Beekeeper here, the reprogramming process works like this: the docile queen will lay eggs from which bees with her genetic heritage will hatch. Eventually the old agressive bees will die and their New sisters will be docile. Usually a worker lives for 6-8 weeks. The first New brood cycle will hatch after 24 days, meaning after around 4 weeks a big Part of the bees will be of calm genetic. After 8 weeks the hive will mostly be calm. Of course this only works if the new queen was accepted.
I Got stung by normal bee when i was.. 8 years old, it wasnt so painfull, just hurt a little. In the middle of School i could feel something in my shirt took it out and a bee was there it stung me and Flied away :p
He's come a long way. Glad people are taking him seriously as a wildlife expert. He certainly helped lots of people realize that nature is dangerous but not always deadly.
Speaking of bees, I have a funny story. It shows that yellow jackets will sting anything that disturbs them. I worked in lawn and garden at Walmart, watering the plants, I then dropped the hose nozzle on the black plastic stand so I could untwist and untangle the hose and when I came back, I just saw bees swarming the hose nozzle, trying to sting it. I later discovered they were yellow jackets and discovered I dropped the nozzle on top of an area where they had a bee hive all set up. They had it set up in the pipes that held the stand up that supported the plants.
An individual bee sting is not dangerous unless you are allergic. The issue with killer bees is the swarms are more aggressive, and you can die if you are sting enough times.
With the amount of times he has been stung, you’d think his immune system would be so good at recognizing venoms entering the bloodstream that the swelling would disappear in under 15 minutes as the venom is swiftly broken down at such a speed that it would make a coked out squirrel look slow.
Just to clarify: the immune system and the inflammation are two separate things: the swelling (Edema) is a non specific reaction, happening every time, no matter how often the body has encountered specific venoms or pathogens. This edema may be induced rapidly, but takes time to clear up, since the extravasated fluid (fluid exits tissue and vessels) needs to be reabsorbed, which cannot be done as actively. The allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) happens on another level than local (more cells involved, which cause systemic effects) and may even be exacerbated by repeated exposure. Regarding the venom: it’s composition will always cause these reactions, since our body is programmed to protect itself from it in the fasted way. I hope, this made sense. If you have any questions, feel free to ask :)
That's funny. I got stung by a wasp like 3 days ago. On the inside middle joint of my ring finger... left hand. The lowest joint felt like the consistency of a whole strong grape >_

Given the stings Coyote has taken, I thought the reaction would have been more of a shrug when he was checking the hive ;). Then again he did sit holding his arm for an hour and could just keep on doing what he was doing, so I guess it was a mild reaction. Also it's good to see him avoiding potential life threatening stings. Keep up the good work.

I’ve been stung by wasps before, but not bees. I’ve even walked by a bee hive in Georgia that was in a tree. Hearing the buzzing very loud, but didn’t stick my hand in or anything. Just kept on going about my day. They left me alone. Carpenter bees are even more docile than honey bees. You have to actually swat at those for them to sting you. I haven’t swatted at carpenter bees, therefore they leave me alone. Edit: the hive is in the woods behind my house, it’s been there for about 3 years now. My dog sometimes escapes, so I have to chase him back there. Neither of us have been stung, and the neighbors in my community want it left alone. They grow vegetables in their gardens. Without those bees there, their yield would be very low compared to what they get with it there.

Ikr i was stung by one and boy is it painful
Why bring jesus into this
Bees aren't terrifying if your calm the bee is calm unless your taking its hives honey
This is why aliens don't want to visit Earth.
Oh
Yep cause their scared of tailed beasts
😆😆😆😆
True
😂😂
Killer bees what else did you need to hear KILLER KILLER
"That's alot of bees"
When gets stung "that's alot of damage"
Given the stings Coyote has taken, I thought the reaction would have been more of a shrug when he was checking the hive ;). Then again he did sit holding his arm for an hour and could just keep on doing what he was doing, so I guess it was a mild reaction. Also it's good to see him avoiding potential life threatening stings. Keep up the good work.
yes bro that is good you or new the world is beautiful top
“More potent than you’d think!” If the man who survived being stung by a bullet ant says that, I am pretty much obligated to take his word for it.
Man: Who are you?
Coyote: Immortal.
Imagine starving out in the desert and finding one of these crates thinking there would be food and water in there

Cameraman never dies
What does yield mean
@@silentxslayer2963 the amount you receive from growing

Ion like how they have a angry aggressive African bee and a calm sweet European bee...
He’s just explaining their instinct and where they originated from, stop making it about race
@@marlexisbusy446 It just feels very uncomfortable to listen to him emphasize the “docile european queens” in contrast to the “hostile africanized queens”. It’s not your fault that you don’t feel uncomfortable about it, but a lot of us do, so please respect that.

Popular Opinion: Every single one of ya'll agrees that Stunged Coyote made our day better:
Lmao, I thought that the guy he was with, was a professional. If he was, there would not be a gap between his gloves and the Bee suit. You NEVER want exposed skin during any type of event dealing with live Bees capable of stinging you.
My favorite thing about this channel is the stinging episodes idk why! I like that you came back with another sting video.
