Colour suits you Hun. The second pronunciation of Vidal Sassoon was correct! I'm thinking of going slightly lighter with my hair colour soon. I'm currently a light brown with some blonde highlights through the top, so thinking of going lighter for spring. 👍🌟💗

I just dyed my hair with Vidal Sassoon deep velvet violet and added the manic panic vampire red & purple haze it came out just as you said. Thanks for this tip hun😉

I can of do the same as you, my color is like yours. I use Roux color refresh in burgundy and mix a little brown,(Sally' s) I mix with my conditioner every time I wash my hair. Color stays true till I do a retouch...going to try Manic next time I run out..Thanks for your video!!

I had a question I did everything you did, I mean everything absolutely love my results thank you, but my question is when you washed your hair with that shampoo did it still bleed in the shower? Sorry Amanda, I still have more questions as I prepare myself to color my hair. I was thinking & wondering, once my roots grow out & I color my roots with both of the same permanent colors again, will my roots take the color if my natural hair color is very dark? Won't I have to prelighten my roots before I use the same colors again?
I'm starting out with a medium ash brown hair colour and I am looking for this exact result. Does this concoction come out as dark as this, or should I add a base of a dark brown hair colour with it to get the depth I am looking for?
Can you talk about styling your short hair on no hair wash days? When I wake up in the morning it's sticking up all Albert Einstein like! I feel like I have to wash my hair daily just to get it down.
JENNA101179 Since my hair is getting longer, it doesn't stick up so bad in the mornings, but when it was short, I would sometimes wet it a little and use a hair dryer to get it back in shape.
I so want this color not sure how it will turn out in my hair it's mostly shades of blonde the back is brown. What would you suggest? What color was your hair originally before dying to this color combo?

Hi! I have already a violet/ red color but I just want to retouch my roots. Manic panic can works? Or a do need apply first my permanent dye and then use manic panic? If manic panic work for retouch my roots,how long I have to leave it on my hair? I hope u can help me and I'll like to know what is the best option, buy manic panic or my current dye. Thanks
Maria Wright Manic panic doesn't stick to virgin hair all that well so I would recommend using some sort of hair dye prior to applying manic panic.

When you touch it up every week, do you put the color all throughout your hair or just the roots? I colored my hair a week ago and its already not as vibrant as before. I'm only washing it every other day in cold water.

I like the manic panic! It's what gives me the vibrant color! But I use the loreal permanent color first because it darkens it a bit and because the manic panic doesn't stick to my natural hair, but it sticks to the color! After you use manic panic for a while the red will stop fading so much and you will find that even when it's faded, it's still very much red!

No, I just mix that large container and store it under the bathroom sink!

I have dark hair now. 4 mo. ago i colored it black but its looking more brown now. i have hair to my ears so by June when i color it, it will look the way i want. letting my pixie grow out.lol. yer a big help.

30 minutes??? no no leave manic panic in 2 hours,..then you will see the color.. for real sista!! 30 minutes if your a blonde,..your dark the longer the leave in the deeper the color.

Hi Amanda. When it's time to do your roots, do you color your full head with the permanent color or do you just do the roots?

+Amanda Cypert Ok thanks! I think I'm gonna try 1 1/2 bottles of Intense Auburn & just half of Lush Cherry cuz I want the darkness but I still want more red to show up. Not saying that it's going to work, but we'll see.
