Don’t care if it’s the Abrahamic religions (slave master god) or an African one. If our beliefs are not grounded in evidence and the natural world, there is no real point.
@@amaradominique no it’s not. It’s an Abrahamic religion. Doesn’t matter where it is, it’s not based on reality if you think people can rise from the dead and the god drowned the entire world.
I always tell my fellow Africans that one prayer at the beginning of the year should be enough for the rest of the year, if it doesn’t suffice, that means we worship. “ god” that doesn’t recognize us.
The christian church/religion (of any denomination) is not native to Africans and I'm happy to see that more Africans are waking up to the fact that Spirituality is completely independent of religion. • In my opinion, christianity was one of the tools used to subjugate Africans pre, during and post - colonialism. The Book of Amos shows us how to respond to it. Too bad the majority of churches don't, and therefore will not attend the needs of the community that white supremacy affects Our church is called New Hope, and that is what we teach.
People are not in the right church. My pastor prepares us to fight. Pastor Drurby.
What is the right church?
What Church does he pastor? I've heard of Darby, but he's gone & he was good.
Hahahaha. Keep believing in your pastor.
EVERY CHRISTIAN'S, BELIEVE THAT THEY'RE IN THE RIGHT CHURCH UNTIL SOMETHING BAD HAPPENED
Church does not benefit black people!
Gurl u are funny I got the Mexicans watching y'all at work and everything 😂
Black religion tells us to vote Democrat, and lots of singing and emotionalism. Spectacle, and show business.
I agree!
Before a school, garden or bank, should we be taught how to control our overcharged emotions?
What do you mean? Give an example.
@@muragegitari6052 church services are generally full of emotions
Keep up the Great Content.
Amen!❤️🙏🏽
Well stated. I couldn't agree more.if we only knew the systems that are holding us back we would be better off as Africans.thats not to say that religion is bad per say,but its also got to economically empower its worshipers, and not only take from them the little that they have
Excellent commentary!!!
He's right!
God gave us spiritually, man gave us religion. Choose wisely
Also, not everybody that’s spiritual operate in the light.
What Dr. Umar said, is *_exactly_* what woke me up to Christianity, religion, churches & bibles & made me become a Atheist.
Where are the institutions for the people provided by the church......
Anything that we got from salvages should be discarded!
You’re 100% right!!
I concur!
What we need to do is get to know the truth religions are not ours we were forced to follow our colonizers and eventually those born afterwards follow their parents believes and I think it's high time we go back to our spiritual path because we were spiritual beings not religious.
💯. Spirituality is not a religion, spirituality is your reality if you understand it
You are absolutely correct!B1🖤🖤🖤
Same in Jamaica,
Makes total sense 👏
Speech without backing in action is dead. We are live and our essence is Living not dying
I love learning from intelligent African women and men. We're starting to have meaningful dialogue . In terms of Africans and African Americans discussing each other's problems. It's like distant relatives . Starting to open up with each other again. I love it!
Yes Sista ❤❤
Dr. Umar's UNOPENED school is a let down too. 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
Love has gone cold
True dat. In MANY hearts
He's Right.....
You Bet Not Go To Church
And Asked For Help With
Your Light Bill....
You Would Be Talked About
For A Whole Month
In That Church...
I Have Seen It Done Myself🔥
You are glowing sis, happiness is written all over you, simply beautiful, love from America,P.S. let your husband know i mean no disrespect - love from your African brothern❤❤
Today was embarrassing at the massacre site in SC.
I agree with the doctor on this one he is right I grew up in church born and raised that I seen a lot of stuff and I heard a lot of conversations to go went on
Brilliant points....plus arab occupation of North Akebulan....
It's not only black people everybody
Two degenerate human beings above me smh hope ya'll real ones understand that
Community Garden he said the same exact thing I say about city structure all the time
It’s fine being spiritual but any religion that’s not grounded in reality is a problem. If people are conditioned to believe nonsense, they are easy to manipulate. Don’t care if it’s the Abrahamic religions (slave master god) or an African one. If our beliefs are not grounded in evidence and the natural world, there is no real point.
Oh snap! 😯
Nicely said
Well westernized Christianity is based on reality.
@@amaradominique no it’s not. It’s an Abrahamic religion. Doesn’t matter where it is, it’s not based on reality if you think people can rise from the dead and the god drowned the entire world.
@amaradominique christ followed the holy days in the bible churches follow every pagan day but rejects holy days christ followed 😂😂
I always tell my fellow Africans that one prayer at the beginning of the year should be enough for the rest of the year, if it doesn’t suffice, that means we worship. “ god” that doesn’t recognize us.
😂 funny you said that
Why the pastors also tells them that they should pray without season
You should hear Middle Nation with Shahid King Bolsen . . .he is relentless and ruthless!
The christian church/religion (of any denomination) is not native to Africans and I'm happy to see that more Africans are waking up to the fact that Spirituality is completely independent of religion.
• In my opinion, christianity was one of the tools used to subjugate Africans pre, during and post - colonialism. Religion is holding Africa back on the global front and I believe Nigerians are the MOST religious group of people I've ever met (I'm one).

what do you make of the ancientest black churches-the Ethiopian, Coptic and Nubian Chrstian churches? If the good doctor has complaints about hte state of the church then why doesn't he help be the change for our churches. News flash, Black folk will nt give up God or our faith, remember, it wasn't atheist or non-Christian Black folks who got us through and out of slavery. What is the realistic replacement? Crickets. Fix the boat, don't abandon it.
I agree. It teaches them to rely solely on hope, as an excuse not to compete, defend oneself, and problem solve. Verses like "turn the other cheek, Seventy times Seven, and forgiveness have blkppl taking all kinds of disrespect
Coincidently, Nigerians have become one of the most affluent of all ethnicities from the African continent. So The Church hasn't been so bad for them.
Further, what religion were the Africans that sold us off to the European slave traders? You have no knowledge. African people come to America and look down on American born blacks. Your hypocrites.
@@juliansevin9109The Christian church has nothing to do with their success.
Also, in IUIC, leadership will answer any questions that you have look us up get in touch whatever questions you have they will answer unlike the passes and all these churches who are just tell you go pray on it
Where's the school Umar? Simple question; where's the school?
WE GO TO CHURCH TO LEARN ABOUT PEOPLE OTHER THAN OURSELVES.
I go to worship Jesus corporately with other brothers and sisters in the Lord. 🙏🏾

I agree 100%
She's right about Islam!
He's 100 on this one! In addition, you would think with all the churches he have in our neighborhood we wouldn't have as much violence and be a much happier people! We have million dollar churches in a nickle and dime neighborhood!
When did slave's or the descendants of slave's (Revise) that slave making teachings and / or religion called Christianity that was forced and taught to them on the plantations by their master's?
I love that this conversation has been started. However, I wonder if we are not starting beyond where we should. Should we not start with "Is it True". Once we get beyond that question, then it will be easier to have this conversation. If we don't, we will continue to spin our wheels about its utility, fellowship, resources, and feed into providing ourselves dishonesty and false comfort.

Smart Lady 👍
About 70-100 years past time to get out of church and religion as a whole.
Amen
Completely agree.. they don’t even have singles miniseries anymore bc of other people egos and profit from single women.. so we keep single people single. We should be making families. What better way to meet a spouse than at church.
