I think the finished product is absolutely stunning, and I look forward to making a dozen of these for my wife for this Valentine’s Day. I’ve been doing crochet for about two weeks, and just made a simple baby blanket so far, so this looks like a nice fun challenging project to take on.
I'm making my girlfriend a pillow and wanted to accent the pillow with some roses, and this helped so much. It's my first crochet project that I actually have progressed through and I wanted to make it really special and unique for her. Thanks for giving such great and easy to follow directions
Surprising my boyfriend I'll make a rose for him and then I've bought him some cute things I hope to give him the most amazing valentine's day as it's during our holiday ❤😂 thanks for the video much more simpler than I thought

This was by far the easiest rose pattern I have attempted to make! I am going to put one on a hat for my soon to be born granddaughter because her middle name will be Rose! Thank you for the tutorial!
One of the BEST, most reliable videos that I've found. In general, this channel does beautiful videos, unlike many other channels that don't give any verbal instructions and just play wonky music. I really hate those. "Blossom Crochet" does it right, with gentle, clear verbal instructions, and videos! Thank you VERY MUCH for your kind help.
Very Beautiul Rose design- I loved that the shape of rose changed depending upon how it was rolled. TY so much for posting this and showing us how to complete a rose. I've been crocheting 4 yrs now, & it never occurred to me , that I might need to learn how to crochet flowers! This has been very rewarding to watch you, and I will come back and do a CAL with you. TY Donna
Chain 66. Turn your work -- in the 6th stitch from the hook, put 1 dbl crochet. Skip 2 chains. Dbl crochet into the 3rd; chain 2, add 1 more dbl crochet into the same stitch. Do this to the end of the row. Chain 2 and turn your work. Double crochet into the ch 2 space and chain 3, add 2 more dbl crochet. 2 DC, ch3, 2 DC into each chain 2 space until the end. Chain 1 and turn. Into each ch 3 space, add 7 DC. In the space between the ch3, add a single crochet. Do this until you complete the row. Ch 1 and finish off leaving a long tail for sewing.
This is such a fun project! I also tried making a succulent with this pattern, when I was stitching the seven US doubles, I instead did a US triple in the fourth stitch to create a pointed leaf
I changed up the last row a bit and instead of doing 7 double crochets(dc), I did, 3dc, 1tr, picot, 3 dc and it makes a really pretty point to the ends
AAA THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I wanted to make a bouquet for my mom and boyfriend and after many hours wasted on other videos on tutorials, only this has worked!
I am beginner too and hopefully I can do like you did. This is my very first project, I want to make a bouquet of roses for my friend’s birthday so hopefully I can 🤞🏼
@@BlossomCrochet two days in for this project and it’s turning out BEAUTIFUL like I can’t describe it. All of my hard work is definitely getting payed of. I will definitely recommend you for people who want to start crocheting.
Oh a beautiful rose indeed! Thank you for a lovely tutorial. I love the idea of it being able to fold to make a bud or an open rose🌹😀. Beautiful! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Does it matter which gauge hook I use? I used to crochet a bit as a kid but decided to pick it up again now that I'm retired. I've got so many ideas. Thank you so much for this video.
Thank you! I'm finally beginning again. Got my yarn and hook. Finding that I need a little practice for getting my stitches nice and smooth. I'm excited to start crafting again. Thank you for the inspiration, instruction, and most of all your response to my question. 💕✨️💕✨️💕 😊
Can these be attached to make a blanket? I am wanting to make a flower blanket with scrap yarn. I love your videos and have made many of your designs! Thanks so much!
A darning needle is a blunt needle with larger holes for threading yarn, you can pick them up pretty cheap online depending where you’re based 🌸 Once you have a darning needle you’ll be able to sew it up ☺️
To make it smaller reduce however much you chain by 2 per petal. Ex: if you want to remove 4 petals only chain 58 instead of 66. If you want to get rid of a whole row take out 6 petals(ch 54). I just made one so thats how ik, but i hope this helps!

I would suggest using whatever size hook your chosen yarn recommends - that should work perfectly 🩷

Thank you for the inspiration, instruction, and most of all your response to my question. 💕✨️💕✨️💕 😊
Easy to follow, thank you!
Hi, this looks so easy thanks to your tutorial. I wonder if you could tell me how to make a smaller flower. In that how long should the chain be?
I like your pattern, I would like to make a smaller rose, half the size
Ive got the rest of the rose but im still confused on how to finish it off? Im not sure how to get it to all stick together 😭
With hot glue or sewing
This is so pretty! Do you by chance have a written pattern?
Today was my crush’s birthday and so I made him a tiny frog holding an even tinier rose
That sounds adorable 🥰
Thank you!
Love this! Please can you show us how to turn it into a square ❤
That’s a great idea, I’ll have a play around and see what I can come up with 🌸

I’m a beginner crocheter and I was following this pretty well till the end, what’s a darning needle and how do I sew it together?😭

@@BlossomCrochet Ahh I see, thanks for that!🫶🏽
this may be common sense lol, but how many single chains would make a smaller flower? would it be 33 chains, as it’s half of 66?
Thank you :3
You're welcome!🌸
So if you want to make a mini, just chaining 33 would work, right?🤔
Make a pretty corsage/ broach.
It would! 🌸🥰
If I wanted to make it smaller how much should I chain?
To make it smaller reduce however much you chain by 2 per petal. Ex: if you want to remove 4 petals only chain 58 instead of 66. If you want to get rid of a whole row take out 6 petals(ch 54). I just made one so thats how ik, but i hope this helps!

So glad you think you’ve got the hang of it 🌸
