Santa Rosa County Florida Erosion May 26, 2020 Cambria Neighborhood

Really bad erosion after all the heavy rains this past week. Gotten to the point where this house may be compromised. It seems Santa Rosa county workers are brining in heavy equipment to try and fix this and hopefully save the house. I feel so bad for whoever owns this home, I know I'd be worried sick. I saw that neighborhood was built in record time as it's next to my neighborhood. They were trucking in lots of dirt to get everything leveled out, and doesn't seem like they accounted for too much rain, possibly pipes coming undone underground causing infiltration and just didn't pack it down well. Domino effect from there. I was told it started pretty small about a week ago, it should have been worked on earlier! I don't know how it will be fixed, but I think they need to pile in some retaining steel sections like they use for bridges and really shore this up. The whole back row of homes in both neighborhoods is on a hill like this and you can see the start of erosion, not shown in this video.
