This two pack of memory foam pillows comes vacuum packed in a roll. As soon as you unwrap it, they start to expand (and smell like new foam....so they need to air out for a few days...but since they are outdoor pillows that is fine). The outside shell is 100% polyester (think the outside of a cheap sleeping bag). It's a bit slick, and in the heat it may start to feel sweaty. They have a zipper so you can remove the foam inner cushion and wash the outside shell.
They are held on with a large piece of elastic that adjusts with a buckle. It does a good job holding it to the back of my patio lounge chairs, but I am worried that the elastic will be the first part of the pillow to start to decay (especially exposed to UV light outdoors).
