Thank you so much! My anxiety has been quite high recently and this definitely helps to ground myself and bring me back to the present moment when I’m feeling anxious.
Thank you so much from a grateful Scotsman. I am finding your videos very helpful and look forward to continuing using your anxiety reducing techniques going forward!
Thanks, Rachel! It's quite an Aladdin's Cave of resources you've provided over the years, enhanced by the sincere kindness with which you present your videos. You're the first channel I suggest to anyone who is experiencing emotional or physical tension.
This helped me so much. Lately my brain has been getting buzzy and my jaw has been locking. Starting to feel like I’m going crazy. This helped. Finally some relief!
Graat timing as my stress and anxiety levels seem to be through the roof at the moment. On an unrelated note - I read Glass Half Broken this week and it absolutely blew me away!
So glad it was helpful! And thank you so much for reading my new book! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. If you have a chance, it would be a huge help if you could leave a review on Amazon. Thanks again, and wishing you a calm and restful week!
Thank you so much Rachel. I was having a dreadful attack tonight, I usually use your take 5 breathing technique, along with the video, as I find it even more calming. This 4-7-8 breathing was brilliant, and really worked - my go to channel for relief,

It takes time for blood pressure to go down when you get anxiety or panic. But the first thing that happens before the blood pressure goes down is emotional and mental clarity. Thats what breathing exercises do. Then in few minutes the blood pressure goes down with it. The mind gets balanced first then the blood pressure follows. It may take 20 or 40 minutes. Or 5 minutes fir the blood pressure to follow sometimes but it will follow and go down. Then mind and body is balanced. But sometimes the breathing exercises help anxiety and blood pressure very quickly fir some. So its different but sometimes it takes time.
Theres also a rapid exhalation version of this technique that puts you in the hypnotic state. Just press the sides of your tongue between the back rows of your teeth and exhale as hard as you can. I have not found a technique for a longer stronger exhale than this one.
If the dizziness is in fact a symptom of anxiety without any other underlying cause, then it is likely that reducing anxiety will reduce related dizziness.
