I met a 70 year old man at a park today. He said his oak trees weren't dropping acorns this year and that it means we're gonna have a cold winter (NW GA). I told him the weatherman I watch thinks the same. When I told him who I watch, he said, "that boy is good, I watch him on RUclipss (sic)." Made my day today.
Wow I’m in north east ga’ and I’ve had acorns Fallin like crazy.
I’ll meet more and more people who follow Ryan.
I wish we wld get a good snow up here I’m around talkingrock! It be awesome to see a beautiful snow this year! ❄️🌨⛄️
Tell that to the oak trees in my area (Tennessee). Acorns everywhere
I live in west GA and the acorns are falling it's water oaks though the white oak didn't have any acorns. Idk if that means anything
Im praying for an early snow💌💌💌💕💕cancer doesnt guarantee me another Christmas,i love seeing the cold,ty sweetheart
Awe. This comment made me cry… God bless you and I’ll be praying for you!
Wisconsin here…winter comes early enough for us haha, but I’m praying for a blizzard for you. We all have shovels. ❤
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
🙏💯🙏💯🙏
Praying for you
I’m back in hoodies, and could NOT be happier about it! Here in the Plains, we know we’re into our second tornado season of the year. Clean out your storm shelters, make sure there’s plenty of water, some kind of food, seating for all, waste bucket with trash bags and tp, charge the lights, put new batteries in flashlights and weather radios, and go over your plan with those who live in your household for emergency situations. Preparedness will save your life.
❤️&🙏
That's sad that y'all have to live that way.. me and my husband used to live in Oklahoma a few years ago and the tornadoes are scary.. we're back to our home state back east ..
@@brenh2767, I was stationed near the east coast for about 7 years. I got my fair share of hurricanes. I wouldn’t trade my quick moving ‘nado storm for those neverending wind, rain, and flooding events. When you know there’s a chance of storms, you either standby at home, close to the shelter, or go to a place where you CAN secure yourself, if needed. I suppose I’m used to it because that’s the way I grew up. Lol
Lame-o...lol
A little kitty litter for your waste bucket.
Everyone has been complaining it's cold. I am LOVING this hoodie weather. It's like everyone just loves to complain. It's too hot. It's too cold. It's so humid. Just enjoy it!!!
Hoodie weather is my FAVORITE WEATHER!!!
@@angiemansfield9381 same!!!! I'm in heaven
Every moment that we're NOT in the 90's or 100's is a win!! 😃
Awesome! Texas just had a fantastic fall weekend and a warm work week and ANOTHER cool off?! PERFECT!
Exactly it felt so good outside yesterday I kinda went overboard with my workout. 😅
It was wonderful in Georgetown, TX
Alamo town resident is smiling!!
@@dark12ain awe man, I hope you didn't pull anything worth having 😂
@@sallyc3 joints in my knees are killing me. I never had this happen before 😅 I'm kinda resting doing push ups today. I'm hoping the same
The best part about Ryan's weather forecast is that not only does he give us an accurate weather forecast but he explains why we are going to have the weather! ❤
Man I walked outside this morning, 48°F in Florida. I was freezing. The cold snuck up on us. Had to walk back in and grab a hoodie.
What part of Florida? I am headed to the Panhandle in 3 weeks.
Same in MA. It was 80s at the beach here last week where I met an older couple who said they were headed next day to a week of more warm weather in the FL panhandle. Not sure about that.🫤
@fbgduval- man, thats darn cold for Florida! As for me, I live in Michigan & our highs have only been in the mid,to high 40s. A few days have been in the 50s, too. And I sure am not used to it so far, especially when temps were in the high 80s a week ago!
NWLA here. It's so nice being able to go outside and not burst into flames. My AC just shut off for the first time in MONTHS.
Love this fall weather! It was only in the mid-50s for highs yesterday, and we had our first light frost yesterday morning as well. At least in my area of northeast Kentucky.
Yes I live in Northern Kentucky & it's been in the high 40's the last few nights..
same up here in northern Wisconsin...still prefer it to be a little warmer cuz it only gets worse for us up here for the next 4-5 months lol
It’s 80F in northern idaho
Western MARYLANDER here in the Appalachian mountains! I love FALL! You can keep heat & humidity! You can always add layers Sweaters etc. but hot and humid weather you can only take off only a few items of clothing! 🤔🤔🤣😂🤣😂
Yes, I love the weather here in Henderson Kentucky the past several days
Thanks you ryan ! Im canadian so your not really talking about our weather but still I love watching your video and know what's happening with the weather in states !
I wish I could post the pic I caught of the cold front moving into deep south Texas. It was 105° then dropped to 83° It felt so nice & looked really weird. Like 2 worlds colliding.
Thankful for clear skies and cooler temps coming up in Texas for the Ring of Fire Eclipse!
We have a 91% chance of rain in West Michigan on Friday. We won’t be having dry air. Cool air, yes. Cold rain…oooh my favorite 😕
Here in Salem, OR we woke up to a cooldown from last week's low 80's then upper 70's. And a 100% of rain today and more rain the next 2 days.
Hi. I'm in West Salem.
Same here in Puyallup Wa
I'm in Chicago and I'm loving the cooler weather! As a person that looks forward to the cold weather every year I was super stoked to see our morning temps in the low 40s! Gives be hope that maybe we'll get a normal winter this time
Me too! Such a welcome visitor after the stupid summer
I’m in Colorado but 40 degree mornings make me so happy 😁
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to all my great brothers in the north🇨🇦
Here in north-central Florida it was 75 yesterday and a perfect 54 degrees this morning. The cooler the better after the terribly hot and humid summer!
I am not a big storm lover, but I click like anyway. I had a 4 foot snow dump a few years back. Snowed in a month! Freeze thaw cycles were so dangerous on our steep mountains.
OK ... you had 4 feet of snow a few years back ... do you want a congressional medal of freedom ?!?
@@warriormanmaxx8991 who bit you in the butt?
Ryan. I love your reporting and thank you for keeping up on the weather for us. HOWEVER. As someone living in south Texas and experiencing the first weather under 80 since freaking May, PLEASE extend that circle (at 22 seconds) to include us. We're freaking dancing down here!
Same here in Fl. been Beautiful.
Yes!!!! Houston here. I celebrated the rain last week, and low 80s over the weekend!! I was in heaven!
Also from south texas close to the border and my gods is the cool weather so good i could probably sleep with my ac off :D
@@ponygirlgamer We're in Corpus and absolutely in heaven. Not just cool but actual water from the sky!
I’m a next door neighbor in Louisiana and this guy is relieved as well
Thank you for all you do and keeping us informed. Best weather channel on RUclips.
That is purely truth
Well, I know we have a pounding rain due in middle Tennessee; the nights have been cool enough to start the leaves turning. We always get a good rain to knock them off the trees.
We have not had rain in Clinton ms since may when we had a tornado outbreak that we still have large oak trees down. Thats close to 6 months. I never seen us go that long without rain in my 60 yrs. I have pictures of cracks in the ground of 2 foot long 5 inches wide most the trees are brown and leaves have been falling for a month. We did have just a little rain last week and the ground started making
" popping" sounds never seen that before either. Not to mention the brutal heat we had this summer up to 116 to dry us out even more. We are subtropical here this is not normal. 😮
I'm in KY and loving the cooler weather. I'm hoping for a cold and snowy winter. The limbs of my ancient pecan tree are breaking from the weight of the nuts. There's a huge crop of walnuts too so there critters are going to be happy. The flying squirrels have found the pecans already.
Where in KY? I'd love to come relieve your trees of some of that pressure before the snow starts flying...lol I'm in Louisville.
I love to see your weather channel because you always seem to have the right weather
Every week, it’s nice M-F but the two days off of work for me(Saturday & Sunday), have been 💩. I’m tired of this pattern. It’s obviously just chance, but DAMN!! I’m tired of rain ….only on the weekend. It’s so cruel.
Don't forget to mention Missouri Ryan. Y'all have a lot of fans just south of STL! Thanks for all Y'all do ⛈️ 🌩 ⚡️ 🌬❄️☔️🌦🌤🌥🌌🌡🌪⛱️☃️ Lol i spoke too soon! Thanks again
That is interesting about the oak trees. My parents have several and I commented the other day that they aren’t seeing as many acorns as in the past
I love how u talk about all this weather and texas basically gets nothing I sure wish we could get rain so much
You have introduced me to my new favorite map for viewing cold fronts. In the dew point map, it looks like the cold is slapping away the heat to comedic effect!
Ryan, your voice on this episode is noticeably calmer, slower tempo and more mature. I mention this because you’ve already captured an audience with your personality and, more importantly, you knowledge and expertise. I listen to you exclusively, not because of your energy and timing, but rather because you love your work and you know your job. Not to mention the help and disaster relief that your team spearheads with every weather crises. The tempo on this episode sounds relaxed, confident and authoritative…….listen to this and tell me if I’m wrong. There’s an old saying that states, if you want people to pay attention when you speak, speak slower and softer. You are without a doubt, the best meteorologist on air today.
Ryan is not a meteorologist 🤦♀️ but I agree he delivers the info that the real meteorologist give him in a good way and they do help people which is awesome.
Ppl have off days sometimes I don’t think it’s one of them tho for Ryan.
*
Interesting there aren’t any messages on this comment I appreciate this comment tho bc I hear the voice too
*
tho Ryan’s still the man and there’s a lot he’s accounting for when sharing his messages with others about complex and probably confusing weather metrics patterns etc…and the sheer knowledge in that way we can all probably download and actually have the bandwidth for 🎉cheers Ryan !!! Y’all keeep safe out there
Finally, we have some like Ryan who is bold enough to speak the truth. I've heard so many that don't dare to. Speaking truth can get them fired from their job, but truth is much better than a script acting and lies! We need you Ryan and you're the first I have heard to admit that you don't know everything. Keep up the good work, despite the other actors who just don't care. Most forecasters are in it for the money! And they lie! Thank you Ryan for your honesty and truthfulness!❤❤😊😊😊
Love how Ryan Hall talks about the entire countrys weather
not mexicos LMFAO
IT FEELS AWESOME OUTSIDE. I HATE SUMMER WITH A PASSION. RYAN IS THE MAN Y'ALL.
Wait until you have arthritis. Then the warm weather will be your best friend.
@@joephysics5469True…you will appreciate it as you age!
@@joephysics5469 My favorite weather is between 38-58°F. I hang out naked with windows open and fan ons at this temp, and go outside in shorts and tank tops.
@@joephysics5469 I've had a motorcycle wreck that dislocated my shoulder, both knees got messed up, and have had my nose broken 6 times. I know all to well about arthritis. But I have also had a major heat stroke. I hate sweating, poisonous insects and 🐍snakes and I can't stand the heat. God bless. Sorry you have arthritis too.
@@Mike-su2xg. Move to Arkansas. We don’t have any venomous snakes, insects, and tornadoes. (oops, disregard)
You do an amazing job of making all these complex systems make sense. Kudos! Love your channel.
Here in NE Texas I took my jacket to work (night shift, big metal building) for 2 whole days over the weekend before my chaffing from swamp britches healed.
My 7th grade geography teacher (many years ago) taught us a quick weather rule of thumb... "Air always flows, from highs to lows." And we can see that every day.
Tornado action? Hot + cold = T. A. Thano You Ryan.Your Awesome. Shalom 🕊
I remember back in 1959-60 before we got our first TV, Mom and Dad would take the family to a fish n chips dinner at the Surfside Cafe in Delake on the Oregon coast (now part of Lincoln City) at least partly so we could watch Bob from KOIN-TV do his weather forecast. It was all black lines of Isobars and highs and lows plus tides and wind reports from Mt. Hebo. Loved it.
I'm looking forward to this big change in the weather! Lots of acorns have been falling earlier than expected in my neck of the woods (NW Rhode Island), so this could mean a giant snowstorm coming. The last few winters have SUCKED (Except last year's birthday snow), so I welcome this blizzard with open arms!
The cold season is upon us, what a wonderful time of year.
A well deserved cooldown!
Us Wisconsinites(specifically near the lakeshhore) miss summer! It came in slowly, and left like a person running late for work
No
In Michigan, we barely had summer. It was cold. And now it’s gone.
I don’t mind cooler weather as long as it doesn’t rain. Snow, I don’t mind.
@@DesertDwightIf you’re in the south, yes
Thank you so much, Ryan! You've made me love the weather, whether it's good or bad. I've learned so much about the different flows and pressures involved and locations of where storms originate how water temperatures affect things. of course I don't love hurricanes or tornadoes when they harm and affect people so badly but thanks again! love love to you! ❤
I'm glad we finally got some cool weather here in deep south Texas 😊
In Texas it went from 100's to 70s just like that. 50s at night.
Loving the cooler weather in Virginia!!❤😊
Mobile Alabama and the Gulf Coast is praying we will actually get rain.💦
Thanks Ryan! 👏Here in SCWI got a surprise frost very early this morning! Got my houseplants inside just in the nick of time! Sure hope we won't have a wicked winter! Last year our first snow was 10/17! After a 70° day on 10/10! 😳🙄
I’m in SE WI!
@@kyleRS87 Well then l hope you brought in your houseplants! 😂✌️
We’re doing the normal Spring Fall flip flop weather pattern here in MO. Cooler an hour after sunset then bundle up until 10am and shed your layers with full sunshine
I love the cooler weather..
Oak trees generally drop an excessive amount of acorns, every 7 years, … and it builds that way, year by year, … until the 7th year, and then the cycle begins to repeat, …
My oak trees in the Ozarks have been throwing acorns down with an angry force. It sounds like hail.
i'm a new englander and it has been a pretty stereotypical fall, some days cold and rainy, some cold, some warm, some cloudy. its beautiful. today was sunny, cloudy, chilly yet warm
Hi! Southern New Hampshire here! 👋
Love the shirts! Its Fall Y'all!😂
Hope you get a 24-hour channel. you're as good as Accuweather.
Better
Better. Although I just checked my AccuWeather app and they do agree with him for the weather this week.
Better than Accuweather!
Thank you!! It’s getting chilly in SE TN! ❤
3:16 Storm system is like "Your turns over, go away" 😄
Thaks for the wind heads up Ryan us Arizonies appreciate it. God Bless you!❤
I'm in the upper part of Florida. I'm loving this cool weather. It's been so hot and humid this summer that my humidifiers have taken 15 to 20 gallons of water every day from the air in the house. It's nice not to feel like I'm swimming inside. 64° this morning is a gift.
In Southern Ms at 6am it was alr 45°F and WE DONT GET THESE TEMPS UNTILL LATE DEC. I was ready because of you thank you so much. My friends were dying while i was wearing my sweater.
It’s been warm (high 70s these past few days in Utah it’s suppose to drop tomorrow and for the rest of the week to 50-60s).
Patiently waiting on the snow though ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ 😁☝🏽
It's good to know that the Storm Prediction Center agrees with you.
Well said!!!
I have a feeling it's the other way around. All weather data comes from the same place NOAA NWS. Ryan doesn't have hundreds of his own data gathering stations. Neither does The Weather Channel.
I’m in Central Florida & loving this weather! Thank you for your great reports!
You are the best weather guy I've ever seen. I watch you every winter and you're always spot on with winter weather.
Thank you Ryan for the update!
It was 35 this morning in my area of SC, I couldn't believe it. That temp and no frost, all temp are in Fahrenheit
I'll keep watching. I find the information very useful!!!

Well, Kansas needs to rain. They are in a horrible drought. North Texas needs rain too! Pray for rain if you have a moment
Thanks Ryan ❤
I’m going to level with y’all I’m suffering from fire weather burn out in Louisiana. One of the few things that keeps me smiling is the Ryan Hall y’all youppppeee!!!! At the end of the video. Yes I’m a simple man amused by simple things.
Thank you Ryan ❣️🥰
🔥🔥Gulf Coast States, please remember the Burn Bans have been extended as we are now in a severe drought. Cool breezes does NOT mean it is safe to resume outdoor burning 🔥
Thank you for keeping us informed you all do a great job!!
My 6th grade school teacher told me that I should study to become a meteorologist. Even had I done so, I could never have hoped to deal the information as smoothly and succinctly as Ryan. Nice follow! Good job and thank you.
