Я более бесполезной приблуды ещё не видал. Торцовка с этим прекрасно справляется, на своей я спокойно распилю двумя пилами 680 мм. А ещё быстрее распущу болгаркой с сильным диском по дереву.
Square metal tube are not straight, mainly by the way they are produced and shipped. I did mine with a 50x30 mm tracks, but for the carriage guides I used 1x1x1/4 in extruded aluminum L shape with 6 hex bolts screwed to the metal tube so that I could adjust the straightness of the guides, The track saw I did is 2.20 meters long so I am able to cut MDF panels, and I also made Circular saw bed with fixtures to install a Router if I ever need to route something long. Just a tip !
planning to build a big cnc machine but im torn on the price for a steel round and the limitations of its sizes.. i just amazed at how he used square metal and bearings as his track and planning to adopt it instead of linear bearings.. with your tip may i see how you have done yours,, just to debate my ideas on what to use.. thank you
Slider looks nice.... The table clamping system is a bit primitive though... Clamping down a piece of wood with a wrench is slow not to mention a pain. What about large plastic knobs on the bolts?
Excellent idea and presentation. This design could easily be expanded to do full sheet (4' x 8') cutting as well for cabinet work. Kudos for the simple design!
@@TadoCreation Yes ! The only improvement I would maybe do (a little bit more complexes) is to have 4 ball baring rolling *FLAT* on each side of the square hollow tube, precisely for a lengthy full board cuts. I have a feeling that the *Flat* way is more stable and subject to *less* wear and tear / calibration. The *Flat* way also will not create channels on the tubes/axes.
@@TadoCreation can you help with the material name and size. I will create this , it looks sturdy enough to cut entire ply of 8*4 as wayne said. Please provide the details
@@TadoCreation They gave you thumbs down a little bit , because the equipment is cheap ! Hehe "They" think those axes - which are really sqare hollow tubes - are inaccurate . If you showed them how you tested the Tubes / axes with a Micrometer , they would have Thunbs You up to death. Very expensive No Rust round axes with like SBR25 for examples - are very accurate. But even there , the ball bearring tiny balls are heaving a "small game" (Your game / spill is LOWER than that, because you do not have ball bearings, and you can calibrate this "game" to a minimum). If you tested their accuracy , I surrely prefer your method, and NOT because it is cheap. Also only one of the Tubes / Axes / Rods have to be streight edge accurate *HORIZONTALLY* only in order for your setup To work like a charm, since it is so cheap then you can do a tool to cut up to a full board length with THICKER square tube . *¡¡¡ BUEN TRABAJO !!!* Un Cordial saludo.

Oh no, super dangerous drilling like that. I used to always drill that way without clamping until a strip of steel exactly like that got caught on the bit and spun rapidly, cutting my thumb. Could have been worse if I didn't pull away. See how fast the bit spins, that's how fast the piece will spin.

wow, it's clear that using nut and wrench with bench clamp is much easier than using wooden knob for mechanistic 😅 I think 16 ball bearing and two square tubes is too complex and heavy pattern, but the idea was really deserved

Cool but a lot of work for something you can make with 2 straight pieces of wood. Screw down a smaller guide onto a piece of larger wood, put the circular saw fence and cut the wood, thats it. Now you have a guide as small or long as you want to make it and portable.
Would you please give me a list of all the hardware and materials you used to make this along with all your cut measurements. I would really like to make myself one. It's really the best one I've seen.
The lower bearrings lose in material thickness..because they are lower than the hight of the circular base...so that makes this jig to lose in material thickness you are able to cut. If the lower bearings will be at least at the same hight with the circular base...then you gain the exact material thickness you can cut with it.. as the blade alows you. Other than that.. is a simple jig .. to do your job. Cheers.

My complements, that a very good idea. Could have save meself a fortune on raidal arm saw
Many thanks for your suggestions!
Why you think, that this id cheaper then a radial saw. Don't meantion the different in time you need with this system.
What I meant was I could have used this idea, as a starting point a radial arm saw. There's a similar example in a workshop I used to work in
Excelente trabalho, porém acho que seria menos trabalhoso se usa-se borboletas no lugar das porcas para fixar a peça que será cortada.
Very good

Amazing to what lengths people go to avoid learning to make straight freehand cuts. Nice engineering, though.
Awesome. Much respect

Love it. Would butterfly nuts be quicker for you instead of a spanner or do they get in the way of the saw
Butterfly nuts is convenient when adjust the saw.
