Agreed! It floors me that he drives auto and I would love to see what he could do if he went full manual w/clutch. I race Class-C cars exclusively online and on my own server so when I jump into one of these A/B cars, my braking points are a mess!
@@gooner70_ns I've actually gone to just manual but I do have a clutch button assigned so I can use the clutch once in motion if I'm in a place where I am comfortable doing so but this doesn't work off the standing start which is where full manual benefits the most.
Nice display and talk through hints as usual. Was wondering about the high Differential setting though. Is that just personl preference or is there logic on an asphalt surfaced track?
I struggle with it as I find a fully locked rear diff tends to cause understeer (pushing in NASCAR parlance) for me, worse on some cars than others. I know there is a school of thought to adjust all cars to 5351 and just adapt one's driving to the cars in which this is less than/far from ideal. I do have to admit, most world record runs are done with a locked diff so there must be something to it although I do find the Raiden takes a locked diff well. I find the cars that tend to understeer at the neutral setting of 3 are made much worse by going to a locked diff, HHRS for me but that is all anecdotal so take that for what it is.
That's an incredible time and beautiful to watch 👏
@@gooner70_ns thanks and glad you liked it 👍

@ChuckHickl I am too rubbish to use manual but like you said to get those times with auto is phenomenal
There is only one CR

@ChuckHickl good on you for doing that and good luck. I will just stick to auto - too old and slow to worry about other buttons lol

@@weldonyoung1013 always tend to have it high (4 or 5) as it seems to give better grip on corners and accelerating out of them
