Hey Zsolt, I know exactly where you coming from with your comment. I live in Canada as well since the mid-'90s. I never felt more proud of being a Hungarian then current years. I have lived half of my life in Canada, I assimilated quickly, never asked for anything but worked hard and paid my dues. But I have to tell you, even after 20+ years in Canada, I do not feel home. The older I get the more I feel and understand my heritage. I feel sad to say but Canada does not stand for anything. There is no heritage, culture to be proud of. It is nothing but a soulless country where all cultures from around the world try to co-exist and pretend they are happy. Canada is a great place to advance quickly, pretty safe to live in for those that only care for material things.

Migration is not a human right, believe it or not. This is why borders exist, and why nations exist. You CAN walk up to another country, but you must be ready to face the consequences of the laws of the country you are going into. Simple national security, no one knows if you are carrying a sack of C4 or a machine gun or have ill purposes. We cannot have millions coming in unchecked. If this happens (which it is actually) crime will spike (as it already has in Germany and Sweden, the two most affected countries) and cultures will segregate.
You need to ask to enter to another country, especially if you want to live there.

As a Hungarian I feel ashamed represented by such people, and I am so SORRY for everyone the hatred my politicians represent. This is NOT who we are. The only reason for this immigration propaganda is they want to cover all the problems my little country faces and should be solved. It is so sad to see many people fall cowardly for blaming others, instead of seeking for solutions for problems. Please do not use us as an excuse for anti-immigration or for xenophobia. This whole mess is heartbreaking, and so far from what my family fought for hundreds of years.
I only recently decided to educate myself of Hungary's current political situation. I am sorry my friend nationalism and authoritarianism has taken hold in your country I wish you the best and hope this era is short lived. Hopefully the changes to your constitution arent irreversible and incredibly damaging.

Thank you so much for the nice words. Our constitution can be changed at any time, it requires 2/3 majority in parliament. At that point I am quite pessimistic.
Unfortunately it will fall upon its citizens like yourself to be bold and brave and stand firm to resist fascism in all its forms. History remembers those that deliver its country from regressive ideologies and its these people that bring the injustices of their governments to the attention of the world so the global community can act.
