I use Schwarzkopf hair dye and it does not fade like other red hair dyes do. I color my hair every 3 to 4 months and my color looks almost the same. And when I take a shower it doesn't bleed after the first few showers. It's an excellent brand.
Such an awesome video Patty! As a fellow red coloring curly, I use all these tips all the time!🙌🏼 And the product recommendations are 😙🤌❤️ Oh and thank you! I needed a reminder to get more color depositing masks!❤️➿️❤️
Girl la la i use the Pantonne red from syoss to colour my roots, my hair has been very healthy and the colour last really long. I dont know if Syoss exists where you live, i am from europe.
So accurate deep conditioning is essential when you've had bleach, it makes a massive difference. I've also found that using rice water as a pre-poo makes your hair super soft. I have purple hair and the staining should not be underestimated. It's so bad for the first couple of weeks that I just accept my nails will match my hair 😂😂 Oil is also something I added to my routine even if I'm not using gel, I always apply jojoba oil to my hair especially the ends. It doesn't make my roots more oily which I was surprised by but I do keep the oil away from them. Another tip I have is the day after I've had my hair bleached and the purple applied I do massage a mix of coconut oil and jojoba oil onto my scalp. This helps reduce the itching I can get and I just live with the fact that I'll need to wash in 2 days rather than 4 days. Your scalp can be dried out by colouring even if you don't use bleach.
Since this video is a year old idk if you are still staying with the red hair. But recently I tried a demi permanent hair color by Revlon in 4RV Burgundy and it is so pretty! Maybe this might be an option for you in between salon visits.
I dye my hair at home and I use the L’Oréal Hi-Color for Dark Hair Only and I love it I use the Red but they also have a Magenta that looks closer to your hair color. Hope this helps 😊
When the cherry colour fade what colour does it fade to?? Will it be like ugly or normal!! Im scared im dyeing my hair in two weeks i will not bleach my hair tho!!! Will i ever get my normal hair coulour back? Cuz if it grows from the root and i keep refershing the dye then that means i will bever get my normal hair colour back right 🥹🥹🥹🥹
If you get a cherry color, those typically have pink as an undertone so it will fade to the lighter version of the color or a slight pink color. I use a true red color and those have an orange undertone so unfortunately those will fade to orange. But i dont want pink hair😂. I usually will mix a cherry color with my red so it can be less orange but not so pink if that makes sense
hey, if you’ve got naturally dark hair it would most likely look fine and the color would just naturally fade back to natural and it might have a slight tint until your natural hair completely grows out. That’s just my experience with semi permanent dye, with a dark cherry color.
Hi! So if I use the Keracolor color depositing product will it change the shade of red of my hair? I have a somewhat dark red hair shade and I really don't want to ruin it
Hmm it depends, but I'd say most likely yes :/ You might wanna find a color mask that's more on the darker side? I'm not sure if you can mix 2 colors with the keracolor but I've recently used Overtone and mixed the red and purple to get a dark red shade. I posted a video about it on instagram if you wanna check it out! You can also try doing a test strand maybe on the back side just to see how it will turn out 🙌🏼
That amazing info! I wrote it all down but now I’m like ahhh I can’t spend that all at once. When working my way up what are the main ones you’d recommend? I am a CrossFit girl. My hair is purple pink red 😅 like a fantasy color 😅 and I’m starting to get dandruff 😩
You also get the added benefits of: being visible n recognizable. Which is really great for avoiding getting kidnapped n trafficked since you'll be "sticking out like a sore thumb" n also, fending off weirdos normally. Ex 1. This audio, wtf. Lmao
Yay, more girls to not come up with your own style. Stay off the reds. You guys cany be me and look like clowns. Singed the trwnd setter. Who knew 15 years of birgandey hair would cause a trend, disgusting.
Yes! I'd say the bleeding lasts for around a month? I wash it 2-3x a week and it's less and less each wash. But I also use a color mask and that wears off after a few washes too so it would bleed a little. It's so much less compared to a freshly colored hair tho!

Glad to hear that! 😍❤️ which color masks do you use? ☺️
How long does the bleeding in the shower last like does it eventually stop?
for me it's usually just the first 2-3 washes after it's dyed, but that might vary for different people

Just going to say- Clorox type cleaning wipes remove hair dye from skin (wipe immediately DURING dying) and your bathroom.
