One good trick: after you wait a while to process the regrowth (or roots), take the remaining color that you might have in the bowl and add really good conditioner in it and run it through the entire hair and wait a half an hour or so. It refreshes and softens the hair. What you did here with the Arctic fox is good too. 😀😀

Amazing video & goal here right here!! Question I colored my hair in Jan magenta & red. I had about 5 inches of virgin hair that took the due great but the ends of my hair were highlighted so now they are fading into orange.. meanwhile I have 2/3 inches of dark roots. Would it be better to follow the this? Or just hit it again with the dye so it has a better chance of coloring it all even?
Recently dyed my hair a deep auburn. Was wondering what color you do your brows, or what products you use. My natural hair is pretty dark brown, not sure if I should keep doing black or use a chocolate brown or something to match my hair. Finding that most "auburn" brow products are too coppery. Thanks!
Hiya! You're hair is gorgeous! I have a question though- is it possible to go a couple shades darker on the hair that is already colored, so instead of you using arctic fox's magenta could I replace that with a darker red? Thanks!
I bleached my hair before dying it essentially the same red as you. As someone new to doing their own hair, should I bleach my roots as they grow when I do touch ups? My hair is naturally dark if that matters. I just don’t want to have light red hair with dark red roots but I want to be safe with my hair!
Hello!! I'm asking you, should I put the color on all my hair? Right now I have Mosml red, but a red from Garnier boxes!! Next time, should I put the mascara and the Arctic Fox color on it??? Please help?
I watched this video cause right now im in NEED of a red retouch and its my 1st time having red hair. But i have a question, why did u do the roots first and then washed it off and then applied the other color separate? Lmk please
Color looks great, but does the retouch bleed, when you sweat, or get in the pool. I find that all direct colors bleed. I leave towels, sheets, pillows cases with color ☹️
Hi I just subscribed to your channel, you speak beautifully ( I want to put a little purple on the ends of my hair I got the bleach kit, im scared 💜 well thank you👼🌻🌲🐶🐾🙏👍🐣🥑
Before i found this product i had to bleach my roots then dye them with the red i use in a long two step process lol cant believe i did all that every time haha now i can do one step for roots.
This is exactly what I needed and couldn’t find anyone else that did what I was thinking of doing! I had my hair done in January and have been using wrath all this time since then to retouch but I wanted to retouch the roots now! But my wrath doesn’t come out as vibrant as yours even on the hair that had already been colored red so maybe I should use the hi lift throughout my entire hair for the first time?? Maybe just not leave it on as long on the parts that are currently already red but need retouching? Since it had been lightened in highlights… not fully. I’m thinking i can do roots and the rest of the hair separately and leave it on for like 15-2o mins max as well..? Idk! What do you think? I know the L’Oréal says for dark hair but my already red hair could be more vibrant and could use a tiny bit more of lightening I’m so scared I’ll mess it up but I also think that with the right timing its totally doable.
Do it as you planned, sounds good or maybe the last 10 mins before washing or you could deep condition/olaplex your hair then wait a few days before doing it as you said.
Thank you. I bought the L'Oreal high lighter it was 5.99 each . And for the 30 volume (different brand) 5.99 . It was 18 $ total. In the beauty supply. I'm happy 😁
Just found your channel and subscribed and I’m so grateful! This and your other video of how you maintain it have answered all my questions. I’ve been dyeing my hair since January with L’Oréal HiColor Magenta every 1-2 months. By the time it’s time to retouch my hair is a copper color with black roots. I see that your retouch, your hair still looks pretty red. Would you recommend that I retouch with Artic Fox while it’s this copper color? Or should I re-dye again with L’Oréal HiColor Magenta to get the red back in and then retouch it with Artic Fox before it turns copper? Thank you!
Go in with any direct dye product you like, artic fox, a color mask etc. Use as often as needed to maintain the color. There is no need to go back in with the hicolor unless you desire some lightening. Bear in mind please that with lift comes a degree of damage so the condition of hair will need to be evaluated prior to any lightening service.
@@graceyhaney479 I actually ended up dyeing it again with the hi color because I wasn’t sure what to do, but it quickly faded away. I went to Sally’s and bought ION Hot Red color pigment. It’s a color depositing conditioner. So I wash my hair every 3 days, shampoo, condition and leave conditioner for like 3 mins and then apply the ION conditioner and leave on for 5 mins. I have yet to dye my hair for like 2 months and the color is as vibrant as the first day I dyed it. So far it seems to be working and my hair feels healthy and actually holds styling unlike before when I kept dyeing it with the hicolor once a month. Hope it works for you!!

I like to use non-damaging colors from manic panic and irioiro. I do my whole head in irioro shade 100 dark red and then cover all of that with manic panic vampire red and leave it in for an hour or longer. The result is a nice dark red that’s still super bright, but doesn’t have that pinky look when you’re outside. I also mix manic panic into my conditioner when I wash my hair (1-2 times a week since I have curly hair) and that keeps the color in longer.
I currently have my hair red and to take better care of it, I watch your videos! I do have a question though. Why do you use semi-permanent dye on the bottom half but permanent dye on the roots? Does it make a difference?
The permanent dye is on the roots cause contains developer so it can lighten the roots while dying it red. she put the semi-permanent on the length cause it doesn't contain developer and using the developer one over & over in the same spot will cause damage. Hope this helps :)
Thank you so much for thus video! I literally went to sally 3 days ago and some lady reccomend me ION BRAND which suck bc my hair got all fuck up... Im gonna go today and try this, i will let you know if this work for me. 😢😵😵
You can use a pre-made color depositing mask or you can make one yourself using your favorite hair mask and a deposit only color like artic fox or manic panic. Use as needed for fresh and rich color without damage.
