Underrated part about drugstore shampoo is that you can actually afford to test different things and figure what works for you out without refinancing your home. Worst lie I’ve ever believed in was that I needed to have an exspensive brand shampoo to take care of my hair
Yes! Also once I’ve spent £25+ on a bottle of shampoo or hair product I’m basically forced to use all of it even if I don’t like it because I don’t want to waste money. You can’t even resell it or donate it like you can with expensive clothes or bags.
I swear it's so funny how you truly DO "influence" me. I've followed you for at least a couple of years, and I've realized that ANYTHING you say is good, I'm GONNA GET IT! lol. Thank you for doing all the hard work you do to help us throughout our hair/makeup/skin struggles. I know that you continue your education on hair chemistry, and I also know that you do that so you can teach us! Thank you so very much!
I just bought and tried the Loreal Glossing Shampoo & Conditioner, along with the bond stengthener treatment and so far I am LOVING them! I was so shocked by th3 immediate results, especially with the bond strengthener 😍
I think it really depends on the person. I tried out Olaplex and my hair HATED it. The cheap garnier sleek & shine is the only thing my hair tolerates lol
The shampoo they showed in this Tik tok (suave Moroccan oil) is actually amazing for dry and frizzy hair. It’s not overly hydrating but it smooths so well! I normally hate suave products but this one is gold.
Agreed! I use it and it really helps smooth and shine my naturally frizzy hair. I also use a clarifying shampoo every once in awhile to prevent buildup and it works out great.
Mane and tail products have been awesome for me. Fine hair and wavy. Hair is super soft, not frizzy anymore, and my shower hair loss is 10% of what it used to be.
2 weeks ago my hair breakage was so bad it was breaking off in clumps and I was SCARED to wash it. I don’t know how I stumbled across you but ive been taking your advice and recommendations and my hair ALREADY feels healthier and isn’t breaking/falling out as much
I spent years and hundreds of euros on high end hair products, the whole olaplex line, redken, kerastase, moroccan oil, you name it. This summer I was on vacation and I ran out of shampoo, so I bought the elvive extraordinary oil shampoo and conditioner, my hair never felt this silky and smooth and not heavy at all, I'm so happy.
I've been following the curly girl method *for years* but my hair never looked as good as when I was using extraordinary oil, I'm so tempted to throw out all my cgm approved bottles and go back to good ol' elvive 😭
@@lameasf I was strict cgm for two years and it literally almost ruined my hair. I went back to using sulphates and silicones and I swear to you, my hair is the healthiest it’s ever been. The only styler I need is mousse and It has grown like crazy this past year.
Since everything is marketed as silicone and sulfate free now because it's the trendy thing, could you recommend drugstore options that DO have silicones and/or sulfates?
The L’Oréal ever pure line she showed makes a thinning hair shampoo and conditioner and I LOVEEE it. Been using it for years and it’s the only thing that makes my hair feel good and helps with hair fall. They have really good online reviews too 😊
I swear you showed thee EXACT ones in my shower right now. Love the clay shampoo & the newer hyaluronic acid conditioner . It smells really good too. Hoping they never discontinue them..
@@kirstenflood5404 I personally never used k18 but loads of people praise it as being amazing, especially if you have damaged hair. You can even use it without conditioner.
@@wasabi4790 I use it as a clarifying shampoo once a week or so. My hair type is wavy but I pretty much treat it as curly so I add a bunch of products after shower (curl cream, leave-in, gel etc) to maintain the moisture throughout between washes. I noticed that Clay seems to do a pretty good job at stripping your hair of buildups, even if you use something like a prepoo treatment.
I just started using the ever pure recently again- I used to use it or something similar many years ago and my hair was so long and healthy! I’ve been using salon products for years and my hair looks worse now! I started using oil on the length and ends of my hair before shampooing- thanks I love your videos!
The big pump bottles of Pantene (sulfate free- the bottle with flowers on them) from Costco are incredible for my hair and my daughters’. Best I’ve used in 40 years.
Shampoo and conditioner, they won't help hair grow or stop shedding as your hair grows from under your scalp and even ingredients won't penetrate like topical minoxidil would.
I would love for you to try LIVE CLEAN. I use the CLEAN AIR Weightless Volume one, smells AMAZING but it's Canadian and I just want to know what people think!
PLEASE PLEASE do the love and planet hair line!!!!! I love the pink one for its smell its soooooo good and soooo long lasting!! But I jus don't kno if it's actually doing anything to/for my hair if that makes sense, I jus wanna know if it's a good everyday shampoo and conditioner ,like moisturizing, ph balancing etc OH and also try the nexxus hair line ! I've been thinking about trying the pure clean one but kinda iffy about it still , Thanks!! ❤
Ooo I see I landed on the good one I need without realising. Ive been using the elvive clay one for years now, its the only one Ive tried that doesnt make my hair feel stripped
I’ve fallen in love with having vibrant colored hair. I’d used the bond repair for a while, but I think it’s stripping the color faster. Is there something you’d recommend for vibrant color treated hair.
I used to use the Pantene sheer volume shampoo and it made my hair feel soft, shiny, smooth, lots of volume, everything you want in a shampoo but every time I used it my scalp was extremely oily the next morning(I shower at night.)
Love your videos!! You said the L’oreal Elvive rebalancing shampoo was a good clarifying shampoo for dry scalp? Is that correct? Bottle reads oily roots?
Hey Abbie, firstly I’ve started following your advice for my coloured damaged hair and I’m starting to see improvements, so thank you 🤩secondly do you have any experience/thoughts on this product, Color Wow's kale-infused leave-in treatment, which they say is ‘clinically-proven to make hair 50% stronger in a single blow dry; reduces breakage, repairs split ends and contains heat protectant’
Abby i have been watching you for years and have always enjoyed watching you but i gotta say. I love these shorts. They are so helpful without having to watch a 20 minute video for info. Don't get me wrong i enjoy both but yeah. Shorts make it super easy.
The instant oily. I get ONE extra day trying thw blow dry drying. Just got diagnosed with eczema. The scalp itches but hair gets super greasy. I wash 2x/wk Ty so much!
I actually love suave biotin and the morrocan conditioner. Its my best combo! But thats specific for my hair type. Altho….. i have put a few friends on it
Please give your opinion on MAUI. I love that Aloe Vera is the first ingredient listed. My hair is so thirsty and dull and can't hold any shine at all.
The Kristin Ellis clarifying shampoo made my hair to fall out, I have bald patches all over my scalp. I read other reviews and the Same thing have happened to a lot of people. I’m glad it didn’t happen to you as well.
I get that silicone and sulfate free are trends, but in my opinion, it’s also for good reason. When I used to use regular drugstore shampoo, my hair went dull and limp super fast. It doesn’t do that as much with the sulfate and silicone free products.
Suave is my favorite! Really inexpensive and gives me great results! I wash my hair once a week ans that’s what works best for me/my hair type and I use Suave Daily Clairfying shampoo and Suave Smooth Performer conditioner and I finish with the OGX extra strength coconut miracle oil. Dove shampoo. I used to use it and got more compliments on my hair than I do using Kevin Murphy
I need this but conditioners! Thanks Abbey! 🙏🏼
I absolutely LOVE Suave Rose Oil Infusion shampoo and conditioner. I’ve been using it for almost a year and it’s cruelty free. 😁😁
L’Oréal ever pure!!!! Thank you for making these!!!!
Try garnier. I've been using it for decades. Especially long and strong with apple picture.😊
Too bad it’s a shitty brand tho 😕
Garnier makes my hair unbelievably dry and brittle.
Can you do a best drugstore conditioners with silicones 💗 and some protein free options please 😅

Those Suave duo in the TikTok clip is actually good!
