- Malaysia Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan has just delivered a powerful speech at the United National General Assembly as he launched an all-out attack on the US for its decision to abuse its veto power in the Security Council to protect Israel. Hasan demanded an urgent reform in the UN so that the veto power could Jo longer be used by a selected few countries.

There has to be a system to overturn a veto in the SC. US congress is able to overturn presedential veto if 2/3 of senate votes to do so yet in SC the veto power held by a select few is left unchecked!
