to have better berserking uptime.
Whats the drop rate of uber uniques when farming uber duriel this season? Is it faster to farm that or make new characters to do the iron Wolf questline?

Thanks Rob for a great video. Is not it better to replace Paingorger`s glove in BLEED setup, if they are not so important? You can get another aspect, temperings, Vuln or crit. And AOE is coming from bash cleave and Holy bolts anyway.
