@@jordangoat6650 apart from Cassandra's wave of killings though this is probably the most accurate as a parallel to real life New Orleans compared to all the other endings (aside from it not being as much of a ghost town by 2016 after the recovery and rehousing efforts after Katrina)
If you've seen Burkes and Cassandra's take over endings then that explains why Vito is the only real option since Vito actually makes the City successful and finishes sal marconos Casino and then builds even more casinos
If you hate the city, (which I kinda did) This is the best ending. Vito's ending is still overall the best and would tie into future Mafia games the best too.
To be honest, after watching each of these endings Vito was the best choice since he set forth to create his own legitimate empire and benefit the city which he could've in Empire Bay. Burke I felt bit off more than he could chew when rival crime lords came to New Bordeaux and chose to start a war causing the city to become a war zone. Cassandra more or less brought nothing but absolute destruction since the other criminal gangs couldn't stomach the idea of her being in charge of the criminal underworld.

If you don't believe that, then just look at the Tulsa bombing.
I think the Hurricane basically just plays out mostly like Katrina did in our world. Orleans takes the heavy hit, but still will survive; better in terms of Lincoln and Vito's endings. Burke, not as sure.
I think the hurricane does happen in every ending. But the other 3 funded money and helped rebuild the city unlike Cassandra who was just needlessly killing everyone that stood in her way which made everyone abandon the city and let the swamp grow over it
@@isaiahnavarro8268 no man, my order has always been: Cassandra - Burke - Vito. Same order was used to distribute businesses. Maybe Burke just got the most profitable businesses by a random chance?
Yeah. Looks like the guy's hunting ghosts; in 2016, when the game came out and these scenes looking back take place, Leo would have been 129 years old.
I prefer Burke's ending. Rule together and Vito's ending are too happy for mafia and a criminal life. Cassandra's ending is too catastrophic. Burke's ending is most realistic what would happened to any crime boss. I also love Thomas Burke's (not white and not black) character. I also like, that any player can make a decision and determine the final result and the game ending. It goes perfectly with Hangar 13 credo "Every player's story is unique."
I honestly believe the Cassandra ending was not canon, as the hurricane wiped out the city, and yet, it is seen still active during Father James’ interview, and he is still living in the city to that day. But I consider the Leave ending canon.
After watching all the endings I would have to say the rule together would be the canon and probably best outcome, Vito's is nice but he kinda becomes another Sal Marcono and that's really the only bad part about his ending
I don't think Vito becomes another Sal Marcano. I mean, sure, he is replacing a mobster with another one(himself), but unlike Sal, Vito never had big issues with the Comission, especially since he was in good terms with Leo Galante. Vito welcomed the Mafia and their lifestyle while Sal just tried to throw anything and anyone under the bus while he gets on top.
Though I think the best endings to this game are ruling together or leaving and having vito take over are the best firing endings. I like this one for how dystopian it is!
