Legit though! And I'm even up in Canada and his coverage gives me better heads up than our local weather does.

As an airline pilot, I appreciate your nuanced approach to going over the data. I always loved talking to weather briefers prior to flights and THIS is exactly what helped me make so many go/ no go decisions.
Subbed.
You are a very good person, and pilot by doing that; comment provided by a world traveler since I was 10 years old.. For my Father was a Military person and our family was stationed all over, especially over seas and I know how uneasy it is flying in questionable weather... So I Thank-you for your thoughtfulness.. 💞
My 11 year old daughter cracks up at the way you end your videos. She has been doing that all over our house for the past several weeks. You have a big fan…”Hey Dad…Is there a new Y’all guy video?” I often get asked when I pick her up from school. Maybe we have a budding meteorologist. Thanks for what you do!
That's funny right there!!!!😂😂😂😂
Funny cute, y'all❤🏆🎉
Yep I love it when he closes out the video, “whoooop”!🥰
Aww!! That’s so sweet! I share this type of stuff with my own mom, so this makes me silly knowing another person is as compassionate about this stuff ‼️‼️
awww ❤
Everyone please start Praying so this hurricane does no harm to the Caribbean or America, let the storm pass away, God bless, amen!
Why does your god require performative actions to protect people?
May it come straight into the Gulf, slam into our coastline and bless us with needed rain. Amen!
@@Accumulator1And 150 plus mph winds. Hell no!!! Let's hope this is just a fish storm. The damage it would do if it made landfall anywhere in the Continental US would be awful.

I live in eastern NC, about 100 miles from the Outer Banks. Keeping a very close eye on Lee, going to prepare just in case as this will absolutely be a beast of a storm! Thanks for everything you do Ryan
My daughter and grandchildren are near Greenville. I’m watching it too. Prayers it goes out to sea.
I currently live on the outer banks. I am originally not from America, and the “hurricanes” I usually experience from where I’m from are weak rain storms at best. Was terrified of Idalia but that turned out to be pretty much a bust. Really keeping an eye on this storm, especially if it looks like it’s going to make direct landfall in that median path Ryan mentioned between SC and NJ. That would shatter the OBX most likely.
I live in Brunswick county near Wilmington, really hope if it hits its not a major hurricane
I live in Wilson myself and Hurricane Matthew inundated the area. I'm praying that Lee stays out to sea and spare everyone the heavy flooding
It ain’t hit that far inland lmao
We were direct hit landfall for Florence when they said until the day before that it wasn’t going to hit us. We did not have enough time to evacuate, and secured in place. It was terrifying watching the radar and a Category 4 hurricane barreling down on us over night and it suddenly drop to a Cat 1 right before landfall. We still lost our house and many of our belongings and ended up homeless for eight months. Most of our community did as well. We will be watching this storm very closely, and are prepared to evacuate at the first sign of it coming our way.
I hope everything is fine for you and your family now 🙏🏾 please and blessings
You will be fine with this one.
Oh my I remember that and it was horrible.
you can say thast again!!!!!
@@Drawingtheplanet was it due to flooding or the storm surge?

@s.c.i.7506 ahh i gotcha..yea yall was in the middle of the heat dome too..im southwest Louisiana, and man its been bad..we been working in heat indices over 110 for weeks straight there for a while..just had a few cool mornings last week. Felt nice!!! I need some colder weather before bow season starts on the 17th 😬
I’m up in Nova Scotia and hoping it doesn’t hit me again. Last time it was ten days with no electricity and we were the lucky ones!
Ohioan here.. looking forward to the gloomy and cooler weather coming our way. Highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s sounds much nicer than highs in the 90s and lows in the 60s/70s.
Or here in Texas where we're still 107 today. Omg it's truly been a hot summer with no rain in sight.
Thanks from Atlantic Canada. Yours is the best channel for us up here too.
We had 2 hurricanes in the past 3-4 years in New-Brunswick (North of Nova Scotia). Some of us are still recovering from hurricane Fiona from last year. Hopefully Lee will stay out to sea! Thanks for the update like always🙌
It's really frustrating to me that most US weather reporters either don't report storms that aren't predicted to impact the US, or stop reporting once it has.
Hoping Lee stays out to see and causes no trouble for anyone. My neighbourhood in Dartmouth NS is still full of broken trees from Fiona (and I've seen reasonable arguments that all the deadwood contributed to the bad forest fire season).

Thanks for real time, up to date forecasts and warnings.
Thanks for your great work, especially at this time of year we here in The Cayman Islands pay close attention to what's happening and nobody brings it more than you do. Much Love Ryan from all of us
Ryan Hall is far superior to the Weather Channel. Don’t get me wrong the weather channel has some good people working over there but Ryan Hall’s reporting is significantly better quality.
He over hypes everyone thing though, tropical tidbits is better for weather forecasting during hurricane season
@@gamingwitharlen2267 This is the XTRA channel, if you want his main weather reports go to the main channel.

@@gamingwitharlen2267 not really. Tropical tidbits is good tho I will admit that.
The Weather Channel is entertainment weather, hence the ads in abundance and other crap. They're not solely weather-focused such as weather.gov or Ryan Hall.

you can say that again!!!!
Georgia has been INSANE with the heat this summer. 106F heat indexes. Working outside has not been fun
Model as of now has a direct hit to us in Nova Scotia. Hoping that changes. We don't need another hurricane so soon after Fiona and Ian.

Thank you Ryan! That "big blue blob" looked almost motherly as it embraced the smaller blue blob aka Hurricane Lee and gently moved it out of the way and back into the ocean along the eastern seaboard. I literally laughed out loud having lunch at my desk at work. Needed that laugh today-thanks again for your amazing way of teaching us about the weather AND warning us when necessary.

I agree. I trust him.
I hope that hurricane becomes a fish storm.
I was watching you 24/7 when Hurricane Idalia came barreling through Florida and Georgia.
This man knows his business; he exudes insight and competence. Thanks, Ryan. You talk straight; politicians simply tell us what we wish would happen.
Meteorologists are politicians ?
you can say that again!!!!!
There's another guy I follow, who's more local to me, and he runs "Pacific Northwest Weather Watch." I believe he also does one called, "California Weather Watch," and I think he may be in the process of consolidating them.
If you're on the western side of the Rockies, give him a check.
What do politicians know about hurricanes? 🤔
Not Gavin Newsome. That dude tells it like it is.
Hopefully not a repeat of Super Storm Sandy. That was brutal.

shockingly it came back on after an hour
I live in SC and I have to say like the big bend in FL we have been pretty fortunate as far as hurricanes go. This is interesting.
Idk about you but I'm going to welcome the upcoming cooler weather with open arms. It gets WAY too hot and muggy in SC! More than ready for the fall cooldown.
What about that red and brown blob north of the Dominican Republic? Will that amount to anything?
Hopefully it turns and leaves us alone georgia and florida is still cleaning up and restoring power

I can’t wait for the cooler weather…..back in NY especially Long Island, one of my favorite parts about it was that we got all 4 seasons and it was obvious. Fall/Autumn on Long Island is best. Down here in North Carolina, I’m sure the fall foliage is amazing but it doesn’t get as chilly.
I'm in caddo mills Texas and the showers we had come through on Sept 3rd went from yay, rain! To holy crap, I think this is a tornado. Seems our little spot in the hunt county country has been a hot spot for bad weather in the last 2 years. Didn't see one report on it, no one else in our neighborhood mentioned it...very strange. Thanks for all you do!
It's ironic that after causing so much damage, the remains of Idalia are thus far helping Invest 95L to curve northward and avoid the Caribbean and the US. Idalia is keeping the high pressure system in the North Atlantic from pushing 95L more to the south.
Right on, man 👊🏼
Living in southeast Florida we are always concerned about these storms coming across. Praying we will be spared!
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Just pray its quick like hurricane Michael.
It seems hurricane Lee is making a detour avoiding Florida, Carolinas, New Jersey... praying... stay safe y'all...
It’s mostly from the Carolinas all the way up to New England that I am more focused about. Yes, that includes the New York City metro and Long Island
I’m hoping it doesn’t go in the New England aka the north states like New York since I live in nyc
wym hurricane lee, Lee is still a tropical storm and it could hit U.S
@@A203gfcolr I sooo understand you!!! 😮
That’s a dangerous statement. Lee is still in its infancy. There’s a lot at play that could change by next week. Precisely why NHC only forecasts 5 days out. Idalia was modeled to make landfall originally in Louisiana.
Yeah! Rain in VA!!!! We are desperate for rain. Water reserves in our area are very low. Water tables for the wells are very low as well. We are being asked to conserve water and I can't remember the last time that has been the issue.
Thank you so much for keeping us all updated on the weather. Much love and God Bless you all 🙏❤️✝️🥰🤗💖
I recall when the Hurricane Irma tracks looked like this. They kept shifting further and further west.
I love how Ryan Hall and the weather app on my phone allow me to never have to watch TV news again! Thank you Ryan and the team!
Tell me why I trust you more than my local weather . You have shown to be more knowledgeable amd right more often than any news channel I have ever watched. Thanks
Lee looks like it's got it's sights set on us here in Nova Scotia. Hopefully it's blown out before it makes landfall given how badly Fiona kicked us last year! September hurricanes are no joke!
Hoping it takes the same path as others curving up the Atlantic.
Don't need it up here in PEI for sure!
I think also to take into thought how STRONG Lee becomes as it's scootin on WEST will also impact it's path. The stronger it is the more it has the mind set of "IDC WHAT THE WINDS DO ON LAND. I DO WHAT I WANT" mentality 😅
Thanks ryan. Love what ya guys do for your community
Choice of words ...and your professional MANNERISM ...makes you the GURU of weather !!
I'd sure like to see some rain here in central Kentucky as I know many of our neighboring states would like that too. I've got family down in Charleston SC so I'm always watching your updates on the tropical storms. Thank you for keeping us informed!
Fascinating video. I don't think I've seen anyone else explain the interactions between weather systems, and how they affect where major storms go, in such a clear way. I really appreciate that about your videos.
I agree,Ryan is just awesome in updates of what to expect !
Thanks, Ryan, to you and your crew for all you do to keep us updated and the great service to all the weather victims.
Thanks bud for staying on top of this stuff, dude you and your team are fantastic.
Thank you for adding Nova Scotia & Newfoundland in your forecasts, appreciate it!
I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia. If Hurricane Lee does swerve up to hit us on the east coast of Canada, what are the odds it will still be a major hurricane? Would it be like Fiona of last fall? I realize it's still early to tell a lot.
Thank you for these updates! Definitely keeping an eye on Lee, but so thankful it is going to get cooler and wetter here in NC. It has been so hot and dry, not a normal summer for sure. Definitely doing the biggest happy dance!
Any chance this hurricane could cause catastrophic coastal swell/giant tidal wave/tsunami that will take out Washington DC?
....asking for a friend😜
As a North Carolinian who likes rain and thunderstorms this video made me happy for the coming days.
Fun fact: if you watch enough of these videos you'll notice that the Outer Banks (that thin line of islands east of NC) get hammered pretty hard by hurricanes. The trees there, specifically the Live Oaks, have adapted to the weather by growing winding branches that twist together so the trees can shield and support each other through the storms, and residents build their houses in among the trees to get that protection for themselves.
Thank you for keeping us informed you all do a great job!!
Please send us some rain in Central New Mexico!!!
I live next to a family farm that has been there for 58 years and they just put it up for sale due to wells not producing enough for proper irrigation. It's so worrisome for all of us on personal wells. Lord, please bless us with rainfall and refill our Estancia Valley water table.

Thanl you so much for pronouncing Appalachian the way those of us that live in southwest VA and northeast TN do!
Finally more people talking about these storms! It was so frustrating this weekend that almost every single weather RUclipsr I watch haven’t uploaded videos since Friday.
I don't watch TV. When my husband died last year I gave away all the TV's, online weather is much more accurate and up to date. I used to watch the NOAA broadcasts but even there you get announcers getting all shrieky and agitated and you have to put up with ADS! which I can't stand; they are the main reason I dumped the TV's. Then I found this guy. He is great; very knowledgeable, calm and measured speech, and the graphics are easy to follow. Mainly, I like him because he doesn't pretend to know everything and tosses in various possibilities instead of hammering down on one option and running it into the ground.
Thank you for everything you do Ryan!

NOAA weather radio is wonderful! I bought mine years ago and I basically listen to it every single morning to help plan my day! If bad weather is predicted ,I leave all 4 batteries in radio. If weather is going to be OK, I remove one battery and it saves the power! Saves $$$ too!

I am not American, I live in Nova Scotia. I’m very nervous. I’m never in the know of these things, but I feel very nervous about this storm. Ryan Hall, had a couple of questions for you! Why was the last hurricane that hit Florida a cat 3, almost cat 4 by the hurricane center but wind gusts was around 100 mph and not sustained winds? Have you notice that hurricane center has been amping up the winds for hurricanes and tropical storms over the last 2 decades or more? What is your thoughts or opinions? Thanks, love your accurate forecast videos and knowledge! Also love what your team does to give back when people are in need because of bad weather!
I was telling my wife last night....
If somehow that storm threaded the needle to hit the gulf coast without too much land interaction they might need to add a new category to the scale by the time it reached Texas.
In the Loki TV show, there's at one point a category 8 hurricane mentioned (the 'apocalypse' Sylvie is hiding in), and as Ryan's been talking about how warm the gulf is right now, that scene keeps coming back to my mind.
I very much don't want that to happen. It's like one of my nightmare blunt rotation dreams. But the naysayers in FL, ect keep not taking these storms seriously. They were blessed that Idalia dropped to a Cat 3.
They’re called “super canes”
