Loved seeing Young St and Eaton Center. Its been many years since I have been there. Rarely go to the thrift stores anymore. Prices too high and the resellers are loading their carts with anything worthwhile. They are pushing and pulling carts. I have better luck at garage sales and estate sales. Ours are months behind since the big 2020 hoopla, they have not recovered. If need your drivers license renewal and cannot manage it online, you’ll have to get an appointment which will take months.😡

Hi Brooke, Same here under construction seems like the work on everything at once ! Everyone agrees prices are so high, someone said maybe we stop buying prices will come down? I can not believe how expensive meat is for you !! good thing you can get several meals out of a package. I brought a Thanksgiving turkey at .59 cents a pound good price and knowing I will be freezing a lot of it !! I absolutely love the cape ! When thrifting, I only shop Goodwill and Salvation Army as there is no tax - I refuse to pay taxes on originally paid for and donated goods! Also, you get a 10% discount for seniors always and Goodwill has a 50% off last Tuesday of month!

Hadn't been in a yr really needed nothing but....went last wens to find a 9x 13 casserole dish. .all these benevolence rooms" are FREE......all sponsored by diff Churches very nice!!!!....then couple of them thro in bags of groceries FREE with shampoo, soap... toothpaste ..what have you...y'all it helps Soo much.
Well I found the most beautiful wreath and candles & huge lazy Susan, Sm cookie sheet,and neat shelfi can hang on wall..& other small decor items!!& Plus three bags of groceries baked chicken rolls, salad chi chip cookies & sweet rolls.i gave some to college students across street.....they loved it ...better than thrift shop

Brooke have you tried Skyscanner for booking your trip - I went in and booked for Dec 7 - 26, 27 to Los Angeles, CA and it seemed reasonable United 1 stopover 6hr. Economy Flight for $497.00 return economy, or direct economy for $797.00, 4 hr. Trip, but I haven’t travelled by plane in years!

Ah no price? Then it's obviously free! I love your sense of humour. There are some great pieces to be found but I must agree, the prices at the charity stores do seem higher than at the local stores. Unfortunately, re-sellers might have unwittingly contributed to this but it's up to the stores' owners/managers to keep prices in check for the everyday folk. Otherwise, they'll make very few sales. I do hope you get the chance to visit your daughter. Christmas is the busiest time of the year and airlines know this only too well which is why tickets are so expensive right now.
