Elles étaient déjà qualifiées, l entraineur a aligné l'equipe B. Il n'y avait aucun intérêt pour elles de de dechirrer pour risquer de se blesser juste avant les JO...

Ce n'est pas exact. Il y avait l'intérêt de la 1ère place, l'intérêt de gagner une place de titulaire pour les JO, l'intérêt de montrer au futur coach qu'on peut compter sur elles. En plus 2 joueuses sont sorties sur blessures, preuve que cet argument est discutable. Il faudra faire une bonne analyse mais même l'argument de l'équipe B ne tient pas car le score était 0-0 avant l'entrée des titulaires habituelles. Le score a empiré ensuite avec ces titulaires (bien sûr, on ne pouvait pas faire 11 remplacements).
OK, elles étaient déjà qualifiées mais tout de même. L'Irlande, dans ce groupe, avait déjà réussi sa campagne en marquant un but contre l'Angleterre. Alors de là à gagner en nous plantant trois buts...

It was a HIGHLY competitive affair; very watchable. The French deserve plenty of credit given that it was a 2nd XI. The most encouraging aspect of the game was the complete lack of histrionics, allowing for an engaging spectacle. The ref looked like she wasn't going to bother with the whistle by the end. In terms of entertainment value, the women's game is clearly ahead of the men's game now. DEFINITELY at International level. If Euro 2024 is anything to go by, the men's game might be in a spot of bother, in danger of reaching a cynical stalemate. The assets have become too valuable for meaningful competition...It's the women's game for me!

I’ve been watching a lot of women’s football lately and it’s actually fun when the teams are good.. very entertaining because results are so close and some players have that old school talent that the men’s game doesn’t really have anymore as they all have to be athletes first and ballers second unless they are a Ronaldo or Messi

Je considère que c'est plus un mauvais match qu'un problème individuel lié à certaines joueuses. N'oublions pas qu'en fin de compte entre 8 et 11 joueuses titulaires ou quasi titulaires ou jouant relativement régulièrement ont participé à cette rencontre. Je crains malheureusement que même avec les titulaires, en faisant 3 ou 4 changements, on se retrouve en difficulté déjà.

Malgré sa nullité:
1) La France est 2ème au classement fifa pour la toute première fois de son histoire
2) La France a joué pour la toute première fois une finale continentale
3) La France a pu gagner de grandes nations de foot comme l'Allemagne, l'Angleterre et la Suède
4) La France finit première de ce groupe de qualification pour l'euro 2025
On verra ce que donneront les JO mais vous pouvez postuler ou demander à votre coach préféré(e) de postuler afin qu'on gagne désormais tous les matchs en jouant comme les Espagnoles ou les Japonaises.

Countries like Ireland and Scotland, who are now rubbish in men’s football, should just focus their limited resources on women’s football where they appear to be much more competitive.
Ireland is world number 1 or 2 in rugby and has their own national sport which most people watch and play. Soccer is a spectator sport at best in Ireland. Gaelic football and hurling are the number 1 and 2 major sports so obviously they don’t care that much about men’s soccer. Who cares tho!

The French team has individual talent, collectively they are so poor. Indiscipline, team attacking and defending principles don’t exist. For example. Shooting 25 to 30 yards from goal. Who does that on the international stage and expect to win games? Where is the reading of cues, finding spaces, moving the ball to create openings. They need to be coached. Where is the tactical savvy needed to break down the opposition? How about controlling the game - dictate the tempo? Coach them for crying out load!!!!
