1. Grandfather vs Normal Weapon - GF Calculated by Wu Wang to be less damage than a polearm. Proven by the video 😁 though the damage difference in real life scenario is not as much, it is still quite a bit. Check the equations in the vid 💪
2. Vulnerable : CSD ratio - According to Wu Wang, the best ratio is 0.6:1 meaning you need 600% for 1000% CSD, which increases lineary and thus the more CSD you have, the more vulnerable you need to match it.
❗IMPORTANT❗And for 2000% CSD you would need around 1400% Vuln (0.7:1 ratio) so You might need Vulnerable temper on one of the 2H and masterwork it

3. What gems in armor - Balance it out based on your own experience 💪 Atm I am running full Emeralds for high enough crit strike chance while using Momentum elixir for speedfarms 🥰

5. Rotation - Spam the sh*t out of WW (don't keep it pressed down) 😂 and pop cooldowns whenever up
6. How to get CSD or Vulnerable tempers - You need to make a rogue to temper it there
7. Heavy Handed vs Cut to the Bone - HH boosts our direct damage as well = Dust Devils, Tyrael and, if you use them, Holy Bolts do more damage. Cut to the Bone is PURE bleed damage. But if you use Rupture (can be used over kick to kill the boss before Exploit vulnerable ends in most cases), Heavy Handed is even better, because Cut to the Bone does not work for Rupture.
8. 2h Sword vs 2h Mace for WW with GF - 2H mace was tested and the 15%(x) csd does not benefit gushing wounds, so it is only the 10% increased damage of maces. While 2h sword gives us 30%(x) bleeding damage after killing a bleeding enemy = all the time in the run. So 2H sword outperforms 2H mace 💪

Hmm, i guess i will have to try this one out! Just a tip for planner, ofcourse we would want all of the stats to be GA's, but i think its important to show 1 or 2 in the planner as priority ones. to focus on.

I have a question about the 2h sword, i mean its not possible to cjange it for it for the 2h mace, and u mention its better than the 2h mace
One thing to mention is that the sword mastery for barb is bugged rn so we actually are not getting the bleed we are supposed to be getting. If it gets fixed, I i think GF is still the play because it also pads your health by an extra 2k which is equal to an extra GA health roll. You might eak out like 5% extra damage with polesrms but the papa is just too good to pass up, especially once the bug gets fixed.
Hey mate! If it gets fixed, we are definitely playing GF next season 😁 to be fair, I think we are playing GF no matter what, because the cap to vulnerable makes bleeds less relevant (we are now running upto 150%(x) on Hemo) and thus more damage will come from just the direct damage, thus for sure Grandfather 😁 especially if it also gets fixed. The 30%(x) when killing an enemy is still kinda big, but for sure the difference against dummies would not be that huge. Polearm would still win, by as you said, for a lot of people the extra life is nice. %damage double dipping also fixed in S5 (not that it worked for berserk ripping anyway)

Ok what am I missing? I’m getting 50m bleed ticks when shouts are active. I have 2000 csd and 400 vul. 300% berserk damage. I’m using the polearm and the polearm expertise. What other major damage multipliers am I missing to get this damage up into the nine figures?
Hey mate, extremely low vulnerable! We need at the very least around 1000. Basically the ratio is 0.7:1 vuln:csd if you have around 2000 CSD. So you need to match it idealy with 1400 vulnerable.
@@Lunatallihow do you get the dust devils on the 2h to over 9.6 damage? I have 11/11 rank on that aspect? Is it supposed to be rank 16?
Would this build still be close to the damage you get if I swap out one two handed vulnerable damage for a ga crit damage ?
It’s better to have vulnerable affixes and CSD tempers due to the fact that CSD tempers give way more stats, but it will work just fine 💪🏻

Good video. There was a videos form kingpig that explanaed some of the bleeding from the berserk ripping. Now your forgeting the twohand sword bonus when killing with it ( it works but it only happens killing with the hit). Now the bonus damage from crit damage comes from the ultimate passive gushing wounds. But a 100% x cant compite with a higher base damage of the polearm, the extra doble offensive aspact, the better weapon mastery and the better Gyph.
What if your grandfather has a GA in damage and is fully masterworked into the damage GA? My GF has 151.2% damage and 140 in all stats. How does that compare to a polearm
Thanks mate 😁 yeah, I know. The 30%(x) when killing a bleeding enemy is definitely good and would bring the damage on dummies higher, but still would not match Polearms, because yeah :D as you said, polearm has better everything haha
unfortunately berserk ripping is not double dipping from %damage like other bleeds (Rend, Flay), so it will bring it closer, but won't match it.

Hey pal i am struggling to keep beserking. I start off strong then my bleeds just stop. Any idea what i am doing wrong?
Hey! 😁 in AoE, it should be near impossible to lose as we reset cooldown of shouts through both our bold chieftain and disembowel (when we kill an enemy), this together with relentless aspect basically guarantees 100% berserking. In single target, with the right gear as is shown in the planner, we kill the boss before the berserking from war cry ends. If it takes you longer to kill the boss, you should play the standard version with kick, which guarantees 100% zerking as well as vulnerable against the boss 💪🏻

Are there some builds with zero temper for csd? Every tempering for the „all damage bucket“. Are the numbers in the planner correct for such tests?
the numbers in the planner do not reflect my actual build at all, it is just my wish to get those :D or my damage would be easily "double". Before we got the PTR, there was no way to add CSD tempers into the planner as they did not exist for barbarian. So it might appear empty, but is supposed to be CSD 😁

Make sure to have, preferably, double passive amulet with cttb and HH and also really high crit chance. Mine is at 85% unbuffed. Crit chance is suuuuupr important
Mmm you did this test with grandfather but without dustdevil size on the two 1h swords to reach the cap, am I right? I'm not sure if this kind of test can be considered correct in that case
That is why I also included the calculator for vuln csd ratio and polearm vs grandfather from wu wang :) for sure the gap would be smaller, but it has been tested very thoroughly that GF is less damage than polearm. By quite a bit actually 😁
running this build, could you use rupture instead of kick for juicy aoe bleeds?

I noticed Robs ww bleed doesn't run rupture but everytime i use rupture everything melts.. i love the skill... i could go full rupture (swaping from thorns playstyle) but it's hard to pass up the speed of ww through the pit/mobs... is a full rupture build able to keep up with the speed? If you have a full rupture can you run a tier 100 pit and time it? Cheers bro
Id pove yo see you go through all the various stats and their caps. Example idk the cap on damage while berserking was 300, and dust devils size is capped at 100. Im sure theres other caps like speed etc. Is there any vaps on crit, vuln, etc?
Hey! :) there is cap on attack speed, which is separated into 2 caps, each at 100%. Cap on movement speed is 200%, cap on vulnerable nor crit damage is not in the game atm, but will be in S5 as hemmorhage node will be capped to 45% 🙈

Hey! 😁 it’s either polearm or GF. The rest doesn’t come close. Though you can also use sword if you can’t find either. The 30%(x) after killing a bleeding enemy is still a nice bonus 😁
What about Heavy Handed, that is still good? That increases base damage for bleeding or what? Or is cut the bone better? GG
Both are good, but heavy handed also increases the damage of the direct damage we deal, not just bleeds through gushing wounds. In Flay builds though or if you want to speedrun with WW and rupture, Heavy Handed is better, because HH works for Rupture, Cut to the bone does not work for Rupture. 💪
Hi great video, you're the best on the other hand I have a question you put the ambidextrous glyph, does that mean you put both weapons with one hand on swirl? I don't understand when you're playing with a hat weapon

I have very low damage while zerking because my tempering did not go well so I have a bit more zerking on board, and my items in general are pretty much mediocre, missing a lot of best in slot, so the build can do waaaaay more damage with the right gear 😁

Tbh I already at 300dmg berserking cap still never got higher than 400m bleeding damage plus all of my gear already at max masterwork(well maybe because I'm missing 20+ paragon points due to uncompleted renown progress lmao) appreciate it if u can share the exact same path ...u're the one I've seen so far with the highest bleeding damage in this season 💪

@lunatalli did quick math if we follow youre planer on masterwork and temper crit you will get 8/1 ratio. And advertising websides which are against TOS of blizzard is not that smart. And the calculator and crit / vul ratio is for flay bleed like he wu said 200 times
Blizzard actually lives off of RMT sites. Bots are one of their biggest, if not biggest income in games. Every 3 months they do massive AoE bans to bots, so all the "chinese farmers" have to rebuy the game, which is still worth to them. So both parties benefit. But today was actually my last RMT ad. At least for a while 😁
The planner can still calculate bleed gain, which is the only thing we need to know. Sure it does not take into account that WW build also deals just direct damage, which Flay does not. But for the purpose of maxing out bleeds, it works the same 😁
My planner currently has 1621 CSD (pre-heavy handed) vs 1446 Vuln. That can't be 8/1 😅

Yeah, you need to use polearm 💪🏻 otherwise your glyph like the executioner (increased damage when using polearm) won’t work 😁
hey, can you explain to me the elements aspect on gear? I dont get it how it can works for barb and increase the damage while its not from elements..
hey, elements circle every 7 seconds, so every 7 seconds, we get +30%(x) to physical damage. Basically 15%(x) multiplier 💪
@@Lunatalli there is no info. in aspect that this is physical damage. Its elemental damage for builds like barb with ignite for example. Im wearing this aspect and truly i cant see the difference.

Yes and you need high crit chance to proc more often this guy crit damage was to low to compare grandfather if he has 5500 crit and 60 crit chance he would realize the pit clearing speed is about the same

@verendradialsingh4869 60% crit chance is really low 😅 75% is a minimum for Gushing Wounds and I personally have 92% 😂 TLDR: there is a precise equation at the end and also calculator for bleed ticks and damage in the description. You can insert your data there, GF never wins 💪 though the difference is not 55% like on dummies of course
@tylermilhaupt908 it does, but that does not mean we want to stack it 😁 we actually gain more damage by stacking vulnerable and matching real vulnerable with real CSD. You can use the calculator included 💪 TLDR: CSD is not relevant for your base additive bucket = it does not increase the base damage for berserk ripping = you are multiplying "low" number instead of a big one by using polearms (several separate general multipliers outperform one multiplier for crit only) and enough vulnerable
Luna is out of gold - classic)) WW build is actually good for PVP. But you have to adjust it ofc. Ofc Polearm is better mate. No doubs about that. And try to test polearm weap expertise. U need those 15% multi with polearm and those LH multi to apply vuln more often. And yeah elements is good but try Edgemaster. It can be good too

can u elaborate how edgemaster is even considered? cause you do 0 damage thru your skills, does the "skills deal up to (10-20)% increased damage based on your available Primary Resource" apply to bleeds and dust devils aswell?
@@4372222 we do need it, but we shouldn’t just go all in. Something like 1:10 ratio does not exist 😅 we need tons of vulnerable 💪🏻 but crit strike damage doesn’t affect berserk ripping (only gushing wounds) while vulnerable does. So basically the easiest thing to do is get all GA vulnerable affixes on items and then temper CSD 😁

Relentless berserk 💪 with war cry is more than enough 😁 plus you can use kick to get berserk through battle fervor if yu play kick variant

It's probably not even better for WW tbh
If Bash could use Polearms, then very likely yes. But Bash requires bludgeoning weapon to be used, so we lose all the multies from Polearm. So Bash is definitely one of the builds benefitting from GF.
300% berserking is must have in this build?
That is kinda mandatory in every barb build, but don’t worry if you can’t reach it. You can move some points in the board for a bit more zerking. I also have only 280% 😁
Bro I don’t know who did your math but CritD buffs gushing wounds . And yeah u might be doing more bleed dmg only while beserking anyway . I just tried it I loved the idea of having an extra aspect but I don’t think it’s out performing GF on a 2 mins run 101 pit
CSD does but gushing wounds, but only that. While vulnerable is double dipping and is both relevant in our additive bucket (CSD is not) and then turns into multi through Hemorrhage. Very simplified answer: zero multiplied by zero is still zero. You need that additive bucket to be turned from poop to gold before trying to multiply it 😂 we are berserking at all times, this is 100% uptime build 💪 my record is 73 seconds, can probably go lower, like around 60 seconds in 101 pit, but would have to fish for shrines and good layout :D so yeah, the avarage is 80 seconds for me wth this build.
Grandfather hits 1.2b shown by rob if you watch his new ww video. To each their own.
@@MangoHero247 all that means is that if Rob used polearm, he’d be hitting 1.5b+ 😁 math does not lie 😂 use the calculator included to see for yourself 😁 also make sure you watch whether Rob is using actual in game setup. Most of his vs dummies intros are made with different aspects and everything.

My stats are 80.9% crit chance, 2,162% crit dmg, 1,002% vuln dmg, 298% dgm while berserking. And im only at 200m damage on bleed?

@marvinsantos2511 I do have a bit more CSD and crit chance, but other than that, the stats seem good 😁 200M against the boss in 101? Or against dummies. Because against the bosses in lower pits, 200 bleed is around the maximum I reach myself, because they die in 1-2 seconds 😂 can’t stack it further

@@felipechahuan6929 I did find the problem, it's a bug obviously when he's hitting the dummy. The dmg outcome is totally based on the calculation sheet where you put your vul dmg and crit dmg to see your actual bleed dmg outcome

Can be a lot of stuff really 😁 against a boss in 101 you can’t even hit more than 200m bleed, it will die in 2 seconds with that amount 😂 make sure to check your expertise is 2H axe, your weapon for skills is polearm, make sure you have 300% zerking, 1000%+ vulnerable and 2000%+ CSD. That your crit is at the very least 75% but preferably close to 85%. Make sure you have your war cry ready before boss fight starts (don’t waste it on the last pack), spam click whirlwind and NEVER have it just pressed (a good 60% dps loss), masterwork on the right stats etc etc. 💪🏻
You are doing whirlwind with GF set on ww skill. You need to set 2H Mace.
2H mace passive was tested to do 0 damage increase for Gushing Wounds ^^ so it just boosts the non-bleed damage. GF and 2H sword passive gives you 30%(x) bleed when a bleeding enemy dies = it is better than 2H mace 💪 for bleed builds that is

so 2h mace is doing better + u have a higher weapon damage which scales better since the sword has higher attack speed which we cant use sicne we stutter step =)
I thought it’s just bugged with tyraels might because the bolts should do the „20% of direct damage you deal is inflicted as Bleeding damage over 5 seconds“ and it doesnt. When you hit directly, you see the 20% bleeding damage

That is true, but it is a very small additive 😁 I would say in real life scenario GF is around 20%-30% damage less. Definitely not 55% like in the video. Still a DPS loss none the less

Not to mention if you properly stack crit dam for GF set of gear. I think your gear is optimized for polearm set so you just swap out the weapon and think its an indicative that its so much better lol

If it’s 200M vs 101 pit boss, then that is what I do as well 💪🏻 that is the 1-2 second kill 😂 can’t stack it higher
Casual build. 3 uber uniques. Got like 200 hours in season 4 not a single uber drop. Not a casual build unless you craft them.
That is weird. Nothing easier than getting Ubers this season. Just farm tormented zir. You get 3-5 Ubers per 10 rotas. Plus of course the free Ubers for finishing the story line etc.
You need to compare this with normal 2h swords and not uniques which cant equip op aspects. Using lengendary sword and polearm you will get 5 % dmg difference and not 3 times more dmg like in the vid

I dont know what am i missing, but cant hit more than 20 million with bleeding :( 1900 CSD / 800 Vul , 288 berserk
There can be insane number of factors, why the damage is low, so it is hard to answer. But TLDR: bleeds are the most scaling abilities, thus every little helps. I went from 16B rupture on my flay barbarian to 140B with basically just masterworking and 1-2 new items, which had vulnerable over CSD. That is how big of a difference stats can make on bleeds.
My WW has 2400+ CSD and 1100 vuln. Also 85% crit chance which is massive for dps due to gushing wounds and a must have stat.
Also make sure your WW is set to use polearm, sometimes people have it set for dual wield or mace 💪🏻

For pushing I play Flay 😁 with this build so far I only tried speed farming T114s, which were 90-120 seconds
I pushed 130 with Grandfather. It's better than PA with high Crit Dmg and Chance.

Kick is also extremely pointless. I find i never used it once during this build
if you are not playing kick, you waste affixes for "chance to make enemies vulnerable" and your uptime on vulnerable as well as 100% berserking uptime on bosses is lower 😁 it also has quicker animation than steel grasp. If you are not using either, you are never speedfarming 120s, because you won't be able to kill the boss 💪

Can we normalize not using d4 planner and using d4builds. Builds is way easier to read/understand. Your maxroll has like 10 swords a bunch of different items instead of best in slot and what we should be looking for.
Best in slot is what is equipped on the character 😁 the swords etc on the side are irrelevant. I just keep reforging old builds to save myself some time and thus often there is a lot of different items 😁

You can test grandfather with low crit bro why not get 5000 plus crit damage 60 plus crit chance and then put to the test
60 crit chance is extremely low. Aim for at least 75-80%. You can have 10.000 CSD and with 50-60% crit chance it is still worse 😅 use the calculator included and you will have the answer through sheer math 💪
@@Lunatalli I made an error meant to say you can't test grandfather with low CC and Cd I gave the minimum to test and yes you will be better with higher rolls but my build is 65 cc and only 3535 CSD doing 101 in 1:17 to 1:30 mins
@@verendradialsingh4869 it does not get much faster to be honest. Once you do as much damage as me, everything dies in one hit so like ... can't hit more than one hit 😂 I have 59 sec fastest and could likely do 55 or maybe even little less, but it is all about good layout and taking the right turns if you want to go lower.
@@Lunatalli I don't see any impact from crit chance on the bleed ticks. If its all about the ticks, then crit chance secondary if I am not missing anything. Cheers
@@eigelstein25 crit chance doesn’t increase tick damage, but it increases frequency of gushing wounds, which skyrockets our bleeds, as well as just direct damage crits from twisters and tyrael 😁
once u reach 6000% crit dmg and 710% vul dmg and 2k str and 75% crit chance u pretty much melt the boss of 105 pit in 2 seconds + rupture. u should really show the actual pit runs instead of dummy tests. go try kill the 111 pit boss ad see, can u kill him without using warcry 2 times? i guess u can't even if u get decent items and use the polearm. but if i'm wrong, with what u think u've shown, u should be able to kill 111 pit boss using warcry just 1 time
There is a gameplay of this build on my channel 💪🏻 though only farming 101s which is what people are interested in. Once I am back home in around a week, I can go smack some higher pits 😁
@@Lunatalli i'll have a look, but yeah for 101s solo the polearm build is cool, i personally prefer gf cuz i can still farm 101s in 1 minute on lucky maps and sometimes i get tired of 101s and i really like 111s in less than 2 minutes too. polearm play is too squishy as u must drop iron skin. so curious to see if u make it work on 111s too. i have kind of crazy gear for gf build so sometimes i manage to kill 111 boss with 1 warcry only: main stats are 28k life, 2000 str, 85% crit chance, 6291.3% crit dmg, 709.4% vul, all res 79.7, dmg while berserking 296.7% (enough to get 30% bonus from legendary node), dmg with bludgeoning 30%, dmg vs bleeding 25%

That would be a really bad build if it only did 10m ahaha, we do that at level "50" 😂 you can see the DPS highlighted on the thumbnail :) bleeds are the white ticking numbers (you can also see them ticking after I stop hitting the dummies). 💪
Mid tier build shouldve never swapped from rob
if you do not know how to min max this properly, then it might look weaker. (wrong vulnerable ratios, not reaching breakpoints for CSC, using attackspeed items etc.) Though it was tested thoroughly by the chinese community (check the calculator as well as polearm vs grandfather equation) and GF loses every single time 😁 and the asian boys are hitting for 2billion with 2-3 GA items like rob uses (while I use 0 or 1 ga) math does not lie 😂
