Did that allow you to now turn ignition on with the key in it as long as remote is in the car? I know with that tech package you dont need the key in it just twist to start. I only have key and need new remote is why im asking???

Yes you did not buy all the components, you needed more items so they are not matched. It is impossible to do what you want without the other components from the vehicle the keys and remotes came from.
@@thediagnosticbox8287 the old BCM is there, I had the problem with my starter switch and bought another good quality but already used switch ... with its keys and the remote control. after programming, the engine started well but when you stop the engine, it is deprogrammed ... you must to program again .... what are the tools or the steps to follow to succeed? The ign should twist with key as that has the transponder in it.
