      What about a 2 man helicopter one has control of a autocannon and the pilot Flys and gets like 8 anti armor rockets and like 2 high explosive rockets or let the helicopter drop 100kg bumbs

      I'd love to see that! I do believe that the vehicles in the future will not be stratagem sadly but I'd like to see a helicopter stratagem nonetheless!

      Bomber stratagem is NOT confirmed. He only showed a rough dev image, and never said it was a thing. Carpet bomb stratagem was leaked months ago.

    The UAV strategem from HD1 would be nice. Essentially a guard dog backpack that acts like a radar, revealing enemies, samples, secondaries, POIs, and nests/factories on the map. Does no damage.

      This would especially good on the planets with the weird green atmosphere that blocks the POIs icons.

      i never played helldiver 1, but uav being able to drop stratagem beacons would be insane. maybe it needs to pick them up from a player, but being able to eg carry a laser to a base 200 meters away would make it genuinely useful

      it didn't drop beacons or hold anything for you, but was basically a radar tower on cooldown. instantly revealed everything on the map at the low low cost of 1 stratagem slot.

    I want eagle air superioroty. Basically eagle flies around for a while and shoots down dropships. Leaked air to air missile isn't it, nobody would use it.

      @@HughJass901 I'd definitely use it on automaton missions. I always bring airburst and the bomb specifically to shut down automaton drop. If I could shut down all 3 dropships at once I'd bring it every mission.

      ​@@HughJass901 Not every stratagem has to be good in every situation. That's why we (and I'm speaking real world here) have different kinds of guns, planes, knives, axes, etc. Different tools for different jobs. Also, the Helldivers aren't actually supposed some super elite and competent military unit. They're fueled by zealotry for Super Earth and so will jump into Hell (heehee) for it. That's what separates them from normal SEAF units. I mean SEAF units got a 72-hour basic training. We got a 10 minute obstacle course. But I think that's just part of the satirical, tongue-in-cheek nature of the series

    The Fulton recovery in video games didn't start with CoD.
    It's became a thing in gaming with *"Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker"*
    Eventually we got MGS: V PP
    Complete with the improved Fulton Recovery System.
    Can use it against other players and vehicles.
    So far it's the only game where you can use it other than colleting people. lol

      Yes but I never said that Call of Duty started with it first. I was giving a comparison or example. Call of Duty is a multiplayer/PVE so it was easier to compare that since it is a PVE/Multiplayer game like Helldivers 2. MGS Peacewalker is a Singleplayer. Which is why I didn't throw that example in. And again I never said call of duty was first.

      MGS Peacewalker can be multiplayer via adhoc.
      Eventually we got MGS V Phantom Pain, also multiplayer. Fulton Recovery feature included and improved.

      MGS Peacewalker is Multiplayer too via adhoc.
      Either Coop or PVP
      Eventually we got MGS:5 PP
      Complete with the improved Fulton Recovery Feature, which you can use against other players and vehicles.
      It's the only game where you can use the Fulton Recovery system more than just collecting.

      You can change your gear while you choose your stratagems so you can look at the mission map and plan accordingly but most people are in a big rush to hurry up and dive they don’t notice that

      @@Vanguard_Spartan_00762 I know this. But I don't want to have to manually change everything about my load out for every single mission. If I had a saved load out interface, I can just pick one thing, instead of five (not including stratagems).

      For that to work best we would need a better description of what enemies are in the mission like are there orange spewers vs armored bile spewers or gunships vs no gunships

    Frankly i don't care about anything else I just want the patrol spawns fixed. I shouldn't be overwhelmed by heavy devestators on a medium difficulty mission. To the point where everytime I drop in I get spawn killed instantly.

      Yep it should be a player selectable toggle.
      “Difficulty” only determines enemy mix, I genuinely find suicidal easier than challenging or even medium sometimes because ONE big thing will replace a full pack of 3-6 devastators/hunters/spewers/walkers(they annoy me with their lanky strafing and pinpoint 2-tap), by comparison a charger/hulk are way less annoying to deal with.
      As to enemy NUMBERS those should be toggles set by the host, AH clearly can’t be trusted to balance the enemy density at this point, just tie an xp/req slider to enemy volume and patrol rate.

      @ryanlink8699 helldive has been hit and miss for me in terms of difficulty. Even with a full team, there are times we get super overwhelmed with a half dozen chargers and four Titans vs. bugs. Other times, it's quite tame. But especially for lower difficulties like mediums, there should hardly be any challenge. I enjoy more solo play, though, so having heavy devestators surround you the minute you drop in after a death is just stupid for lower difficulties.

      ​@ryanlink8699 wrong. I tried "challenging" and I had 20 rocket devs spawn from ONE dropship. They literally were all merged into a pile of hell that ended up friendly firing each other because of the wack spawn rate.

    I would love a "Rods from God" strategem.
    Can only be called once every five minutes but drops the equivalence of the Mini Nukes from Artillery.

      Meanwhile, I would be perfectly happy being able to add shells into there SEAF Artillery after completing the side objective. Why can’t I load in another shell or two if I am passing the area again? Bonus points if we could call in artillery shells from the super destroyer to load in.

    I think a support helicopter would be dope. It could have rocket pods and a Gatling gun or auto cannon and cluster bomb. A combination airborne sentry.

      Hmm that is something I'd like to see as well. The helicopter follows you around and helps assist with taking out enemies. I like this one!

      Pelican-1 gun support/loiter. He does it already when standing by at exfil. Just have pelican 1 loiter around the helldiver who called him in. 2-4 minutes maybe

      An ac-130 gunship or helo gunner position would be awesome too but, we are the divers, not eagle 1 pilots. Calling in the pelican could definitely work tho. They wouldn't have to add an asset to the destroyer, they could balance it by adding 2 guns and halfing the ammo.

    I use Voice Attack to have voice-activated stratagems. I'm not any faster than other helldivers at activating stratagems, but it feels WAY cooler to say Call: Orbital 380 than to type in a key combo. My brother went the wizard route with his voice commands, so he says "I cast METEOR SWARM" and the 380s come raining down.

      @@starsixseven9259 it's a program called Voice Attack on Steam. It uses voice commands to activate macros. You can get a free demo for up to 20 commands, and the paid version with unlimited commands is inexpensive. I also enjoy it for ship games of all sorts. It's way more dramatic to say "Torpedo evasion, Emergency deep!" than to press W five times and press E six times.

    In helldivers one there was a decoy beacon that would attract enemies to that area for a period of time, I’ve always ran that on lvl 10 difficulty back in 2017.

    Question is what good does the Medipack do?
    Does it give you full stims?
    Does one kit just fully heal you?
    Both those options even combined wouldn't justify it, since the normal backpack give you stims too. So unless they are splitting it and essentially nerfing the backpack, a Medipack would be a straight downgrade from a normal ammo backpack that gives you three things at once. Ammo, Grenades and Stims.
    Sure you could argue, it doesn't give you full stims, but that still doesn't make it that much better of a choice to be used.
    Now.. one option that would actually do something for that Medipack is if you could revive a player if he didn't lose a limb. Or to give an example. Player 1 has the Medipack. Player 2 gets shot to pieces and therefore can't be revived. Player 3 however died from impact and is still "complete" and can be revived with the Medipack.

      That would be useful for when all reinforcements have been depleted or when the timer runs out and the destroyer leaves low orbit

    I’ve yet to see people talk about the bug where the extract will just leave with only one person inside the ship regardless of how much time is remaining. It’s absolutely frustrating

    Something to retrieve samples/items that get lost due to helldivers drowning or falling into pits… a splash damage stratagem that always lands from directly above for those moments you need a lot of damage in those tight spots between rocks

    Zues orbital strategem. Similar to the rail gun/laser. Can only be called 3 times per mission like the laser, but hits like the rail gun. Calls down a lightning strike on the largest enemy, doing massive damage and chaining to smaller targets in area. Coordination with other helldivers is recommended.
    I also want a canister shell recoiless rifle. Imagine the recoiless rifle, but instead of a anti tank warhead, you have shells loaded with 1200 ball bearings. Shoulder mounted airburst strike.

    I'd really like to see an eagle strat that encourages and protects people trying to accomplish a single objective away from the team. Something like an MMO tank with a taunt feature. Different from smoke effects that just obscure the player while they're running making shots miss more, the taunt could be super high armor pen, super low damage over an extended period of time. That way EVERYTHING takes a small amount of damage causing them to look at it as a high threat target and stop firing at the player until it's either destroyed or the duration ends. It'd be extremely useful in a multitude of situations, including when bots drop large numbers of berserkers, or there's 3 plus elites chasing a single player, and it comes with the trade off of not actually being destructive.

    I find the idea that new planets unlock different stratagems very cool, yet it also makes sense. We already so many planets, sure, however, those planets are already busy doing other things, so it makes sense that we would take planets from the enemy and put their purpose towards a specific stratagem. And while I wasn’t yet in service when this first happened with us choosing between planets, I think it makes more sense that some planets have the materials for mass-production of said stratagems, so if we take the planet we get access to them, and perhaps if we hold the planet for long enough, we can get a “stockpiled” bonus to make the stratagem usable faster since production has been uninterrupted.
    Another thing is, perhaps some planets should just be a case of “take this planet, and we will begin production of ‘X’ product” with production starting out slow (so a really quite unusable length of time) and then ramping up (production eventually getting quite fast). Perhaps the level that is required for you to purchase access to it changes as production ramps up as well, akin to the idea of more of said stratagem being available.

    Well here goes ,
    Ideas:
    - add loadout pages for a quicker loadout selection depending on mission type / enemies.
    - after the release of the emancipator robot, why not add the possibility of changing the loadout/setup of the mechs ?
    1 - add a shield ( like the Heavy Devastator)
    2- machine gun
    3- missile launcher
    4- autocanon turret
    5- flame thrower
    This way, the use of mechs would be something more fun, viable, and even perhaps a "go to" stratagem.
    *ps - weapons could not be reloaded (as it is currently)
    - changing the color of the mech to a limited color pallet.
    - Add different stats for the helmets and bonuses.
    - unlock more stratagem slots ( with some really dificult (helldive only) missions, like a raid or smth)
    - eagle stratagem - would come and provide air support in the area (like when arriving for pickup) for 30 secs ( time to be adjusted)
    - lure granade (pheromons or hologram)
    - reinforcement disruptor backpack
    - Stratagem- deployable barrier 10/15m

    The bomber’s 4 engine remind me of the AC-130’s 4 propellers.
    Maybe it doesn’t necessarily need to be a bomber, as the Eagle already has that covered, but it could have turrets on the bottom that aim at enemies?

    honestly the SE bomber reminds me of the UNSC Longsword. Also the wings from the image seem way too small compared to how big they are in the image when comparing them to the cockpit glass. seems like it would be the tail wing at best

    For Eagle Strikes I would like the ability to select the ordnance drop direction. Right now it hits perpendicular to your line of sight when you throw it, some level of control would be welcome as some times strikes are ineffective due to terrain or positioning.
    As for additional strikes the Eagle covers just about every use case for close air support with the current weapon systems. Only thing I would think would be a cool addition would be a laser you can use to designate the target for rocket pods, 500kgs and strafing runs. Make it a pistol and when weapon customization comes out make it rifle mounted. Think the transformers scene where they laser the decipticon for the air strike. Could help make some of eagle strats more effective but require some skill as well, trading out a secondary for the laser with a big grind to get the weapon mount version for balance purposes.
    For any others, ammo back-pack for machine guns and flamethrower. Not a supply pack but a big ol pack with a belt/tube to the weapon.
    The large bomber seems like a cool idea, my only concern is the potential overlap with the Eagle, needs to be a use case for each. Maybe bomber is more fire power but once spent its gone vs the eagle which is less firepower but rearms and reenters the battle space. Bomber also is not a close air support option, so I could see a use case in some mission types.
    A uav strat for an over head recon drone would be a very welcome addition for recon, scouting and observation could also be upgraded to provide additional buffs and functions such as more precise targeting for stratagems, patrol rate reduction or things like that. Perhaps its balanced in that bot gunships and shreikers can take it down as well as the bot AA emplacement and/or stratagem jammer.
    The Fulton recovery system for samples is a cool idea but could also be a mission strategem for recovery of *insert something important*.
    Honestly they need to fix a lot of what the weapon balance team screwed up before adding anything new.

    An eagle stratagem similar to the eagle rearm stratagem except this one makes the eagle use one of each missile/bomb you still have left unused.
    So you can combine a napalm strike with a 500kg or a cluster with a smoke or 3 of them together. Could call it the kitchen sink.

    Deploy-able Chaff to scramble enemy reinforcement locations by 100 yards or so like they do to our stratagems.

    I THINK that idea of a raid to acquire strategems will be useful for example get the antitank mine, a planet deep in enemy terrytory is said to have the blue prints to acquiere and to acquire it for all helldivers you have to complete as a comunity a certain amount of those mission, with that been said any helldiver that play the mission will unlock it as a plus strategem and if the major order fails all helldivers that participated will have acces to this strategem for like 1 or 2 weeks until super earth starts mass production.

    a drone, you chose the layout, bomb, guns,laser, radar, while using you are open to attack. return to you for reload or also have a cooldown to get if you've used it as suicide attack , also it would be cool to see your called in stratagem's such as eagle air in 1st person? from their view.

    how about a ship upgrade + strategem. The ship upgrade would add a sample/credit/medal/slip scanner. Once upgraded, it could be used to "radar ping" them (strategem form) which would show them up on the map as "colored" zones (like enemy POIs are red) and that fade over time until cooldown is reached and another ping can be done. This would help those of us who have a hard time finding all the collection items and for those who are completionists and want to get every collection item on the map. Currently the radar POI on the surface only shows locations and not if you have gotten all the collectable items there.

    Honestly the mention of the exo-49 is what brought me back to wanting toplay, i got to test it before mechs where a thing through a hacker/beta tester and it smoked a bile titan in 7 rapid shots before the thing could even react to being shot. It was something else and i would gladly take it into battle over the patriot

    Personally what I'd really like to see is a dedicated ATA strategem for dealing with gunships/dropships and shriekers. Most of the strategems we got are solely ATG, I would like to see a dedicated interceptor if you will like the initial F-15 or F-22 and have them linger for like 15-20 seconds to give us enough breathing room to deal with the nests/factories via hell bomb. AH can even just use both the Eagle and or Pelican assets already in game for this role, no real need to make another model which would just lengthen the time frame before we can actually use the strategem.

    Eagle gas strike would be cool. Also it would be interesting if there were an air to air fighter that you could call in for gunships, bot drops or shriekers. Pretty niche, but something to think about?

    More objective specific call ins like the SEAF Artillary. Maybe on maps with the automated anti air platforms you could receive a new support weapon that could be used as a target painter. Change how the anti air missiles launch for the target designator to launch vertical then b line to the painted location. On the subject of mini mechs- have 4 foot tall 4 legged suicide mechs with bombs that target larger enemies. A backpack that has a drone with infrared that can mark nearby hostiles with a nonintrusive dot (including stalkers). Thermite launcher support weapon. cooperative stationary mortar launcher platform. a hacking device that, for automatons could hack a targe make it friendly, the larger the target the longer it takes- and for the termanids it would emit a sonic pulse that stuns. some sort of micro missile pod support weapon. a pheromone grenade to make the enemies attack each other. melee weapons, i dont know if i should see a psychiatrist for this but i REALLY wanna chainsaw a termanid.

    A pulse grenade would be cool. One that when it exploded it creates a circular ring that pans out and enlarges for a second and clears out everything in its reach. It would be helpful to clear out bugs. Can be deadly to helldivers if thrown too close.

    I personally think eagle *dropping captured bugs on the bots* or *dropping captured bots on the bugs* would be fun. To see the two enemy factions fight each other.

      Different suggestion that perhaps makes more sense.
      We already know super earth would never dare touch or use enemy technology (automatons are walking weapons created by our enemies)
      HOWEVER
      Perhaps we’d be able to summon something that rather turns enemies on the field against each other. Bugs, some sort of pheromone chemical that caused them to attack each other. Bots, a hack in their targeting system.
      Now THAT feels like the super earth way. A tool created by super earth, for super earth.

    Airstrike support option: Sky-Hook Assist player shoots a flair into the air and teammates are prompted to answer whoever answers is picked up by a passing jet and dropped near player who shot flair.
    This strategm will help teammates respond to other player requests, (help me take this objective or open this bunker. Or get me to extraction ASAP).

      yeah this would have to be a orbital strike and hopefully focus on small enemies only. nothing worse when u waste a laser on a titan or charger. ... however sometimes u need that from it so thats why id like two different lasers

    Ever since I've been seeing that large crashed aircraft in some maps and the leaked carpet bomb and nuke stratagem, I had a strong feeling that it was all going to be a part of a heavy bomber class of stratagems where they'd be too OP for the 2min reload time of an eagle.

      no. that is the trade off for more protection. i mostly use medium armor for bots and light for bugs

    A bomber stratagem that will have the attack patter of the gun eagle strike but have bombs that roll on the ground to an enemy. Sense it is massive bomber, it can have four lanes and three bombs per lane.

    I have afew ideas that can be mix and matched, basically a multi part missile that breaks into 2 or 3 parts. They can be dropped like a 500kg or smoke, showing the impact then another stage can take place. Say, there's a 2 part that when it breaks apart, the tip is a high speed electromagnetic field that will hit the mobs first stunning them then the 2nd part can be the explosion/ or 2nd part breaks into alot of smaller homing missiles/ bombs. Could also be the opposite. Big explosion then it breaks off to smaller electromagnetic bombs so what's left is stuck in the field. Could mix in poison gas/ napalm . If there was a 3 part or another 2 part. It could be a wide range cluster bomb with a high yeild center. Consider a 500kg and cluster combine but 1 or 2 drops with the high yeild center. Make the zone after high yeild like give fire damage for afew sec like napalm.
    One that breaks up into mini homing missiles would be pretty cool.. or one you point a lazer/ maker on target for it to be hit

    It’d be cool if they added some plasma support weapons and overhauled plasma in general to be something like WH40k, very effective but will blow you up if you overheat them. Additionally, if they had a sweet spot heat window where you got some sort of stat benefit for shooting in the weapons ideal temperature range would be very engaging

    I want the jeep or apc that has been spoiled in the game files, it would be great for driving around and looking for those rare samples.
    I would like a vehicle with a built in defense system that shoots down incoming missiles with a laser like the modern day laser defense systems.
    A vehicle with a massive bubble shield like the mobile shield battery in star wars battle of naboo.

    Support equipment: Rising Banner of the Patriots.
    A flag with a relay beacon embedded.
    Significantly reducing fatalities from most friendly bombardment around the Helldiver carrying the flag by avoiding direct fire on their position.
    8% cool down on other stratagems while flag is equipped.
    30 second reduction on extraction.
    But enemies will be more aware and aggressive towards the Flag carrier and anyone near it.

    That oldschool Skyhook extraction idea would be fun as hell. Inflating a balloon on your position and a Eagle comes in, grabs it and pulls/yeets you 300m in the direction you threw it would be just amazing for getting around. Just need to use that balloon to float your way back down safely provided your not way out of bounds...

    I want an escort drone from black ops 2. Maybe follows you around like a guard dog but in the air and is equipped with a few rockets to to get rid of dropships and heavies and a rotary nose gun for the small things. Kind of like the mech but as a support style peice of equipment instead of a tanky artillery peice that works about as good as the rocket sentry

    on havin sample extrection, HELL YES! I get to many randos who dont care about them and have even screwed me out of ALOT of samples by extracting while im trying to get them normally or back.
    And I'm on pc and thanks to a .45 goin threw my hand i have to use a controller. But them bein nice about the macros is awsome!

    Eagle swooping claws - Deploy it and the eagles will strafe the area once a minute for three minutes and shoot down aerial opponents and tall opponents/objectives. ex: Bile titants, factory striders, various towers, screechers, nests/spore spewers, Bot drops/gunships etc.
    Guard dog house - Can be deployed in the field by throw or can be deployed from the minimap by tagging an objective before entering the code. Deploys a hellbomb sized object that has the equivalent of four guard dogs/rover backpacks. The doghouse can be destroyed and once destroyed the guard dogs stop fighting when their clip goes dry/overheads. They will hunt around the dog house and return to it if no enemy's detected on scanners/sight. Divers can remove a dog from the doghouse or from the ground if the doghouse was destroyed and take it as a backpack slot.
    Bouncing betties - Motion sensor based mine. Mine launches into the air in the direction of the motion shooting flachette in 360 degree arc before landing and blowing up like a standard grenade. Betties or their shrapnel do not trigger each other but flying bodies may.
    Salvo batteries - Que a line of 4 of a single turret type (4 mortars, 4 autocannon etc). 3 uses per match and a call in time that is 5x that of the single variant.

    Please add a "Weapon Bench" terminal that allows for customization of your primary. I personally love the Diligence Counter Sniper but dislike its confining scope that is just the AMR one. Id love to be able to place the standard Diligence scope onto the DCS. =)

    Lure grenades, ether giving the machine gun turret med armor penetration or turn the Gatling turret into a laser turret, I do like the autonomous mechs and garand ping, give me a shovel or broom melee weapon, and I’d prefer a REALLY short cape (make it look shredded or something).

    its great that strategems macros isn't totally a cheat/hated by the devs, i saw a guy that made a voice activation for strategems, its like a macro but it works by saying something like "call suplies" or "call 500kg" and if they started to ban this auto strategems it would be kinda sad because this voice thing is super cool

    Give us the mininuke as an orbital strategem. 3 uses per mission, 5 minute cooldown. Maybe instead of buying it like you normally would as a strategem, integrate it into the destroyer upgrade system.

    I'd be already happy to see the stuff from HD1 showing up already. The UAV, tank, Expendable machinegun and... my Justice. With the bayonet. Or the Trident (at this point, afraid to even ask how much nerfed to the ground that would come out)
    Btw I am sadly with the guys that quit/got turned away by the constant nerfs. The Eruptor was the final nail in the coffin for me and the PP Warbont just sealed the deal. I don't feel like getting into the game not even for checking the warmap. This really makes me sad because I still love the game, and have hope for it... But I want the fun be put back into it, else I'll find something else to play. Easy is that.
