    I'm in Canada and I went to Greece as a teen, a very long time ago, 😂 . And I fell deeply in love with the food.

    Would Chicken breast work? I imagine skinless would not be a good choice, but maybe breasts with skin to keep them moist. I guess thighs are another option, and would probably have increase the cooking time for either breast or thighs. Thank you for sharing this recipe, going to make it very soon!

      Yes, I actually tried with breasts (with skin on) and it worked perfectly!!

      Ευχαριστώ πολύ. Καμμιά φορά εξαρτάται από την ποιότητα των κρεμμυδιών. Ίσως πρέπει να το αφήσετε χωρίς καπάκι παραπάνω ώρα για να εξατμιστεί το πολύ νερό

    Haha, you know that Tava comes from Turkey. The word itself “Tava” comes from ottoman origins. Your cooking looks lovely though

      The name "Tave" actually comes from a Persian word that the Ottomans took and its the name of the cooking vessel not a specific recipe
