Whoa! Those tanks are amazing! They are little ecosystems, not just sterile water containers. No wonders the fish are happy... and I'm kinda envious. LOL.
Very nice. I wouldn't have been able to pass on the malawi gars either. I would have struggled to not bring even more home. That tropheus tank was nice.
Adam C neither had I when I got mine. I was new to fish when I got it and it was small so I thought it was just a regular pictus cat until it grew to like twice the size of the rest
Soda cichlids.. never heard of them either thanks for the video sir. May I ask what club he kept mentioning? I live in GA as I think you do to?? maybe? so I was hoping it may be in driving distance :) Moving in a few months and I want to set up some tanks again when settled in. Thanks again!
Super Nice fishroom with some high $$ Fish. I wonder if they are still working with N. Prochilus I’m down to one lonely male and would love to add some more, Adam anyway you could find out?
Do they have a youtube channel at all? I have several africans that they have and would love to see more on their set ups. In particular I have nyassachromis boadzulu and cyathopharynx furcifer sibwesa
+Ryan Charlesworth cool Ryan. we are located just outside of saint Louis, their awards are from the Missouri aquarium society. they jist guests monthly and also auctions
Question you for you are those gouramis the Ceylon Combtail (Belontia signata)? As I just hunted trying to figure it out on the internet never seen them before and think it would be super cool to get a pair for a 75 or 100 gallon as gouramis have always been one of my all time favorite species.
Hello Adam, for my 20 gallon tank I am using a sponge filter and a fluval 306. At about 1 week, the ammonia reaches 0.50ppm, nitrite 0 and nitate 40ppm Now i noticed that in this video on that most of these tanks are just using 2 sponge filters. Is that enough filtration in the video? And what can do to reduce nitrate and ammonia . Thank you ! Great vid
arvin mendoza hi arvin yes they use a lot of larger sponge filters that are completely cycled and appropriately sized. if you are getting that high of ammonia readings your tank may not be completely cycled
+arvin mendoza do you have it stocked heavily? or maybe did a heavy cleaning or something? that can kill off some beneficial bacteria which can lead to an ammonia spike and the cycle starting over
+arvin mendoza that's odd. something is going on. you shouldn't have that high of ammonia in an established tank. you don't feed too much right? unbeaten decaying food and waste can cause it
hi lance unfortunately I don't think they are currently shipping. did u watch one of my recent videos of my friend Chris's tanks? he had some black orange he might ship I think
I still cant get over the names of some of these fish "Oh that's the Bichromiuous Morphous Maxious Gullite Epicus"...I'm sorry Wut??? Who created the names for all these fish. and that's just the name for one type of fish...

arvin mendoza hi arvin yes they use a lot of larger sponge filters that are completely cycled and appropriately sized. if you are getting that high of ammonia readings your tank may not be completely cycled
Adam C well my tank and have been running for 1 year. What else could be the problem? Should i keep the fluval 306 and sponge filter in my 20 gal?
+arvin mendoza do you have it stocked heavily? or maybe did a heavy cleaning or something? that can kill off some beneficial bacteria which can lead to an ammonia spike and the cycle starting over
Adam C not heavily. 4 cories and 5 butterfly cichlids. Weekly I do about 35% water change
+arvin mendoza that's odd. something is going on. you shouldn't have that high of ammonia in an established tank. you don't feed too much right? unbeaten decaying food and waste can cause it
Damn! That’s sweet!

Correction - nothing in the Lake is extinct. Scarce maybe - extinct - .....no
A lot of people have their filters tilted I see. Why is this?
I dont think there is a specific reason
@@adamc7918 lol I actually meant heaters😅
Well really they just need to be submerged. Some people like them horizontal or tilted, or just dont straighten them when fish knock them sideways
I lick the second fish very much 👍👍😏😏😋😋
md mahim they are probably my favorite
I want those Gnathochromis bad. You never see them in the hobby.
Brian Wirtz hi Brian they told me it took them 3 years to find
You need gimbal
