I really like the large expansions bungie does. Before it’s always “protect the traveler because we need that power”
Now we have darkness powers, our traveler tried to leave, and now it’s fighting for itself (maybe)
its always been fighting for itself, its only giving us powers because we can protect it
It didn't really try to leave at the end of this season. Most likely it got into position to fight
Honestly, the traveler probably has nowhere else to run to and has to fight.

The Witness splits Guardians into pieces.

Where did you see the beam burning a hole through a ship? I saw it make red plantlife grow on a ship.

Now see, THIS was the tone I was originally expecting from Lightfall. All the original marketing and discussion from the devs gave it a far more.... rainbow neon vibe that really didn't seem appropriate for "It's the end of everything as we know it"

I thought the significance of Neomuna was essentially stopping the Black Fleet from establishing a foothold in the system. Seeing the Pyramids right on earths doorstep was unexpected. I’m hyped
I think we're going to Neomuna to secure the veil before Calus can get to it. Rasputin mentioned it being on Neomuna.
I'm pretty sure we lose and the witness gets what it wants, and the final shape is about stopping the witness' plan from coming to fruition, whatever it is.

The spaceship battle cutscenes look good, it’s a shame we don’t have actual spaceship battles, would be cool.
yeah that would be really cool and there would be huge multicrew ships with turrets, a crafting system, oh and a huge sling shot that would be used to launch our gardians to other ships. Lets call it a Lightjack...Wait.

Bro as someone who’s been playing this game regularly other than the last month there no way they’re ever going to add ship combat lol. They haven’t even brought back sparrow racing from D1. Just gotta wait for starfield to have triple A space ship battles. pray that game isn’t a disaster but it’s Bethesda so it’s most likely going to be extremely scuffed on launch

So, the plug line all along has been when light falls, when we fall, etc. Yet the final line of the meh song for the meh trailer is 'when you mess with us,' ah, ok. Hope it ends up being better than everything we've been shown and heard from early reviews, which is that its really basic and mediocre at best.
