Backyard Aquatics There was a tank with gorgeous red patterned swordtails @5:41. What type are those, and are they available to the general public? Your overall stock is super impressive as are your pristine tanks!
Carlos and his wife are great. I love their fishroom. The paradise fish in the ponds are amazing. Lots of real nice fish. And Carlos is happy to share the knowledge he's acquired over his years in the hobby. I can't wait to go back to napa and pick up some L333's
How did I miss this? This is awesome. Vertical outdoor ponds, never thought of that before. And, yeah, I'm the same way when I visit a Mom and Pop fish store. I will always buy something, usually food. I feel like we all have to support them in someway or they will all disappear.
Carlos and Diane, thanks for your contributions to the hobby. I'm glad you are both in SAS. I have a lot of these fish in my tanks from our auctions. Keep up the good work!
Living in the napa valley, i've seen this fish room in person, it's amazing. Love their outdoor pond setup. I've bought some rams from them and they also donated some beautiful guppies that went into a tank I take care of at a local senior center.
She was very interesting and knowledgeable. You should have her on your podcast. I like listening to her. You don’t have many female fish keepers represented. Thanks for what you do.
Great tour! Love seeing fish I haven't seen before. Those cories traveling from one tank to another is just wild😊 so cool seeing other fish keepers set ups. 😍
+Fish For Thought Carlos definitely knows what he's doing. All his fish are beautiful and we just couldn't justify them enough in this video. There will always be next time!
Simply Betta you can find those at the Hydroponic store, i found these used and are 75 gallon but there are many sizes. By the way my wife & just found you're channel, you had us at **** Duckweed.
I put an airtsone in my porch pond, but with these soaring temps it was just pumping hot air through the water column. So I placed the placed the airpump in a styrofaom box and switch out a couple re-usable ice packs every morning.
+chris one bxl Those paradise fish are so amazing. I'll have those exact ones in my possession soon. The killifish are so much bigger than the video shows. Everything is amazing.
sure bro ,pitty for them lost , one hudge female pleco ( i lostmy favorite yellow ancistrus also she cut hersef because of a plastic mesh that I had stuck on the rear window of my aquarium, to make a plant wall with java moss, my ancistrus managed to fit through the tiny holes of the fence, unfortunately I found my female the flank completely open, like a tin can, I was very sad and I pulled the pvc wire mesh, but the damage was done. It's it on my profile picture on facebook
What a grate video how did I miss it iv been a subscriber on this channel from the start but I do love when I come across a grate video that iv not seen yet
James Hatfield Jr some of the pleco caves came from vendors but the cones and some tubes were made by a local potter and I'm waiting for her to make me more if those are what you're asking about.
Kevin Keith The Midnights came from Stuby's Tropicals. The only info we have was provided by them at the time of purchase and haven't had a chance to research any further.
Rylan's Aquariums those known as Circular Loricaria, can't recall the scientific name right now. Unfortunately we lost the group right after they filmed them.
+TheGolemHunter In my opinion, it'll turn them off to other foods after awhile making it hard to switch diets if you ever decide on not going frozen after awhile. I definitely could be wrong though.
+TheGolemHunter I forgot to add this is Jimmy speaking and this is my personal advice and not Cory's but I would alternate. Unless it's a species that absolutely full on meat eater then I would feed bloodworms more often and bring in pellets or flakes every now and then.
Jimmy of Aquarium Coop Ok, thanks Jimmy! My fish is a betta so it is a carnivore. I think at least a frozen bloodworm meal daily should be good with pellets/flakes in the other :).
TheBSideDJ the Aspidoras Spilotus jump out of the tanks every now & then cause we forget to close the lids, we feed twice a day so it's easy to leave lids open since they're on the top rack and we can't see up there without a latter or after water changes we will forget to close the lids also which is how they make it over or down several tanks.
yes story about the lids is totaly normal :)... it's just a story that i've never heard before.... "space invaders" !!! :) . what a nice fish room you have, and a lot of beautiful fish and knowledge... Very nice video.
I love pounds for fish in the summer, but sorry, I dislike this video, pleco shouldn't be kept as pet in small tank or pound. It's an animal abuse to do that, they are not made for it.
Thanks for the sweet video Jimmy.
Thank you for having us!!

I put an airtsone in my porch pond, but with these soaring temps it was just pumping hot air through the water column. So I placed the placed the airpump in a styrofaom box and switch out a couple re-usable ice packs every morning.

Flummoxed World not that many fish hobbyist on youtube who enjoy this content but I certainly do :)
Anyone know if frozen bloodworms can be fed daily? 2-3 per feeding. Mine dont smell bad for some reason so i dont mind preparing them.
+TheGolemHunter In my opinion, it'll turn them off to other foods after awhile making it hard to switch diets if you ever decide on not going frozen after awhile. I definitely could be wrong though.
Jimmy of Aquarium Coop so every two days would be better? Alternate with pellets, flakes, and peas or just have 2-3 bloodworms a day with pellets?
