Thankyou for the recipe for Greek chicken, I think I’ll try that. I also always make homemade cranberry sauce, I use about 2 tablespoons of honey instead of sugar, a bit of orange or lemon juice and rind, I love it over lactose/sugar free ice cream for dessert. Brooke once again I’m praying you get some relief from the pain. Your thrift store has so much more household items than our Goodwills do. Ours has only a very small section with dishes, glassware, framed prints and things like that. Groceries just go up every week. We went today and spent $155 . We only had 2 packs bacon and sirloin tips for meat items. I did have to buy all my laundry products but it’s awful how high it all is. Your chicken and cranberries looks wonderful . Brooke, I feel so bad about your pain situation. I’m here in the states and I have a wonderful rheumatologist who things outside the box. He started me on low-dose naltrexone. They call it LDN and they are finding great results with people who have auto immune diseases causing pain, such as rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia etc. I wonder if you could bring this up with your doctor and perhaps try it it’s relatively expensive but I don’t know how the health system there in Canada works. I have to get it at a compounding pharmacy so it’s not covered by my Medicare and health insurance here in the states. but it is well worth it because it has helped me a lot. If I didn’t use my coupons at the Kroger stores where I also get a rebate on gas, I’d be in trouble, but it’s nowhere near the prices you are paying, I can’t believe. I can’t believe you Canadians aren’t putting up a terrible fuss with the government. That’s a ridiculous.!
