3:48 first petal begins. Summary of petal pulling through the slip knot of petal yarn. Chain 5, half treble 7, Tunisian, single 3, chain 2, single into same, single 3, chain 5, slip. This merely aids memory, clearly doesn't substitute video.

This is THE PRETTIEST crochet flower I've ever seen!!! And YOU are, hands down, my ABSOLUTE favorite you-tube-torialist of all time - and on ANY subject!
If they ever come up with some kind of youtube awards, like The Grammy's or Oscar's?! Lol. I will definitely nominate you!
Besides being THE best at teaching/showing how its done, you actually brighten my days which means a lot as I am homebound dealing with health issues and chronic pain. Crochet has become my #1 coping mechanism.
I enjoy your voice and energy so much that sometimes when I'm crocheting something that i don't need to follow a video to be able to do, I will just let your videos play one after another in the background. Wayyy better than watching TV!!!
I truly appreciate that you allow your kind, helpful & playful spirit come through in your tutorials! You are a breath of fresh air!!!💜💜💜

Just wanted to share my experience with this incredible pattern that is by now engraved in me brain. 😂 I made a Sunflower one of a black core with deep yellow petals, but my absolute favorite is a Water Lily: i made a solid dark green foundation and placed another one on top of it. The top part is of a yellow core with white petals. It looks incredible!!!😍 Thank you again and again, Robin! I have not been able to stop experimenting with various colours of the core and petals, my garden is growing, but not for long. All these beautiful flowers will be given away soon!💐🌺🌹🌷🌼🌻🌸💖💖💖

I always struggle with tension in treble crochets. I always have to do every treble twice to get the tension right. The last loop left in the hook gets stretched out by the motion of the hook twisting back and fourth. I’m absolutely going to try this beautiful flower but I’ll probably use double crochets instead.

I just watched this video and made a flower. Then I thought "What if I used this petal pattern on a larger circle and make a sunflower?" IT TOTALLY WORKS! The nice part is that the petals fall one behind and one in from of each other and it makes a beautiful thick layer around the centre!
    So what I did was...
    For the centre:
Magic circle and crochet 12 dc into it.
Increase 2 in each stitch doing dc(24st)
Increase 2 in every other stitch doing single crochet (36)
    Petals:
Do this exact same pattern, but a 3 chain instead of a two.
    It was a happy accident!

Don’t change the pattern but use a larger hook and yarn size.😃

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I tried so many two color flower patterns and was ready to give up. And while mine only came out with 5 petals, I am so excited to have a completed two color flower project.

Robin, I just wanted to thank you for your quality videos. I haven't picked up my hooks in probably 2 years, and I was still a novice the last time I did a project, but thanks to your amazing content and clarity I am about to completely a fully crocheted "hipster" bag for my daughter. I was able to pick my skills back up and master new ones very quickly thanks to you. Thank you!

I really love this little flower and I have to stop putting if off and try it. I wanted something easy because I haven't crocheted in years. I'm going to have to use my 100% cotton yarns because I have a lot of it right now.

You should definitely give it a go! It's one of those things that looks harder than it is 😊
