Great content showing the last two championships of the actual finalists. Great channel. Man, Dirk's run feels not like already 13 years ago and also remember the 2008s here very clearly. Time flies..

The Warriors blowing a 3-1 is the worst blown series lead I’ve ever witnessed (even if there were injuries and a suspension that undoubtedly helped no matter what some fans might say) but either this game or Game 2 of the 2011 Finals when the Mavs came back from down like 15 or 17 with like 5-6 minutes left in the game will always be the biggest *SINGLE GAME* choke jobs in my memory
I was like 10 when these finals happened but if I remember correctly they reviewed it during halftime and changed it to a 3 so the score went from 57 LAL to 58 LAL
LA gave this game away, not to mention Boston was extremely lucky that LA was missing Andrew Bynum & Trevor Ariza, otherwise they win this series in 5 or 6. They got their revenge in 2010.
@@drigou17 Yeah, he maybe a scrub but can prevent guys like Bynum and Gasol grab additional boards. Celtics were 3-2 when Perk went down. But as usual, Laker fans and their low bbiq takes. Just because Perk isn't a star nor he average 10+ rebounds doesn't diminish his role and that was being a live body against Bynum and Gasol.
u dump, bynum was nothing in 2008, lakers got completely dominated in 2008 series. KG got fucked next year. then third year celtics went back, destroying the magic (which went to the finals against lakers in 2009), and went to 7 games and marginally lost to the lakers, thanks to perkins going out in game 6-7, and celtics got destroyed on the board. still the game wasn't lost until the last minute. if KG and perk never got injuried, celtics could have won 3 in a row, injuries are part of the game. boston was more unlucky then lucky if you were there and knew what was going on.
Greatest comeback in Finals history
And i was rooting for the Lakers
