Even in vice city, they used a Jamaican to play the leader of the zoe pound when we don't even speak the same language or sound remotely the same. Like getting a french person with a strong accent to voice a british actor
It does seem odd at times that in spite of having the “Godfather” role of this particular crime syndicate, you are often doing the bulk of the dirty work yourself. This would be like Vito Corleone or Tony Soprano whacking someone personally as opposed to ordering that they be killed.
Shittt if you want something done right, you should do it yourself. If you think about it even in the godfather role, how many people have been ordered and sent to kill someone and actually ratted out on the person that ordered the hit? It's just safer to do the work alone. if im being extra here, atleast lincoln knows the job is done and or, he could've framed someone and said they did the hit cuz sometimes people get mad depending on who you kill in crime syndicates. Burke and cassandra could've been best friends, and burke couldve wanted revenge etc. Its just better to do stuff alone :)
@Shadow Knight nah....we got enough of Vito in Mafia 2....Lincoln was amazing as the hand of death and Vito played a perfect role as the damsel in distress lol.
@Murv yeah they'll just keep sending hitsquads out for you every 3 minutes. if you piss off Cassandra, its the haitian dudes in the purple cars and for Burke, its the irish dudes in green. its actually a very thrilling experience lol.
I know most players love Vito and that's why they gave most or all the districts to them. But why don't try to divide them fairly so that you have more allies to back your Operation? I decided to divide as fair as possible except that Vito got one more extra (Because I like him just like you guys), and Burke and Casandra got fair division, and, TOGETHER, WE 4 RULE NEW BORDEAUX HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
I gave Southdown and Downtown to Vito, basically the most racist yet fancy places because I trust him to get those in line. Frisco Fields was a good candidate too but I prefered to give him to Burke due to the drug labs and because I know he'll handle inbred exhalted racists his own way. I also gave him Tickfaw due to the auto-shop racket. Cassandra got Barcklay and French Ward due to the heavy presence of black folks in need of protection. (Plus French Ward is the place with Father James' Church) And as long as the one locking down the district gets to make it official afterwards, everyone's happy.
For me, Cassandra lied to you, hates your family, and is Haitian those who tried to kill you. Vito is literally the most loyal dude out there and Burke. Kinda owe it to him cause of his son
I did just that, gave all of the west side to Cassandra, all the east to Burke and the central district’s to Vito, was pretty easy keeping their loyalty when I did that.
Cassandra have very big ego and she can be really angry, which is show also if she takes over the city while Lincoln vanishes, but nonetheless all these betrayals and deaths are really sad. When I get Mafia 3, I'll need to avoid it. If you kill Underboss, you also not only can assign a district for them, but also lose some benefits, I've heard. Well, you have their lieutants, but still, it's good to keep them alive, not only Vito
Cassandra:Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: “it is mine to avenge, i will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary: 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. Vito: bucatini Lincolin: im callin this one for scaletta
The hard part about Cassandra is she died without a word, was it the bullets? Probably. But she died in the same place Clay rescued her. She left that compartment crying, in pain but overall angry. She went back ready to die and fight. Unlike Vito or Burke, she died in pain despite what she said about “not dying like this.”
On my first playthrough I managed to distribute most of the districts evenly among the three of them (think Vito had one or two more just cuz Vito's the OG lol) and was surprised I didn't get betrayed or have to kill any of em, even got an achievement for keeping the group together! If I had to choose though, we all know Vito is top priority
Goddamn, you really have to push them far to betray you. Given how quick they were to anger, I thought it only took a couple wrong steps to trigger betrayal.
It would make an underboss betrayed you faster if you assign both rackets to a district then giving said district to another underboss instead of just not giving them anything at all.
I can tell that Lincoln actually regretted having to kill Cassandra after he did it. Even though it was business and it had to be done, he felt guilty.
I'd lie if I told you this wasn't one of the most satisfying moments in the entire game. Especially after having to endure her constant bitching over the span of multiplw playthoughs, because those trophies kept fucking glitching

Nah bro, the storyline isn't bad but the gameplay itself lacks a lot and it's very repetitive, the "kill a lot of douchebags in the same fucking way everytime just to get to the boss" system killed the game for me, and it's a big mistake since the devs wanted to make something totally different from the classic Mafia stuff (i'm referring to the fact that they introduced a black/mixed character in the 60s/70s, a very hard and complex period due to social and racial injustices). For me the best one in terms of storyline and gameplay is Mafia II, i loved Vito and Joe, plus being a Sicilian myself (born and raised) i appreciated a lot the effort of the American voice actors during the Italian lines (The Italian lines in Mafia I were terribile, only the Salieri and Angelo's ones were kind of acceptable). Anyway did you hear that Hangar 13 wants to make Mafia V in Sicily? When i heard it, i went full bananas.
Only a rat betrays Vito. Burke is a compromise to the organization because of his deep ties with the IRA, and his condition makes him act recklessly. Cassandra is a racial zealot and a cowardly liar whom let's her own people die in her stead, lying on them and cursing their families as thanks for taking the fall. But Vito is a man of culture.
@@CorundumDevil I hated Burke cause at almost every point he's calling Lincoln either useless or various slurs, easily the worst Underboss in my opinion. Cassandra at least cares about a few things. As always Vito remains the good boy with the best upgrades.
There's a mod for Mafia III that unlocked every single Vito's, Burk's and Cassandra's upgrade and perk at the same time. If you have Mafia III on PC, can you do a video about that? I always wanted to see the last 2 Burke's last 2 upgrades and Cassandra's last 2 upgrades.
Bro why didn't they do a NG+? This game deserved one! All the cars be upgraded the way you did in your Playthrough, Upgrades from the Underbosses, and much more. And also make it a bit more harder so you don't just kill every enemy easily because you have all the guns.
It's deeper than just being the "the best/happiest ending". I know it's a game, but you have to be black to understand how this was the wrong choice. America has a way of turning you on your own kind. If you know, you know. If you don't, you don't 🤷🏾♂️
Exactly. All these guys commenting on how Cassandra is this and that but have no idea what being black and facing racism is like. I kept all 3 of them alive and split the districts evenly, but I made my choices as I would’ve in real life. I gave Cassandra the French Ward since there’s a large black population there and I also gave her Downtown since she would be able to have control over politicians and begin making a real change 🤷🏾♂️
I’m on my third play through trying to get the plat I got rid of Burke already and gave cass the rackets of frisco fields but gave that district to Vito so if I do that for the last two districts will I get the plat?
In real life, one tend to turn against another because of Personal or Buisness reasons. The Godfather series is one of those examples. Paulie, Monk, Tessie, and Roth betrayed the family for reasons.
I didn't give her shit bc she locked me out of the house when the cops attacked me But when i ended up killing her in the game and saw what she what was holding in her hand i sayed ..... O shit
How so? Cassandra was there to deliver harsh truths. She told valid points about Sammy. Besides, it was just business and all but anyone could tell Lincoln felt guilty after killing Cassandra, whether it's canon or not. Sammy couldn't do right things for the community. Anything Cassandra said about him was never wrong. Lincoln knew it, too Like they say, just like you dont like some uncomfortable truth isn't a reason to act naive Being selfish or cracked up. Isn't that the entirety of the mafia franchise? I remember I was mad asf when I had to work with them because I literally didn't want any white men around. I wanted everybody black. I didn't trust they asses 🤷♂️

Even in vice city, they used a Jamaican to play the leader of the zoe pound when we don't even speak the same language or sound remotely the same. Like getting a french person with a strong accent to voice a british actor
I made it equal for everyone but dang I hated Cassandra it was like everything she said was negative even when I was trying to be equal

It does seem odd at times that in spite of having the “Godfather” role of this particular crime syndicate, you are often doing the bulk of the dirty work yourself. This would be like Vito Corleone or Tony Soprano whacking someone personally as opposed to ordering that they be killed.
Yeah, that’s the difficulty with games like this, youre both the leader and the minion haha
Tony did do some of the clipping
Shittt if you want something done right, you should do it yourself. If you think about it even in the godfather role, how many people have been ordered and sent to kill someone and actually ratted out on the person that ordered the hit? It's just safer to do the work alone. if im being extra here, atleast lincoln knows the job is done and or, he could've framed someone and said they did the hit cuz sometimes people get mad depending on who you kill in crime syndicates. Burke and cassandra could've been best friends, and burke couldve wanted revenge etc. Its just better to do stuff alone :)
i give everything to Vito and let these guys chase me forever lol.
@Shadow Knight nah....we got enough of Vito in Mafia 2....Lincoln was amazing as the hand of death and Vito played a perfect role as the damsel in distress lol.

Same. Never killed any of my underbosses.
Same, way better and made more money in the game that way
I know most players love Vito and that's why they gave most or all the districts to them.
(Plus French Ward is the place with Father James' Church)
And as long as the one locking down the district gets to make it official afterwards, everyone's happy.
I'm the exception. Ive never played mafia 2 so i have no connection to vito whatsoever. he was just...there
I've assigned the most racist places to Cassandra, just to spite the people
Cassandra have very big ego and she can be really angry, which is show also if she takes over the city while Lincoln vanishes, but nonetheless all these betrayals and deaths are really sad.
Vito: bucatini
Lincolin: im callin this one for scaletta
Same. And when I decided to leave the city Vito dominated it. The best of all endings
@@araujotavares5015 I think I chose to stay in the city and kept the squad together and dominated the globe XD

Don't worry I won't haha. I'd also have to start a new game and do it all again if I wanted to show Vito's death.
Don't worry, he loves bucatini
Goddamn, you really have to push them far to betray you. Given how quick they were to anger, I thought it only took a couple wrong steps to trigger betrayal.
Cause they know Lincoln is a very dangerous man
It would make an underboss betrayed you faster if you assign both rackets to a district then giving said district to another underboss instead of just not giving them anything at all.
the 2 times you chose vito was because of the fresh bucatini lol
2:22 LOL 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 the zoom on Cassandras face 👍👍👍👍

I can tell that Lincoln actually regretted having to kill Cassandra after he did it. Even though it was business and it had to be done, he felt guilty.

I'd lie if I told you this wasn't one of the most satisfying moments in the entire game.
Especially after having to endure her constant bitching over the span of multiplw playthoughs, because those trophies kept fucking glitching

Goddam, I love this game. It got some unfair shit at release, but it is a great game. Best in the Mafia series to me.
I noticed he never made a video on vito’s betrayal

She did to me.
Lincoln would've probably still not liked her because of how she treated Sammy and the way she didnt want Lincoln to decide for his self
The godfather?

I didn't give her shit bc she locked me out of the house when the cops attacked me
But when i ended up killing her in the game and saw what she what was holding in her hand i sayed ..... O shit

Good ending is kill Cassandra every time in this game lol
Lincoln knew it, too
Like they say, just like you dont like some uncomfortable truth isn't a reason to act naive
Being selfish or cracked up. Isn't that the entirety of the mafia franchise? Mob bosses shouldn't be concerned about other mob bosses by leaving their priorities
Name one reason Cassandra is worse than burke and vito (and im not saying Cassandra is the best) I prefer vito but atleast I still split it evenly. We had enough of vito since mafia 2, just put him in a good position that's all
@@France_Guy-n2l I'm not shocked someone from france is simping for her tbh

I was born in Belgium and not really french. I never said anything about simping and I already said I prefer Vito over the other two Lietutants. You can't use the word "simping" in mafia. Especially not for someone like Cassandra. Nobody wants to go like a wild ape for a fucking fictional character
And besides, I gave Vito one more district than the other two, played both mafia 1 and 2 but all I'm saying is that I don't see a reason how Cassandra was worse than the two. Hell, even burke was much of an asshole. Got his son killed because of his Selfishness and refers to Lincoln as "chalky" throughout the whole game and so far, the most USELESS Lietutant
Cassandra just wrecks the whole city while Vito turns it into Vegas. So no, I'm not "simping" for some fictional character and only said that there's no reason that Cassandra is worse than the other two Lietutants

Salleiri was the first bad one and even then, I don't see mafia 3 as a good game either
The atmosphere of it was literally so much more different from the second and first one + half of the things dont even make sense
For example: in rule alone ending its not possible for a fucking latoonion bomb under Lincoln's car placed by a goon or such (You need a better understanding of the bombs)
The only thing that would make sense is if it were the government or the commission (which the commission wanted Lincoln dead, BADLY)
The whole thing was a mess from the beginning but then again, rule alone is mostly likely to be the most canon ending because:
Donovan is the one who told Lincoln to kill all the Lietutants which follows up with father saying Lincoln became like sal Marcano. And just like that, its a cycle. Literally everyone just ends up being a selfish fuck who goes ghost ape and fucks everything up, using people for their own good
And people shouldn't be surprised for it considering it's a mafia game
I think mafia 3 definitive edition didnt changed, its same like classic mafia 3
Bruh its not out yet
lxgamerfeg yes it is mafia 2 and 3 got remastered in August and you have to download an update for 3 and it changes it to definitive edition. Google it and you’ll know what I mean

Its so easy to make millions in mafia 3 by just doing the drugs mission.
Can you still run the hollow after killing her???
Also after u kill Cassandra can u still run the hollow or is the game over??
If you actually think about every territory is specifically made for each of the underbosses. Hence the reason why ruling together is the original (and best) ending. Nothing is gained by killing any of the underbosses it’s literally the most pointless feature because everybody is getting money, getting along, and looking out for each other. And It’s crazy that people are literally killing Cassandra because “she pulls the race card…”, “all she does is complain about living in a racist society…” it’s literally 1968 Louisiana and she’s a black woman. She had every freaking right. There is literally no real reason y’all hate her character so much other than that. Y’all so weird.
Fr, I played this game & I gave her like 80% of everything because umm she's a Black woman in the south & Lincolns Black so they have a common struggle, which makes her the most loyal & trustworthy ally. So why in the entire fuck would I then start a war, with her as my first & only ally, kill all these white men, & build up an entire empire, just to give it all away, for free, to "2 white men who are my allies" (HEEELLLLL NNOOO!!!), when the sole reason Lincoln even ended up on this war path is to seek revenge because he & his friends got set up to be robbed & killed by "2 (racist) white men who he thought were his allies", instead of giving it to LITERALLY THE ONLY BLACK ALLY I HAVE? I remember I was mad asf when I had to work with them because I literally didn't want any white men around. I wanted everybody black. I didn't trust they asses 🤷♂️
