Thank you for this video. Forgive the newb question playing barb for first time. I am still levelling and following the No ubers version on the planner, is everything in that section still good? In skill tree are we still ok to use Furious Whirlwind with 2 handed sword or is that portion also going to be updated? Thanks!
Where is so much of your bleed damage coming from? I know what causes the bleeds but what would you say is making them takeover the health bar so fast?
Maybe im a little dumb. But.. How you get the Critical Strike Damage onto the amulet with temple? :/ Cause isnt a barbarian option

Thank you Rob for staying on-top of the meta for us and updating your builds frequently. A lot of us don't have the time time to fish around for this stuff constantly. I'm not sure why anyone would be upset about the constant changes. I'd rather up-to-date builds than not.
Because people like to keep the strongest stuff hidden for themselves. Just like the helltide bug people were mad that it was being shared.
We get upset because we are trashing perfect items that we had for the “new meta” because the old one didn’t use it
@@shamarwalker746 you shouldn’t trash perfect items tho. If you happen upon an item that’s perfect for the new meta, great! Otherwise there’s no reason to trash your perfect gear. Just play for fun. If you wanna be the best in the game, that’s cool but you’ll have to spend some money since that’s unfortunately what many of the top players are doing

@shamarwalker746 ? Top tier builds will change every single time something untested is tried and shows better results that's how things improve......if you can't handle changing when meta changes you should probably be doing your own builds and not caring about meta.

Good to see I'm not the only 1 without D4 showing up on my Taskbar when I open it but just a blank icon.
My problem continues to be fury generation against bosses. While going through the trash mobs it's the best thing in the world. Just swim through everything with max fury and laugh. But even when I come in at full fury from having just done the rest of the run, if the boss isn't dead in the first 10-15 seconds I run out of fury and I can't get it back. And once the mechanism letting me continue to apply damage stops the cooldowns stop getting shortened, so now my shouts don't come back up, and I lose 20% max life and 40% damage reduction. So now the boss will kill me from hitting me before it will give me enough fury to even begin to spin again. This is for the no Ubers version so no Starless Skies to fix the problem. I want to play WW, it's just so fun. But I cannot fight any boss that doesn't die instantly.

Love your videos rob! Any tips or thoughts on flay barb with leap still being good (sadly bad luck with no doombringer) can do Ubers lvl 200s alone? I am pretty geared up two ga half of my gear thorns no ga tho

Thanks for keeping this build updated. One question I do have though is why use the 'Aspect of Elements' in your gloves over 'Edgemasters'? Aspect of Elements is good if you have multiple elemental damage, but we are only cycling Physical which means that you proc 30% damage increase for 7 seconds out of 21 seconds and then it cycles. With edgemasters, you pretty much have recourse up all the time proccing 20% damage increase permanently, decreasing slightly when we fall below 100%. Is AoE actually the right aspect to use?
For the two handed sword expertise #1 doesn’t that need to be equipped to benefit or get the bleeding damage. And #2 it says it in the text that it only occurs when you kill the enemy.
The reason your lunging strike is proccing bleed is because it’s a slashing weapon and because of your skill board passives. So this is not a bug unless you can test it in a dungeon and it doesn’t occur still.

I have no Ubers and so I'm still on the non uber build. Does this change anything for me?
So I followed the mace advance setup and two things. I’m not really getting fury to even begin to be able to start ww. And in the planer you don’t have the the rally cry aspect where you get fury. So how do you get the initial fury? And secondly my boss dmg is no where near yours or like a quarter of it
That map is still sometimes bugged with long stretches with no monsters. I had one earlier that had 2 packs in the middle and three huge sections with no monsters. It was even worse than before

I switched to the 2h sword expertise after ur first vid on this build just trying different stuff and way better on bosses alot more bleed
On the non uber bleed chest version I guess I still need to have the bleed ww skill point, right?

How do you get the critical strike damage on the Barbarian. I built a rogue and got the Marksman Finesse but it says Rogue only. So how is it listed to be put on the Barbarian?
How do you get that much twisters? I have about 10% of the twisters (no ubers)

Hey man thanks as always for the amazing info. On console navigating or “hovering” over info is not intuitive like a mouse. I can’t believe after 4 seasons I never touched the technique slot and didn’t know it was a separate buff. Thanks ❤

But did you try to attack the dummies in close range with Grandfather so it becomes direct damage instead of range attack? Maybe, the holy bolt from Tyrael isn't counted as direct damage?

Starless gives you an easier time managing your ressource while upping your DPS, tyrael makes your tankier and gives you additional dps so it's up to you.
If I were in your situation I'd get starless first.

rob is they most dedicated d4 creator. Barbs are lucky to have someone to read for them

I found GA cut to the bone amulet and I got lucky with 3 masterworking crit on the passive.

No , just use that its pretty much the same thing for bleed build

Just cleared 130 against the archer but I tried using concussion for more stagger on boss and crowd control on trash. Seemed to help keep a third of them stunned for awhile since have cc duration on gear too.

Love, your videos. Well, I'm using de dust devils build (but with Double Strike) for some time and did many tests on the mecanics. I think your dps has gone up more for hold your two hand mace during the shouts and in the fury generating step this way your "atacking" not using you atack speed but still using your higher base damage(similar to jump). Also, dust devils dont have base luck hit chance... so the vunerable from the ring dont trigger from them.
Can share your built on dw ? I am also using this built but without any Uber ,I can’t get pass pit 70.

I run PIT101 for an hour just now switching between sword and mace. I fly by every pack and monsters bleed all their life way more often when I use sword. I dont have problem with fury so i will keep using sword and hope that Blizzard will fix the bug. Congrat on the German football team anyway Rob.
Thanks Rob. What's the alternative temper for those of us who don't have time to create a rogue, level it up and farm for the temper recipe?
for bleed you need the crit temper. if you have a friend, the rogue is on 55 in about 1 hour if you slow. then only stand in helltide at the boss to get the plan. If you have the plan you are finished.

Also, on the Rogue the temper manual to look for is called "Marksman Finness" but in the planner it says "Berserker Finness", which caused some confusion initially.
Hello Rob, I have one question: On Pit push you have crit strike dmg on your mace and on new - Mace Tyrael you have Fury on kill. What is better? and example: If i have GA vulnerable dmg on mace can it still be used?
Both have crit strike dmg, the difference is that pit push has max life instead of fury on kill. You’ll be fine with either option there. Fury on kill helps the devilish aspect because you generate more fury which creates more dust devils. “After generating 100 fury, your next direct damage creates 2 dust devils that deal X damage to enemies along their path.” I assume that he chose max life on the pith push version because enemies do not die as fast which means the fury generates slower, causing the devilish aspect to be less effective. For your mace, vulnerable damage is fine. I believe you want 10:1 crit strike dmg to vuln dmg so if you have too much vuln dmg, you can reroll the vuln damage to crit strike dmg on other pieces of gear. I did the same thing and it worked out perfectly.
After patch, u can run 101-109 pits ~2 mins with any masterworking weapon. I have 5100 crit damage and 450 vuln, 65% CSC and don't have any troubles to close this levels of the pit in 2 mins (if mobs are spawn and map hasn't idiots structure with deadlocks)

I think the issue with the 2H sword expertise is that it says "20% of *direct damage* which I think means you have to physically hit them, so it won't proc with Tyreals or DD. I could be wrong, could just be a bug.

Funny thing is I use 2h sword expertise instead of axe and get way more bleed bar on pit bosses just try it and see what u think

thats what i did until i got it, it works for farming, but tyraels made the big numbers come in
Afaik Whirlwind scales with Weapon Attack Speed (not gear attack speed), so there should be more Tyraels Procs and Dust Devils from Dust Devil Aspect and the 11% higher dmg of 2H-Mace compared to 2H-Sword shouldn't matter since you hit 11% faster with Sword. What are your thoughts about this?
Bleed bash with skullbreakers aspect hits for crazy physical damage that also stacks bleed, my 30m bleed ticks hit for 200m, because for some reason the damage from skullbreakers can crit, doesn't effect bosses since you can't stun them but you'll roll through elite packs reeeeeeally fast. I did a solo pit 111 and my gear is terrible, I can't survive at all but I stun so much that enemies can't hit me, it's a top teir build still but nobody has mentioned the damage skullbreakers aspect can do, your build will make it look as insane as it really is.
Do you have a Whirlwind leveling guide ? without unique item.
I have shako and tyraels and I can craft one Uber unique. What’s more needed for the build, grandfather or the ring ?
Grandfather. Huge increase in damage.
i also feel like this paragon note is bugged too "get berserking after killing a bleeding enemy for 2sec" i feel like i never get berserking from that or maybe my i just cant see the buff but idk
The paragon board on the planner for the new one is wrong (It goes from Starter board to board 5)

Loving this build! But struggling to find how you are hitting max elemental resistance with just lightning resistance on the pants… anyone else see how to hit cap when you are running the Uber build?

Berserk ripping aspect also says direct damage while berserking and it works.
How can you stay at boss with no movement?

Yes you can, but for the boss at the end of the pit, you will suffer a lot! I have shako and Grandfather!

Hi Rob, would it be worth it specing out of bleed bash for WW to clear content faster? how well does it do in comparison to the bleed bash in the higher end pits? I'm finding bash to be a little on the slow side for farming but don't want to re-temper items and regret it.
I just made the switch and it feels great. But I did find all the items and leveled up a rouge just so I could have an identical set up like Rob does. I’d suggest not selling ur current gear and keep it in ur stash just in case you don’t like WW.

@@sinaaa2 check the notes in the planner...twister glyph is bugged and is not applying the multiplicative part of the glyph, so he switched to disembowel. that paragon setup is for push
Rob if you are playing on console do you think having the upgraded WW is fine? Smashing A is a lot more taxing than it is on Pc.

One thing not mentioned u lose 40% base bleed on whirlwind. I don't have tyrael's.

pretty sure he said if you don't have Tyrael's, and are using Rage of H, then to keep the Furious on WW and use swords still. And SebKrogh, the expertise is what is doing no damage. Not Furious WW.
If goin back to mace. This means we can temper 1 armor slot with + concussion ranks so we can stagger a boss. Idk if i wanna try rerollin any of my current gear for this and brick the gear lol.
Maybe if i come across another 3 GA pair of panties for my Barbie ill try go for concussion instead of crowd control duration (still rockin CC duration on my 2 other slots of glove n boots)
I’m now to barbarian, how do I prevent always being out of fury when I start a dungeon or anything like that? I feel like I need my basic attack to get it up and then after that u don’t run out until I start another dungeon
Late reply. But i put a fury per second enchant on my boots. Helps
you gain a small amount of fury on hit, and your rallying cry also generates fury. So what you do is start near a pack so when you rallying cry, you get enough fury from the shout itself as well as tyrael's bolts hitting and getting you some fury. Then you snowball from there. You can also use fury per second but that's a massive waste of a slot and I would only do it temporarily.

Guys about the 2 hand sword expertise, It's not a bug. It is said that only direct damage produces bleed. Dust devils and Templar's are both indirect

The damage on my Tyrael's might and the dust devil aspect on amulet does not change after swapping from grandfather to mace. why is that?
because did you adjust your skill points and paragon board to maximise mace? Every time you swap out weapons in barbarian you are doing a rebuild because the skills and paragon board have to match what weapon you are using.

You can ad the other uber if you are lucky, but for the grand father you need to swap the executioner glyph..

Why use the Fury on Kill on the Mace? i switched to life and dont feel a difference in Fury generation
I am wondering if Wallop will actually give increased dmg to twisters and tyreals since they are not “skills”. It may only work on the actual WW dmg. Anyone test this?

you need to have a rogue
for me, i feel like "direct damage" is the key phrase here and i think its more likely that berserk ripping is bugged and shouldn't interact with tyraels or tornadoes but idk
Don’t forget that all critical strike damage bonus you get is doubled because of grandfather as well.
