      @@ill_e_rossing7306 It took 13-14 months. Not bad considering it took years to put on. I am climbing ladders and doing anything I want now. I have noticed I get attention from women now, I was huge but invisible to them. 😃

      @@label1877 That’s big bro, keep it up man. I lost a lot of weight in the past and noticed attention from all kinds of women, even the ones who had me friend zoned for years it was a beautiful thing. I later picked up a weed habit and put the weight back on & then some due to munchies & laziness. I’m jumping back on the wagon with Omad and calisthenics workouts, I noticed I see results a lot faster that way then lifting weights. Wish me luck

    It's taken me more than a year to get to OMAD. I failed 2 other times because of going too fast. It's a slow, steady ride. You must be consistent. Everyone is different, however there are some things that will make it much easier.
    This worked for me.
    1. More healthy fats. (Avacados, nuts, eggs, coconut oil, olive oil, butter, lard, fatty meat like pork and steak) This will keep you full much longer. Carbs and sugars make you hungry.
    2. More water with Himalayan salt, Apple Cider Vinegar, black coffee and teas help suppress any hunger. They go away rather quicky.
    3. Eating your meal in the evening. This will help you sleep much better and after your initial insulin spike you will feel quite tired and ready for sleep.
    4. Only workout 3 days a week. Cardio makes a person very hungry. Replace cardio with weight training.
    I hope this helps. It's slow, steady, consistency that wins this battle.

    What science is there behind your BMR stopping you loosing weight if you are starving yourself and you were carrying say 50lbs of surplus body fat? If your body needs energy (calories) to function and it uses its fat reserves to fuel this when in a deficit and the laws of thermodynamics does not change how can you 'stop' loosing fat but continue living? Are there studies where someone who is carrying that amount of extra body fat has died of starvation (not malnutrition)?

    • @OMADRevolution
      @OMADRevolution  4 года назад +3

      You can do how you want based on your goal. Start by choosing a mealtime window and eat your meal then. Once you sit down, don't get up until you are done eating, and no eating out of bags or containers. Coffees and teas should be calorie-free always, no milk. If you must, start with two meals and no snacks and then, two weeks later, jump to OMAD. It will be an adjustment.

      @OMADRevolution  7 лет назад +6

      You lost 6 lbs in three months? And of that meager loss, you can tell that your arms and legs only are lighter? I'm sorry, but that seems not just uncharacteristic, but flat-out ridiculous to say. Muscle loss occurs with fat loss in the natural course of things, but the idea that your body will somehow start targeting muscle and leave fat is hogwash. The highest I have ever heard of someone losing muscle on OMAD percentage-wise is a 400+ lb guy in the Netherlands -- with a 200+ lb overall loss, 20% was muscle. Come on, now. It could be an indication of some other health problem, though.

    With all due respect.....this man did not invent OMAD. It has been done for hundreds of years. Elijah Muhammad wrote of it and recommended it to all in his NOI. Malcolm X practiced it. • @RawHebrewRemnant
      @RawHebrewRemnant 7 лет назад +1

      First, I don't believe there ever was any hunter-gatherer times because people that believe that tend to believe man is millions of years old and I don't believe that. But that is just me. Secondly, in the video that I placed this comment on you stated someone asked "how did you come up with OMAD". During the video you never said, that you didn't come up with it but instead proceeded to explain how you did. That is what prompted my critique and no I do not need to "familiarize" myself with your content before critiquing it. Instead, you should just say thank you for the critique and simply move on.

      To answer your question, yes, when someone asks you "how you came up with OMAD", its as if you are the creator of OMAD. It is both respectful and courteous to give honor to those who did it before you and humble to admit you are not the creator. In this particular video, this man who used the OMAD techniques answers the question as though he created it. If you actually read my post, I did start off with "with all due respect". which implies that, although I don't agree with the way he answered the question, I respect his opinion. It appears people on RUclips (in my opinion) oftentimes start off as humble seekers of help but when they get some success they suddenly want to be considered gurus. And just because I mentioned Elijah Muhammad does not mean I believe in Sharia Law (in fact I am not now nor ever have been a muslim) but as I plainly stated one should be humble enough to give credit when it is due and not take credit when it shouldn't be.
