You guys prefer Naked Princess or Crazy J? 👀

It's hard to pick which one I think is better, but I think Crazy-J is a little catchier to me but I like Miko's vocals in Naked Princess more but she has better facial expressions in Crazy-J. I want to support them more but at this point we are all just waiting for them to release an album.

Crazy J is their "flagship" song I'd say, but "Naked Princess" ranks a bit higher for me, if only because in the live version they have a great dance section in the beginning, and more sections allowing the crowd to join in together, which makes it quite fun

I actually like Si Si the best of their songs (not sure if that is the actual name of the song, that's what we were calling it when it came out), it's happy sounding, has cute choreo, and some guitar sweep picking solos. All good stuff. Crazy J is probably their most popular though.

My favorite is "Si Si" or whatever the title is. Live with the Kami band: ruclips.net/video/7l2JUPkZ04g/видео.html (starts at 5 min 29 seconds)

Miko Todaka is a star in the making.
I really hope she finds her niche.
METALVERSE have performed with backing tracks and with a live band.
They've had both BABYMETAL's Western Kami Band members and Asterism supporting them.
Sakia Kimura and Kokona Kato have been supporting dancers from the beginning.
Yume Nozaki has left the group, and Amuse, Inc. to concentrate on her studies.
Miki Yagi is still with Amuse, Inc., but is focusing on her acting career now.
That's kind of a shame, because she seemed to be really enjoying performing with the group.

I really like the vibes of both of their songs, and the synchronised curtsy kick in this song is a really cool and new move to me :)

Nice! I’m definitely holding out to see how Metalverse develops.
    However:
1). Crazy J and this song is amazing.
2). Miko is an absolutely amazing vocalist. ALMOST rivaling Su. She got a bit more of that sultry vibe vs Su’s straight power.
3). It’s tough to ride that Babmetal brand, without being a carbon copy, which will piss off a lot of fans. I think Koba has done a good job thus far to make them unique enough to be their own thing, which is leaning heavier to pop.
Time will tell, but I may very well end up being a big fan at their current direction!
    🤘🦊

She's definitely not rivaling Su. Look at their Karates when played back to back. She's a very good don't get me wrong but as we saw in that live Su is on another level.

    • @Ganimal83
      @Ganimal83 3 месяца назад

@@jhorse6968 Su is on a whole other level, especially with a decade+ of experience on stage over Miko. But, she is very very good, and one of the only singers where I felt she can “almost” rival Su, or at least have the potential to given time and experience to develop her talent.

Hello! 😊🤘 It makes me happy that you reacted to Naked Princess, looking through the comments I could see that no one posted the most striking fact about this group... 🧐🧐
Metalverse actually has about 8 songs, but only 2 are official on their RUclips channel, which particular about this is that the 8 songs are MV's own and were presented during a show in February, to date MV has not published anything about the other 6 songs that are missing and this is one of the reasons why we fans are somewhat doubtful about the true future of Metalverse. 😟😟

I think it sounds like Big Band era, which is still in the swing ballpark. I do like them, they're still finding their feet really. Miko is amazing. I agree she's got a future for sure.

metalverse is a promising band, they've good songs (saddly they aren't on spotify). But the core concept of being a different band on the Babymetal universe is amazing and ultil now they proved their value. it's understandable that not everyone likes their music but the same happens with babymetal, and it's just the person's personal taste

The thing is that METALVERSE is not a group, but a phenomenon. It recently appeared in FOX_FEST. They say that because it is a phenomenon, the same thing, such as members or organisation, will never happen twice... for now.😂😁😇

Some people dislike #METALVERSE without reason, they are a young group... the first appearence was in january of 2023, and the first oficial performance as METALVERSE was in AUGUST 2023. So, they are just starting, MikoMetal (Miko Todaka) is one of the best singers of SAKURA GAKUIN project together with SuMetal, and the level of the dancers (Sakia Kimura and Kokona Kato) is just a little bit under the level of BABYMETAL. The girls are great artists, just need more time to refine their habilities and the support of more fandom. #SakiaMetal #MikoMetal #KokoMetal #METALVERSE #OnlyTheBearGodKnows greetings!!

the naked princess lyrics, basically, are 'the clothes don't make the man' or in this case the girl, it's the soul, dignity, etc. kind of like Lady Godiva-ish.

I’m going to say what I think, and I’ll probably earn the hatred of the entire Babymetal community (of which I am a huge fan), but I feel that Metalverse, especially because of Miko, has the potential to perhaps surpass BM in 10 years. I’ve been on this train since the beginning and I’m willing to crash with it. 🤣🤣🤣

WHAT?! Brb, lemme find my pitchfork… 🤣
Well, potential, yes. But with Babymetal’s current intensity in how they are progressing, it’ll be tough to say. Then again, maybe the BM gals wanna chill out in ~10 years in their early/mid 30s for family and/or other ventures.
Metalverse will be similar in age to today’s BM by that time, so it can be their time.
But, I much rather we keep that training rolling for a good long while, before any crashing. But hey, if that comes to, I’ll be next to ya singing “Whoaa-aaah!” until the end. 🤣🤘🦊

@@Ganimal83 hahaha I know that my statement makes the fox god cry, but if you think about it babymetal during these 14 years was building and preparing a land where it could plant its seeds, grow and be accepted in the industry (that is why today and from now on We will have the best version of BM) and once they achieved it, these girls appeared, occupied their portion of the plot, planted their product and today their only task is to make the right decisions. At the moment they are only roots.

Miko is star material, no doubt.
However, BABYMETAL grew up in the metal ecosystem, and were able to tour with a lot of well known groups, and appear at many metal festivals over the years.
That's how they were able to build their name recognition and demonstrate their talent to other bands and promoters.
METALVERSE doesn't have that same foundation.
It will be interesting to see how they try to grow their fan base.

I think that Metalverse music beeing less "metal" compared to Babymetal maaaybe makes sense with the lore. I mean, we have in the Marvel Multiverse (HQ), for example, a lot of Spiderman versions, and some of then are soooo different compared to the Original Peter Parker. Maybe this could be applied in this case hauahsuahsh

I got see Metalverse live for the first time at FOX_FEST, and my big take away was that it confirmed what I kind of already knew after seeing them perform with Babymetal at the two shows last year - Miko Todaka is going to be a star very soon. However, I kind of feel like Metalverse is wasting her talents.
After watching the live performance with Asterism at FOX_FEST, I couldn't help but think that the winning move might be to put Miko as the front woman of Asterism. Asterism are incredible musicians, but they don't have a vocalist, and Miko would benefit from having a band of skilled musicians behind her, so it would be win-win.

I just don't understand why they have to ride on BM's skirts. Miko seems to be talented enough to rise on her own without need BM to boost her. The whole thing just feels off and odd. I think with the right songs, Miko could be the next LiSA.
