My Bosch dishwasher lasted 8 years. Then it started not getting things clean. I have 7 kids though and ran it twice a day for 8 years!!
Mine died this summer and it was around 8 years also.

I’ve had the Instant Loss cookbook for quite a while and never used it. You’ve inspired me in your last few videos to look through it and mark some recipes I want to try. I follow weight watchers and some of the recipes don’t fit into my plan, but some will work very well. I just need to get my grocery order to get some ingredients I’m missing. I have 2 Instantpots and love them. I’ve had them for several years and use them all the time, but believe it or not, tonight was the first time I did mashed potatoes in it. I’ll never make them any other way.
Add a little cream cheese to that chicken in those taquitos and throw them in the air fryer! We love them this way. I make batches of them for my family.
You are so right about diets and nutrition. The story is different depending on who you ask. I think your plan of making small changes over time is a sustainable one.

You’re doing so awesome with making better choices for your family. All the prep work you do is awesome for you and your family. You mentioned maybe trying to prioritize cleaning before meal prep but it seems like since a healthier lifestyle is your #1 right now I feel like you’re on point with keeping it this way for awhile!! Also, you mentioned how you’re keeping an eye on the added sugar so when you mentioned a flat white with almond milk I wanted to make a comment that Starbucks may use a barista blend which typically has added sugar. Not trying to rain on your parade but wanted to say it! One last comment too, pizza night for the fam is always fun and maybe even adding in a side salad or some veggies and ranch to go with. At least you can mix a little fiber with the tasty pizza. Anyway, just some comments!! Enjoy watching you over the years and again appreciate all your hard work 💖

Ugh I dont even check bread did not even think of sugar lurking in bread. If I eat sugar i want it to be candy or dessert so it is worth it lol not hiding in other foods. Lovin’ all these healthy tips. You have always made a great variety of a bit of everything for your family but these simple swaps are easy and healthy tips for us all .

Try Aldi’s keto bread. It taste like cardboard but once you add butter or sandwich toppings, it taste fine.
My neighbor stopped with the sugar and processed foods...she lost 75 lbs in one year! She walks every day no matter what! She feels amazing! No drag and sluggishness. ....it's about feeling good...the weight loss is extra! You don't have to give up everything...just being smart with choices and then it becomes a habit. You are an inspiration! Love the Bernie T-shirt...did you read the story of the woman who knitted his gloves....so sweet.

I just got a new dishwasher. I went looking to buy a Bosch but ended up with a KitchenAid 3 Rack model that was highly rated. I love it. I've heard bad things about Bosch and read some less than wonderful reviews. It's been 2 weeks so far and I love it. Super quiet. Fits a lot of stuff.
I've been trying to buy those green works boxes and no one is selling them in my area. I'm going to have to go online. I really liver the Debbie Meyers green boxes though. They are terrific.

Many years ago I got a pot from Emerald Lagasse off of QVC I thought you just throw it in turn it on and it cooked when I read that you had to sauté the meat and this and that I said the hell with that and put it back in the box it’s been in my grandaughters room for years

I have a Sears which is like 16 years old so I know it’s on it’s last days. Both Sears and ABC Warehouse, a Michigan appliance company, said the average life span of an appliance today is 7 to 10 years. All of my appliances are on the way out. I bought white appliances, but will replace them with Stainless Steel as I want to sell my condo in the future. I love my salad spinner! Ever since I saw yours, I had to have one and have loved it ever since. Love to you all. I want to make that Instant Pot Chicken and Noodles dish, I want to try it.

I've never been a fan of rice cakes. No flavor, just crunch. I used to like a version made with peanut butter, obviously they had a lot of sugar. Haven't been able to find them for many years.
Farmers almanac said we would have a really mild winter. Yeah right. We just had a storm come through that gave us 35! Inches of snow! It snowed for 3 days straight. In my 60 years I've never seen that kind of snow. We were #74 on a list of houses that needed to be plowed. It took them 2-1/2 days to get to us. I had to call out two days because we couldn't get out. It's supposed to snow 3-5" more this week. Noooooo

I just ordered both of those books because of you because in March I’m going to be in doing a no spend month and I thought might as well get my budget together between this month and next because I’m only allowed to spend what I normally spend I can’t get any extra stuff unless it has to do with making homemade food that’s one of my rules so I’m gonna try these two cookbooks out.

They just arrived today and I’m really excited. Thanks for sharing these cookbooks. My sister is doing the beach body regiment and nutrition awareness they call it. And I think you’ll really enjoy both of them she loves the Insta pot but also is a great cook and she has an air fryer and loves to make our veggies and all kinds of things in it it actually helps her bake too. Thankfully everyone in my family can cook except for me I can bake. But now that I have the Insta pot I can finally cook and I’m excited to have a cookbook specifically about the Insta pot. Not that I don’t mind modifying recipes. I just love to be able to experiment in a healthy way without feeling like I have to give up lots of things. That dinosaur juice looks really good. My sister already makes her own version of it. Last comment your son cracks me up how sometimes he’s in the video and sometimes he’s not. And your daughter is really lucky to have a mom like you. I lost my mom at a young age around 10 and my sister and I basically mother each other it sounds like maybe your sister and you had to do the same. I have an aunt who I love that sounds just like your mom. Thanks again.

I saw a great video the other day with another RUclipsrs that I follow you put as many boneless chicken breasts in the pot as you want and you use one cup of pineapple juice I made six large chicken breast and regular bread you’re supposed to cook them for seven minutes but since mine were buried that I cook them for nine and they came out perfect I use for them to make chicken salad and I made a taco pasta bowl with the rest of the chicken

Aww don't take the pouches from the kids with just water for lunch. You can do the sugar free Kool aid juice pouches, they are just as yummy and without all the sugar and then can give the water also so the water can keep them hydrated

My 5 year old is much like your kids. She doesn't like fresh blueberries in pancakes or muffins, now if you buy a blueberry muffin pack with blueberries in it she will eat those.
Maybe they use dried berries in their muffins? Both taste good but the consistency is very different. With dried blueberries it is more like a blueberry raisin. I live both but if you put too many fresh blueberries in a muffin they taste like they have not been baked properly even though they have. So fresh blueberries are fine if there is like five of them in a small one or perhaps 10 in a big one if you ask me.

Man. I have to wash each plate (like I use a sponge with soap and everything) before putting it in the dishwasher. Our dishwasher sucks sooo bad. My roommate happens to be my mother and I asked her why put them in the dishwasher? She says I have to because it helps with germs. 🤷🏻♀️ I never had a dishwasher growing up and I have survived 40 years so far and the “germs” haven’t killed me yet. 🤦🏻♀️

Do you think the tequitos would taste good with ground chicken? We are doing a freezer/pantry clean out right now and I only have one chicken breast left but I have 2lbs of ground chicken to use up.
YES!! tequitos = flautas, everything is good in them! potato flautas are really good too, just mash the potatoes then fill them up. i like them plain, but you can add all the other taco toppings

You are not kidding about the appliances, it's absolutely disgraceful that they purposely make things we have to purchase more often, and filling up the landfills. Even your cell phone stops working properly at around the 2 year mark. Terrible!
