I think the finished product is absolutely stunning, and I look forward to making a dozen of these for my wife for this Valentine’s Day. I’ve been doing crochet for about two weeks, and just made a simple baby blanket so far, so this looks like a nice fun challenging project to take on.

I'm making my girlfriend a pillow and wanted to accent the pillow with some roses, and this helped so much. It's my first crochet project that I actually have progressed through and I wanted to make it really special and unique for her. Thanks for giving such great and easy to follow directions
Surprising my boyfriend I'll make a rose for him and then I've bought him some cute things I hope to give him the most amazing valentine's day as it's during our holiday ❤😂 thanks for the video much more simpler than I thought
I’m so glad I’m not the only one that does this! I’ve made it kinda a tradition to make my fiance diy flowers each year, some times crochet, sometimes other things, I love it. And it’s always different kinds!
Yours is literally the first flower I have been able to complete start to finish AND have it look like a flower!!! You're an AMAZING teacher! Thank you so much! Do you have any Lily or other flower tutorials?
One of the BEST, most reliable videos that I've found. In general, this channel does beautiful videos, unlike many other channels that don't give any verbal instructions and just play wonky music. I really hate those. "Blossom Crochet" does it right, with gentle, clear verbal instructions, and videos! Thank you VERY MUCH for your kind help.
This was by far the easiest rose pattern I have attempted to make! I am going to put one on a hat for my soon to be born granddaughter because her middle name will be Rose! Thank you for the tutorial!
Very Beautiul Rose design- I loved that the shape of rose changed depending upon how it was rolled. TY so much for posting this and showing us how to complete a rose. I've been crocheting 4 yrs now, & it never occurred to me , that I might need to learn how to crochet flowers! This has been very rewarding to watch you, and I will come back and do a CAL with you. TY Donna
I'm literally sat here at 5.30 in the morning following this. She makes it so easy to understand and I don't want to stop until I've made a whole bouquet!! xD
I'm a beginner and found this video easy to follow. I had to pause, rewind, and rewatch alot of places just because I would lose track of the hook movements, but the explanations were spot on for helping me understand. About 1/3 of the way through row two I started seeing what she was envisioning. After that, I actually started getting faster and more comfortable with the trebles. THANK YOU!
Chain 66. Turn your work -- in the 6th stitch from the hook, put 1 dbl crochet. Skip 2 chains. Dbl crochet into the 3rd; chain 2, add 1 more dbl crochet into the same stitch. Do this to the end of the row. Chain 2 and turn your work. Double crochet into the ch 2 space and chain 3, add 2 more dbl crochet. 2 DC, ch3, 2 DC into each chain 2 space until the end. Chain 1 and turn. Into each ch 3 space, add 7 DC. In the space between the ch3, add a single crochet. Do this until you complete the row. Ch 1 and finish off leaving a long tail for sewing.
I love this so much. Thank you and you used both UK and US abbreviation. I learnt UK abbreviation and get confused if someone uses only US abbreviation. Im going to make these and adorn a baby blanket. ❤
This is such a fun project! I also tried making a succulent with this pattern, when I was stitching the seven US doubles, I instead did a US triple in the fourth stitch to create a pointed leaf
I changed up the last row a bit and instead of doing 7 double crochets(dc), I did, 3dc, 1tr, picot, 3 dc and it makes a really pretty point to the ends
AAA THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I wanted to make a bouquet for my mom and boyfriend and after many hours wasted on other videos on tutorials, only this has worked!
hey Blossom Crochet, new sub here from Southern Africa :) ! Amazing video, loved to learn it, I will definitely be watching more videos from your channel.🥰🥰🥰
I am beginner too and hopefully I can do like you did. This is my very first project, I want to make a bouquet of roses for my friend’s birthday so hopefully I can 🤞🏼

@mg5866 I think the right is single crochet. On the video, in meddle of the 7 DC, have 1 single crochet, I hope this could help

What weight of yarn do you use and hook
This video helped so much way batter then the other ones
this may be common sense lol, but how many single chains would make a smaller flower? would it be 33 chains, as it’s half of 66?
Does it matter which gauge hook I use? I used to crochet a bit as a kid but decided to pick it up again now that I'm retired. I've got so many ideas. Thank you so much for this video.
I would suggest using whatever size hook your chosen yarn recommends - that should work perfectly 🩷
Thank you! I'm finally beginning again. Got my yarn and hook. Finding that I need a little practice for getting my stitches nice and smooth. I'm excited to start crafting again.
Thank you for the inspiration, instruction, and most of all your response to my question. 💕✨️💕✨️💕 😊
What hook are you using
I would recommend using whatever hook size your chosen yarn lists - but maybe a half hook size down would also be lovely!
Beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you so much
You're most welcome 🤗
This is so pretty! Do you by chance have a written pattern?
That was not easy
I agree
So true 😂
I'm like mine doesn't look as pretty as hers is lol 😆
I really found it easy :/ which part make u struggle ?
Hi, this looks so easy thanks to your tutorial. I wonder if you could tell me how to make a smaller flower. In that how long should the chain be?
