Please where did u see the dataset
Sir sometimes if the date column of your data table is connected with the Date column of the dimension table, that time the date column of your data table will not show hierarchy. But once we delete the relationship, it will show the hierarchy again.
possibly the date format issue in one of the two tables I suspect.

Hello sir, is the dataset already cleaned and transformed? I see no n/a values in "data view", however, I could see n/a values while loading the dataset and in the power query editor. please guide me, why is it so?

Good afternoon Abhishek, I am a bit confused, the Microsoft documentation says "Dashboards are a feature of the Power BI service. They're not available in Power BI Desktop." But I see that you work with Power BI Desktop. Is the documentation not correct?
This is definitely not the case as we can create dashboard in Desktop. Power BI Service is an online cloud version where you have similar functionalities or more depend on license type.
A single value for column 'Order Date' in table 'Sheet1' cannot be determined. This can happen when a measure formula refers to a column that contains many values without specifying an aggregation such as min, max, count, or sum to get a single result.......Do I need to create a table or field?
Looks like you are trying to measure but not applying the right aggregation function OR you actually need to create field but rather creating measure.

Hi sir, While working with the slicer there is a "blank" listed in the dropdown. I checked the order month column and tried unselecting the "blank" in model view but the slicer is not updating. could you please explain this?
it comes due to the blank values so either we treat the blank values i.e. fill them will expected values or remove them as part of page filter, would remove it from slicer.

What is the hight and witdth that you use
It depends on situation. Some time standard power bi default and sometimes based on the no. of components that I need to show.

Sorry didn't understand your question. Can you please elaborate little bit more?
In this dataset, the sales column is of type "text". How did you changed that? Please sent me the transformation link.
Simply go to power query and replace $ with blank value i.e. don't specify anything in replace with option and it will covert the value in numeric.

You can by using the button. After adding button you need to set the action in properties and the action will be page navigation where you'll select the detail page.

09:56 you don't explain the step clearly how you create the "Order Month"
I replay it so many times, but still don't understand how to create that because you don't actually demonstrate how to make it
So after creating the order month field, select the field and then change the formatting to YYYY-MMM from the drop down menu and you should be able to get it.

This is my question too. I downloaded PowerBI_SuperstoreSales - with missing data.xlsx from the folder you set the link for, but it has only one sheet. When I open it in Power Query, it creates one query named Sheet1, but you have some other queries or objects in your Fields section in the video.
How should I get those before I start watching the vidoe?
