@@bratsmom6749 😂 I've taken to booting Steve out of the room when I'm trying to film these days due to her new obsession of trying to sit under my ring light at the same time as the camera is recording LOL
Just a word of caution..the cat may attempt to chew the wool, and should it unravel, long lengths can be digested and cause intestinal problems, or indeed if for a small kitten, the unraveled wool may become trapped around the neck. It's a gorgeous idea, just be present when the cat has the item. I'm sorry if I sound paranoid, but one of my cats chewed on an old jumper I put down in her bed because it had my smell on, and she chewed and swallowed long lengths. She was fine, but ended up leading to a very hefty vet bill. Edit: be mindful of the plastic eyes too. Sorry to poop on your idea!
I made one for my cat but I used french knots in black yarn for the eyes. Because kitty does not care I tied knots so it was not likely to unravel. She mauled it to 'death' since she goes bonkers over catnip and nothing came undone or unraveled.
I know I'm easy to please but I think these are about the cutest flowers I've ever seen. I told my wife that I've found about the greatest crochet channel ever and I introduced her to Hooked by Robin. She too enjoys your lovely videos. Very well done Robin from a brand new subscriber living in the panhandle of Idaho very near the border with Canada.
Yours are the only videos I use. Haven’t crocheted since I was 11, now 59 and because of you I can do a granny square, a jellyfish and just completed the flower. I’m housebound virtually and you make me feel so validated m. You are the best teacher. Thank you x
@@HookedbyRobin it’s the truth and you deserve to hear how much you are helping people. Credit where credits due. I tell everyone about your videos lol. Keep doing you please. Simply the best x
I saw this on Yarnjoy podcast...n I had to check it out. For years I carry a little toy with me in my purse or pocket. And if I see a child that's being a handful for the parent I give the child a little whatever I made...n everyone's happy 😊
I've made it! What a beautiful flower turned out. I used soft rainbow fluffy yarn for petals and cotton yellow yarn for central piece. So it has very gentle petals, pretty rough but squishy body. Ended this cutie in one day. So happy about the result. Thank you for the tutorial, so easy and clear. I love how positively you react for bad lucks. Sacrificing nails 💅 for youtube 😿🙂
My first amigurumi crochet item and I some how ended up with 14 petals 😹😹😹😹. I’m still very pleased with it and it looks lovely. Thank you for the tutorial 💕💕
I am so glad I found this video... I amgoing to make these without the keyring and extra back circle and add 12 for my grandchildren to my lap blanket and call it grandmomma's garden... of course in their favorite colors so they know which flower is theirs... going to try and crochet a harbor for the girls and bootie for the boys so if they have the same favorite color... oh the possibilities with this flower 🌼 😍
Saw this video today... already made two! I'm going to make them for the ladies I care for at work and hope to bring a smile to their face. Thank you for the tutorial!
I've never watched a crochet tutorial that was explained this well before! It was so easy for me to follow the steps. Thank you so so much, i really appreciate your patience! ♥
I love all your Amigurumi tutorials. I have learnt so much by watching them. I've just made this little flower keyring and its turned out perfect. Thank you.
I LOVE this project! I just made my first one and it’s so cute I can hardly stand it. 🤣😂 I couldn’t find the safety eyes and didn’t feel like digging through my buttons, so I made the eyes with yarn. They turned out pretty good for a first try. Thank you for a wonderful tutorial!!💖
Thank you Robin! In Australia as we have all been in lockdown for months I am doing these and giving them away as acts of kindness to make others feel.love xx Again thank you so so much ❤❤
I am new to crochet, so happy I found your channel. You explain things and work at a pace I can understand and keep up with. Thank you. Looking forward to making this one!
Great video thank you. Also great showing how to slow down video as it saved me keep going back over the tutorial again and again. Unfortunately I managed to only have 10 petals at the end but was still really pleased with it! Great tutor just a bad student.🤣
I really enjoyed making one of these little flowers, so cute. I will be making more. Mine did come out smaller, because I had a limited amount of yellow, but as long as you have an even number of stitches on the outside of the face, it works. I also didn't have any little eyeballs, so I just used black yarn and made a few French knots. Thanks for the inspiration.
My Nonna taught me how to crochet 🧶 when I was younger. Your video ,is so great! I can’t wait to try this!! You are an amazing teacher thank you so much for sharing, I can’t wait for more videos!😊🙏🏻😃💕
Hi Robin! My first ever attempt at amigurumi. The first one didn’t turn out too badly. Practice is needed, but I think I will be making lots of these. Thank you so much for the clear instructions and easy to follow tutorial. 👍🥰
After watching your video a million times, I FINALLY finished my 1st flower - with a slight frown lol! But I know what to do next time! Thank you so much for your CLEAR AND SIMPLE tutorial! Can't wait to make more
The pattern is lovely! The crochet steps are explained very well and the way it is recorded helps also a great deal! Thank you for the wonderful tutorial! 🤗💕
I love this!!! What a great way to use up my Ice rainbow Picasso yarn. This is so cheery and perfect for spring. I’m going to make a couple of them and give one to my neighbor. I always love your tutorials because the video is so clean and clear, and easy to see what you’re doing. Thank you so much!
Wanted a little something to brighten up a plain bag for a day trip tomorrow so whipped one of these up, even gave it arms and legs with beads as hands and feet, so cute! 🌼

I just add a loop of yarn on the top to hang them by.

You may need to tweak the petals to get them a little larger but I don't see why not!
