    Ok people. 600 and some views but only 159 likes- how come? The way I understand it by hitting the like button you are thanking Joel for his hard work putting together another excellent video. It takes a fraction of a second to tap the button- you spent 25 minutes watching the video why don’t more people take that fraction of time to like what you saw?

    • @barbeonline351
      @barbeonline351 2 года назад +2

      FWIW, Joel gets a pretty consistent ratio of 25% Likes to Total Views. That is outrageously high for YT!
      A strong value elsewhere on YT is about 10%.
      IMHO, where he could most use help is with Shares. Spread the word!

    We need a rain like that. We have not had a heavy rain in over a month. The grass has gone dormant, the trees are going into drought mode and dropping their leaves. Send that rain here

    I used to have a thoroughbred with the worst hooves. They cracked a lot so my farrier told me to just stand each foot in a bucket of water and then to brush on that stuff you were using as it seals the moisture into the hoof better . Also to always hose off muddy hooves as the mud dries hooves out too

    The thunderstorm did put quite a bit of rain down in such a short amount of time. Think you are right would have been better of it was a steadier rain. Gland all the horses went into the barn in time and safely. Hope Andrew, Daniel and the others had gotten the straw in before the rainstorm hit.

    Wow!! I love seeing the rain! As I was seeing it I thought I bet those veggie boys are going to be happy, but your right if it comes down too fast then it doesn’t give the land a chance to absorb it a long slow rain would be preferable but at least the ponds get refilled. As you were conditioning the hooves I thought hey the horse is getting it’s nails polished then of course my next thought was I wonder if it comes in colors?! Lol!! Can’t you just see a horse with cherry red nail Polish?! Lol!! It’s too funny! That’s awesome that a subscriber sent you those connectors for your hoses!! Gives me hope that there are a lot of nice people still out there!! Fun seeing Callie on your channel! Keep making these awesome videos I love them!! It was fun to see the time lapse of the horses getting their drinks.💕🥰🇨🇦❤️👏🏻🫶🏻🌈

    Manure day yahoooooooooooo. Where is Gavin at.Thank you Joel for the info on hook and how to seal up cracks . Do you every soak the horses feet in Ebsen salt warm water to help them with sour feet? What I heard is if a horse rolls all the way over that’s a thousand dollars and if half roll it’s half of the thousand that means that is what their worth. That is what II heard. The hottest day and very humid need a lot of water to drink have a hose to wash your faces and neck off. We need rain real bad our gardens and fields our needing it and the creeks need it. You need to put eves troughs on your stable barns and uses a wood barrow to have the down spout in the barrow then a Spicket on barrow to have is drain in the pipe doing over the hill . Try that maybe will help out.Joel did you every think of down spouts for horse barn and put a black plastic roll of holes on spout end let rain go down the pipe and over the hill.

    2nd comment, woot woot. I have my dinner just as this popped up ready to watch!! Wow, great video. 25 minutes thanks!! Wouldn't some commercial gutter on that side of the barn help stop that water damage? It could all flow to the end and lead right out to your ditch so it didn't pit all along that 60 foot path where you let the horses out.
