You’re such a good Mother. I feel like everything you do is geared towards providing your kiddos with the best possible life they could have and setting them up for a promising future.
Jen, First I want to THANK YOU for doing vlogmas again this year. I know you are a very busy woman. I truly appreciate you taking the time to make these videos for us. I NEVER miss a one of your videos. I find them so fun, interesting, great tips, recipes, teaching us better ways to feed our families. Please tell Adam that we need a basement update soon. I can’t wait to see what he has gotten done since the last one. Hope you have a wonderful & Blessed week!
In the crockpot my family loves beef and broccoli with snow peas. It cooks all day then I just add a little cornstarch slurry when I get home and cook my rice. My son loves it.
Fav crockpot EASY meal....small jar of apricot preserves and 1 cup of catalina dressing, 1 packet of onion soup mix, pour over 4 small chicken breast in crockpot...cook for 4 to 6 hrs on high serve over rice or egg noodles....soooo good, kinda taste like a bbq sauce.
We love beef tips in the crockpot. Just dump 1-2lbs of tips or stew meat, 2 cans Campbell’s beef gravy with one packet of beefy onion dried soup mix. Stir. Cook on low 6ish hours. Then for extra laziness, get yourself some Bob Evans mashed potatoes. It’s about as easy as a crockpot meal can get!
We always do this taco quinoa bean bowls (with ground Turkey if we have it/can find some.) We don’t really use a recipe just 1 can black beans, 1 can of any other bean you have, 1 can diced tomatoes, 1 box of chicken broth, 1-2 cups or quinoa, handful of kale or spinach, 1 packet of taco seasoning, then add whatever toppings you like! It’s our favorite. You can do it in the instant pot or slow cooker.
Wow! Look at all that snow! We were thrilled here in my area of TX to get our one day of snow Sunday. LOL! It's been about 5 years since we had snow. That's how I usually cut my biscuits, too...since I cook them in my cast iron skillet.
My son's fave: Beer Brisket. 1 brisket ( I usually aim for around 4 lbs), 1 jar chili sauce, 1 pack Lipton onion soup mix, 1 bottle of beer. Throw everything in the crockpot, cook on low for at least 8 hours. I typically serve over egg noodles or mashed potatoes. Delish!
We had BLTs & fries this week as well & it was so well received. Yum - sometimes the simplest meals are the most rewarding! Thanks for a great Vlogmas!
Lately,I’ve been making a recipe from Pinterest for Mongolian beef. From Dinner at the Zoo. It is super tender, fast & easy. I cook it in the crockpot on low 5-6 hours and serve over rice. I added big chunks of cut up white onion, and red & green bell pepper. Really good! Love your channel!
Hey ❤ Hope all is well with you and your family!! Just love all your videos you post. Hope you dont mind me asking but would you consider doing a video on how you budget? Planner, supplies??
I’m catching up binge watching on my day off. Glad to see you back! Thank you for being a good role model for us nurses! Sometimes people forget we also have a lot to juggle...looking forward to your cookbook! Happy New Year to you and your family! Jen, could you do a review of the pots and pans you use that you really like to cook in? Thanks!
Would you consider doing another vegan challenge? I found it super helpful last time and would love your take on more vegan recipes :) Love your videos, Happy New Year! ❤️
My family favorite is seasoned chicken breast in the crock pot with a can of Chipotle peppers. I make rice and corn on the side. Once done I put the rice, corn and chicken in a bowl and top with mozzarella cheese and salsa with tortilla chips and limes. So yum 😋 ( we like spicy food so I add cayenne pepper to the seasoning)
Making this chili on Friday night! Me and the hubby love chili!! My kids do not but I will make hotdogs for them which they will love! I live in VA and we have been getting snow lately! I love when we do!
You are such a joy and have become a huge part of my life:) My hubby loves biscuits and gravy and I make them often. I make bacon gravy as I can't eat sausage:( Just love your channel! Stay warm!!!!!!
I started filming at 9pm last night and didn’t get to bed until 2am! 😅 but I got the video up for this morning in time, you inspire me so much to work harder 💗💗
I really enjoyed the recipe for white chicken chili. I followed the recipe from eatliverun. So now I want to make your recipe. It’s really different. I really enjoy your channel and all the work you put into it. I look forward to your videos every day
I got a crockpot recipe from Jessica o'donoghue and it is boneless skinless chicken, the olive garden italian dressing, parmesan cheese and cream cheese. It is so rich but so simple. I serve it on top of egg noodles
I listened to your interview today on the Work Life Glue podcast. It was so awesome and I’m even more impressed with your journey. I loved the message “You can have it all, just not all at once”.
Now I want quiche! 😂 I haven’t had any in awhile. I make a spinach, onion and mushroom one that I love. I need to try making some other flavors. Great video as always! ❤️
I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets emotional over the end of Vlogmas. For one thing, it means the beginning of a two-week video wasteland while everybody takes well-deserved time off to recover. Next, I'm always sorry to see the holiday season end, and Vlogmas has turned into a really big part of the season. I "found" you during Vlogmas, so that was a happy thing, and now we're on the other side of the wasteland so all is well again. All of this was kind of my long-winded way of saying I appreciate you and your videos. I'm next door in MN, so I can relate to the weather woes!
Rich Brown steak dinner Spray interior of slow cooker place any tougher cut of meat such as cube steak round steak etc. Pork works too Season meat with salt and pepper Cut into serving size pieces Put in bottom of cooker Peel and thinly slice a sm/med onion and ring it on top of the meat. Or more if you really like onions Peel and halve potatoes place on top of meat Peel carrots and cut into larger pieces 2" ea Pour 1 can of cream of mushroom soup or 2 if you are making for more than 4-6 people Then what makes this is put 1-2 Bay leaves on top nestled into the soup. Cook on low 6-8 hours depending on your cooker. It is very tender and full of flavor. A family favorite! Enjoy
I hate having to do the ice thing. Glad we are on a dirt road. We just dig into the hillside and throw it on the road. I painted the trim when we built, what a pain. When I replaced the trim, I painted it BEFORE we installed it. Only thing we had to do was the touch up. I do all the pots and pans by hand. Three of us and we run it every other day.
I’m always amazed at WHAT you put in your dishwasher. We hand wash so much. We don’t put in any pots or pans. No plastic food storage containers. No water bottles or travel coffee cup type things.
I had one of those friends, too. I'm kind of an introvert so without her I would have no good memories of my poor decisions to look back on fondly. You are not a weirdo, I miss all my vlogmas people. Thanks for sharing.
Hey there Jenny! Your not weird, I'm actually quite sad that vlogmas is over too. I watched every video and I enjoyed watching them at night before bed. I'm so mad I live in south Mississippi, and Texas and parts of northern Mississippi got snow but no such luck here!! I miss it being t a northern girl born and bred. I know y'all were probably pretty tired after that snow shoveling but I miss it.
I love cottage cheese but I don't like it when it's not creamy, so I add half and half creamer to the container and it comes out fantastic, try this if you agree with me.
I did a spin on al pastor pork in my slow cooker. I used Chef Merito's al pastor marinade on the pork roast. I also used oranges, garlic, onions, and orange juice, threw it all in the slow cooker. I shredded the pork once it finished and served over cilantro lime rice. It was such a hit.
HeyJen, Sandy here. I hardly ever comment, but I’ve been watching you for a LONG time and you always get a big (MUCH DESERVED thumbs-up)!!! I really enjoy your channel & whatever content you decide give us, GREAT JOB Jen !!!, on Vlogmas, along with all the other Content you give us! I don’t know where the hell you find the time, energy, or the motivation to do all you do !!!! Just wanted toTHANK YOU for sharing! See ya on the next one ! Sandy
I love the lack of people shopping Sunday nights. However, I feel like the stock is always super low on Sunday nights. So it depends on how much I need certain items if I risk going grocery shopping Sunday nights or not! :)
Hi Jen! I just wanted to ask, is this the crock pot chicken chilli receipe from your cookbook? I saw one of your videos the other day where you made your cookbook chicken chilli, now I can't seem to find the video. Just wanted to check as you said it was your favourite receipe from your cookbook and I wanted to make it for my family :) Have a great day!
Is it just me or does everyone miss Jen when she’s not posting videos? Miss you Jen!!!
Love the silver and black heart earrings! Super cute.
You’re such a good Mother. I feel like everything you do is geared towards providing your kiddos with the best possible life they could have and setting them up for a promising future.

I don’t have a crockpot but love watching the recipes still! I’m saving them for when I eventually get one 🤗
That broccoli quiche and cottage cheese looked so delicious! Will have to find a recipe and make!
It would me ok with all of us for you to continue Vlogmas everyday, all year long. Lol. ♥️
My favorite crockpot recipe is the sesame chicken I just made the other day. It was amazing!! I can’t recommend it enough!!

Thanks Jen, I was feeling unmotivated but cleaned my kitchen while watching tonight.
The brand of harissa, Mina, also has a yummy shakshuka sauce. I got it in my last Thrive box and ordered it again last week. So good!
I wish your snowy weather would come to England it’s so pretty if you don’t have to go out !!
Have you tried the cheddar biscuits with crumbled bacon mixed in?
If she hasn’t, I will! That sounds amazing!!!
@@lilirayanne98 Right? The biscuits themselves are so good!
Wow. I got some good food ideas while watching this.

So many yummy snack choices! I try not to keep too many snacks in the house and recently stopped buying chips but man, I miss it 😂
You have to try Crock Pot Picadillo! Skinny Taste’s recipe is great! We make a few tweaks, but it’s such a great base recipe.
Loved your intro! You guys outside was sweet! I live outside of Chicago and we got the same ice storm...hahahah
Hey Jen great video. Thanks for sharing!
You just said you feel cranky. COFFEE JEN, GO GET COFFEE. LOL
Murphy helping Moma with ice 😁

Now I want quiche! 😂 I haven’t had any in awhile. I make a spinach, onion and mushroom one that I love. I need to try making some other flavors. Great video as always! ❤️
Conversation hearts taste like sidewalk chalk in my opinion. Sweet tarts are better

Murphy seems to be a good supervisor when your scraping ice😀🐶
Haha! My mom would always say “I’ll sleep when I’m dead”. She was a busy woman!

My daughter has the same Crocs....she calls them her “lemon pepper steppers”. Love your vlogs!

Jen, what brand are your goldish colored baking sheets?
It’s a spade. I’m from Ohio and have used those many times before. Love your channel thanks for all you do.
Harissa is actually pronounced (hareesa) my husband is from libya and he calls siracha harissa. Any hot sauce is called harissa in our house .

I love that you get emotional at the end of Vlogmas because I do too...it means I don't get to see you every day.
Here for all the motivation I need to film later tonight! 🙌
Like the music in this one! 😃
I make the Mississippi pot roast with chicken also soooooo good!
I love conversation hearts! I like to buy a small box each year.
Palo santo is a cleansing incense like frankincense and myrrh. Removes negative energy.
Dont HIDE your cottage cheese pepper, girl! We know what’s good! Sprinkle with pride!! 😂😂
Great video Jen. I am so jealous, please send your snow to us here in SE MI! We have none, I guess we are expected some on Thursday and Friday.
