Software Update on iPhone is a very big trap. Instead of fixing issues, it spoils ur peaceful life with many new problems. The most common are battery drains, heating issues while charging, eats away ur storage a lot. Never fall in to such traps. I am regretting updates from my original version. The original version is always the best.

Thanks for your advice. There are some conveniences that are still not part of the phones capability. I'm amazed that there is no note shortcut on the iMessage clickable column of choices (widgets?) (Apple Pay, photos, camera, audio messaging etc.
and is the anyway to streamline editing iPhotos, which continually has the location and photo detail, always taking up most of the screen which then takes four or five extra moves just get it disappeared. Thanks!

Yes, WiFi is less aggressive than mobile network especially if you are in poor coverage. At home, I am always on Air plane mode / WiFi only

No change in configuration or usage habits and my battery is draining from 100 to 35% in only 5h after upgrading to 15.5.1. Why ?!

Apple needs to remove the Battery health and cycle feature. Use your phone or buy a battery pack and stop focusing and monitoring the battery. Battery life varies on apps and how the network is in the area.
