Anyone else watch these shows over and over? Addictive
I think they’re entertaining quite apart from the learning aspect. What an engaging guy!
yepp !! cheers from germany
Absolutely :) I want to memorise them so that I don't need the video when I go to actually cook them :D
"I got the butter right here, but that's just for moral support." That cracked me up!!! 🤣😂😅
I love this guy!
🙏🙏🙏
I love this guy. He's such a character! Lol
I'm a professional chef myself and I gotta say all your recipes are simple yet fantastic! I tried a few of your recipe with my staff and they all loved it, I like the way how you are presenting your dishes with a sense of humor and your videos really stood out from most of the cooking shows I've watched. Keep up the smile and don't stop sharing your amazing recipes to us all, thank you Chef Jean!
That is awesome to hear Dante! I am so glad that I can share some cool recipes with you guys! Thanks for the nice comment!😀

@@ChefJeanPierre That opens the door. With such a large following; why not a "not so EZ" dish just for the learning contrast?
Look so delicious I will make some thanks chef
"I'm having butter for emotional support". That's just hilarious. Two thumbs up chef.
I totally understand that!!!
"It's all about da texture, friends."
Yes sir, texture is the vehicle of flavor.
👍😀
Now my Thursday is complete, always looking forward to chef Jean Pierre
Yeah, it is a nice victory after Wednesday to have this show
Amen this is what bring the world together
i was born in Madeira, grow up in South Africa , lived in Venezuela ten years , then unfortunately came back to South Africa, as a Portuguese , we love cod fish , Thank you .😊❤
Butter for emotional support 😂🤣😂🤣 thanks and blessings dear chef 🧑🍳
Once again Chef, you knocked it out of the ball park.
Haven't had a chance to watch in a few weeks. My work kitchen has been over whelmed! Nice to relax.
Butter is my Emotional Support Animal as well 😎
Now I am addictive to chef Jean Pierre’s videos . I watched them over and over again . He is a very meticulous in his process of cooking but easy to follow and his cleanliness in the kitchen is great . Love your show chef Jean Pierre !
YEAY! I love fish and you made my Thursday …. AGAIN!
There are always 2 guarantees with your videos. 1) There will be at lease 1laugh out loud moment and 2) I always learn something really interesting which I'll always remember. Love your videos, thank you!
Thank you very much! 😀
Let me say I am sad after living in Florida for 22 years I never heard about you.
Wish I could have gone to your restaurant. As a 53 old male American that ate crap all his life you have been a God Send to me and my family.
I have learned so much from you and. So grateful you share these recipes.
Hopefully my boys will share your recipes with their kids.
And off to this recipe.
Very good, No sodium which a good thing. I use the same soy as you as frankly is hands down the winner.
Fish came out perfect and was very happy with the meal.
Definitely will be making this again.
Thank you for the recipe.
See you Thursday!
Mon ami! You're my favorite chef! You know the chef is good when he keeps butter nearby for "emotional support". You're the best!
Sheeeeit. Love it.
Chef, I wish you were our neighbor here in the mountains of New Mexico !!! What a gift you have and your desire to give everyone the experience of seeing the dish completed is so special. My wife and I would love to watch you prepare blackened fish.
I don't know if I watch your show for the recipes and great tips or for your humor. You make me laugh. Poached

Y’all’s nasty. 🤭😋😛😝😜🤪
Happy Thursday, Chef!
I like Chef Jean Pierre's shows
I love an Asian flavor with the fish it really is amazing.
Wow, this was a great surprise. We've nearly given up on cod in this house because it bakes lousy, grills lousy, and we don't eat much deep fried fish, so we usually opt for other fish.
Thank you, Chef
You are so right Richard, it does not grill or bake very well unless you first pan sear it first! 😀
Best deep fried in a beer batter...
@@donbrown1284 With some delicious freshly made fries or onion rings!
Tried steaming it and then slathering in white miso paste?
Ever make New England style fish chowder?
Cod is the perfect fish for it.
Simple to make, and real comfort food
Ingredients already on my shopping list! Making this for my son, his half-Asian wife & their 4 kids ages 16, 11, 8, & 4. They all have sophisticated global palates, I'm a cook from the South! We will see what happens, Chef & friends!
Ahhh!!
Always look forward to your Thursday recipes... YUM!!
Thank you Chef, we love you!
"Butter for emotional support"-I love this Chef : )
I like cod fish but in Asian style is new for me Jean-Pierre!

Cabillaud à la Jean-Pierre , excellent
The only one not moved by this delicious and impressive recipe is the Cod. Merci beaucoup Chef!
Has anyone else ever watched a Chef Jean-Pierre video and changed their day around just to make the recipe?
All the time!
Yup
Yes sir
Hit lucky and the fish was on sale…
Maybe they are fans
No. But I have to watch more of his videos, lol!
I have never cooked cod this way, but I will give it a try.
you are the best chef tv show ever. I love ur personality and love ur recipes. My first 4 years out of high school I worked in high end restaurants, resorts and golf courses. I was fortunate to work under many excellent chefs and was committed to do an apprenticeship. I even owned a 1000 dollars 4 star Henckel chefs knife kit, a Herings dictionary, and became very proficient at french cooking, sauces, and butchering and preparing all types of meals. However, my father, who is very blue collar, talked me out of it. He said a real man does not work as a chef, and he got me into the construction business instead. I had success over 20 year career, building Wal-marts, retail stores, banks, hospital projects etc. However my career was cut short from knee injuries and lung weakness all caused by construction work environment. It was miserable at times, dirty job sites, seasonal weather, and always working around other men only. If I could go back 28 years, I would tell the young me to keep at it and stay in the restaurant business. By now, I would be running a hotel resort, or own a very high end restaurant, selling over priced wine to stupid yuppies. Meanwhile, this chef reminds me of some of the great personalities I met back in the day in the cooking business.
Thank you for the cool comment! As much as I had a great career and enjoy every minutes of it! I never worked less than 14/16 hours days 7 days a week. I had my restaurant for 22 years and took 60 days off. My cooking school 21 years and maybe took a couple weeks off. The life of a chef is his kitchen and it is very difficult to have a family! So do not regret a thing enjoy you life and enjoy the hobby of cooking! Thank you for watching the channel! 😀
chef Jean is a very lovable guy
I could not agree with you more!!! 😀
I’ve been taking my sons fishing for striped bass this summer. The first good keeper we get is going with this recipe. Can’t wait!
Cant wait for the fish and chips video! ....Back in the 70's me, my dad and some friends went cod fishing off the coast of Massachusetts, we had to go out far off the coast because cod likes deep cool water but we used to get a bunch of them. We also got haddock, pollock and other sea life like small sharks...good times!
Man i love this!!! My wife and i always watch and is it weird i want fish and chips now??? With a nice remulade sauce...😋😋😋😋
Thursdays are always good with Chef JP!
I made your recipe today. My family loves codfish anyway. The taste was outstanding. Thank you for another great evening!
Poaching is highly underrated. I've known many cooks who simply don't do it, and it's because they do not do it correctly. This recipe is genius, and it is simple. I love poaching fish and chicken. Beautifully done... and the Jasmine Rice is a lovely touch.
Yes, I watch his videos over and over not just for entertainment and recipes but for techniques that I can apply to other cooking. My wife is always asking me why I watch the same video over and over sometimes. I'm the cook in the house. I wish Chef Jean-Pierre would have more than just one video a week. Waiting a whole week for these videos is a loooong time. I live in California but if I was in Florida, I would love to go meet him. I love this guy.
Dang, that looks good!👍
🕊Peace and Blessings! One of my favorite vegetables bok choy! I really like that broth! This was a easy, fast tasty meal! Thank you for sharing Chef Jean Pierre 🫶🏽
I’m a simple man, I see a new video out from Chef Jean Pierre, I click 👍👍. Bravo as always, Chef! 👏👏
Thursday is my new Friday. When Chef's uploads hit, the weekend party starts early!
I live in Maine, those fish are hopping around my back yard, let me go grab one for this recipe! THAT is fresh!
Lucky you!!! 😀
Keep burning my friend, fish is my favorite.
I would like to see a grilled fish taco recipe if/when possible . Thanks Chef love your videos
Thank you, Chef!
I catch a lot of cod and am always looking for new ways to cook it. I know that this is great by the ingredients. Looking forward to trying this and inviting some friends over. They will be amazed. Thanks for another creation.
I made this for dinner last night and my wife says thank you for teaching my husband how to cook. It was wonderful.
Hey chef I'm trying your recipe tonight boy it sure looks good so far thank you very much
Another one knocked out of the park. Love your work Chef. Thank you.
I have known many chefs….you Jean Pierre ?! Best. Beautiful energy.
I love cod! I'm going to make this with a smashed cucumber salad. Thanks Chef!
I LOVE watching your videos. Keep doing what you are doing. Please don't let the "Recipe Police" get you down. I'm so glad I discovered your channel!
Reminds me of some dishes I had throughout Malaysia.
I love this guy !
I've never thought to look up the perfect internal temperature for fish! It's nice to see an expert check the temp. Then he know's it is absolutely perfect. Thank you, Chef.
Today I found out the total cost to repair my vehicle ($xxxx.xx)😳😞😖. I have been pouting all day. Learning a new favorite recipe just made me smile😊
Thank you chef your absolutely right you teach us how to cook. I thank you and all the lucky people I get to share your recipes with thank you God bless you
And God bless America !!!
🙏🙏🙏😀
Wonderful video chef!
its sunday morning here in germany and i am looking forward what to cook today, maybe fish
Ugh, i live for these videos. Currently experiencing lockdown from Sydney, Australia. Perfect time to try some new recipes. Thanks Chef JP!
Looks awesome!
Again - what a good inspiration! Thanks
Such a delight to see chef cook. Been watching him for a while now so I feel like one of his “fwenz” 😀
Can't wait to try this out.
Just bought a hunk of frozen cod and now you’ll teach me how to cook it .... amazing already
Amazing. But I Will save this for a few more months. Right now it is 35C here. Great job chef. Amazing dish
Looks great must try.
Thanks.
Please do fish and chips! I can't wait. my favorite way to do it is very simple. I use beer batter. I ice the beer to get it very cold, then just add flour to make a batter. no cornstarch at all. no dipping in flour first or something. just batter. room temp fish chunks and fry in more than 350 degrees oil, more like 380.
Thank you Chef, this looks wonderful, I'm going to give this a try for my family. I look forward to your next video.
Really yummy!!
Nice...always looking for a new fish recipe...looks awsome.
