Great choice of clothes. The pink and multicolor top goes well with the olive colored pants. The blue striped top goes well with jeans, especially dark jeans.
I put quite a bit of thought into seating arrangements. I change the arrangement more often than you do, though. And I totally get you about when someone parks in "my" spot. I fixed that by parking in the farthest end of the parking lot. It sucks when it's cold because the walk to the building is north. 🥶🥶🥶
My favorite places to shop right now are Universal Standard and Nordstrom. I have to wait for sales or discount codes though. I have some Universal Standard items on the way to me now.
Crazy, but I always dreaded the bday recognition as a teacher MOSTLY (and only) b/c I was always overlooked. I promise you every,dang,year, And last year (before I resigned) I did get a little brown paper bag with some treats - that I'm sure were leftover from the snack canteen - and it had my WRONG name. Had my first name when I go by my middle name. It was just like...... seriously? UGH Anyway, don't skip a name on the happy birthday list! Girl, I could write a book! Also, I'm really a normal person - I'm working through my PTSD from the classroom.
I am so sorry. I know that we would make a strong effort to make sure to remember everyone's birthday and their half birthdays (for those who have birthdays in the summer).
I find that working a bit on the weekend in order to start the week feeling in control both helps me be kinder and more accepting to myself those days I need to leave at the end of the day and just crash and watch youtube all evening with a bag of chips , or spend a chunk of of "work time" catching up or venting with co-workers - taking some advantage of the flexibility that is possible when you're single and childless makes a lot of sense, especially when you're dealing with other stuff. As long as it's "instead of doing this in the week" rather than "in addition to doing all the things in the week", I think it can be healthy and helpful for the overcrowded educator brain (especially those of us who have high standards of ourselves...)
is that snow on the mountains???! Do you ever hike trails in the mountains? I really miss living out west, I loved the Colorado mountains when I was stationed out there.

Clear your cache in history. Chrome is finicky like that… My work computer has been having me clear the Chrome cache a lot lately. I think it has something to do with an organization’s system network.
I view teaching social studies as things like current events, community structures, etc. History is more truthful and focus on the reality of historical events and its implications on society.
